Introduce yourself please. How did you get to be involved in crypto & Orion Money ?

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:
I came to know crypto back in 2014 when I first discovered bitcoin, invested in different projects in last 7 years, I normally do a lot of research before the conviction to buy actually grows on me.

discovered Terra back in 2019, helped built Terra community with some other core community members and than heard about Orion Money back in April when other two co-founders submitted this simple but big idea to hackathon

I joined the team in 1st week of the hackathon.

Other two founders have a lot of experience in building big businesses, they've built large e-commerce analytics business in last 10 years, grew it from 3 founders to 300+ employees, $20m in ARR and than sold it to private equity firm

Out of 300 employees they had very strong development team, close to 75 developers that they hired and had relationships with

so it was pretty quick and easy to put the core team for Orion Money. Today we have 9 developers, 2 commercial co-founders and 1 front end designer

Great team 👌 so can you give a brief explanation about 'Orion Money' ? What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this space?

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:
sure, Orion Money offers the highest, stable APY on stablecoins atm, let me share some comparison charts with you

We are full smart contract based, non-custodial DeFi platform similar to AAVE or Compound but with much better stable and whats even more important sustainable rates

as you see in chart above we already offer the highest stable yields on stablecoins on ethereum when comparing to other DeFi or CeFi platforms out there

what makes us unique is our partnership with Anchor Protocol. We are extending high yields of Anchor Protocol to other blockchains

Anchor protocol quickly becoming a gold standard for borrowing and savings where users can deposit their POS assets, take a loan against them or deposit and earn the highest stable rate in crypto powered by POS collateral assets that generate predictable and stable APY returns. Currently just LUNA and ETH but it coming weeks you will see SOL, DOT, ATOM and other POS stake assets added

atm we offer 13.5% APY on most popular stablecoins or 16.5% on wUST but after token generation event thats planned for September 30th we will introduce higher rates incentivized by Orion token

Our target APY levels are up to 25% on stablecoins for those that keep portion of their portfolio in Orion tokens and choose to receive interest payments in Orion tokens, really unmatched offering in this space.

the good example will be our recent partnership announcement with BlockBank where we can bring the highest stable APY rates to BlockBank customers through smart contracts integration. BlockBank 45000 users soon will be able to take advantage of those high APY rates directly on BlockBank platform

This is just one of many B2B integrations that we are working on

Impressive 👏 🙌 can you share more details about the OrionMoney Tokenomics,is there any particular vesting schedule if so can you share more about it?

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:
sure, sounds good, let me share couple slides for this too since you asked about vesting

but the way to look at it in general we are building multiple revenue sources where all funds earned will go to purchase Orion Money tokens in the open market and tokens will be added to our staking fund. That staking fund will distribute Orion tokens to Orion stakers and provide stable, non-inflationary APY on Orion tokens

as you see on this slide we've listed some of the revenue sources that we are building, starting from Orion Saver tiered APY staking incentivizes, to payment in Orion tokens vs stablecoins - we will market buy those tokens to pay interest

We also setup at start Terra validator, today number 1 delegator in terms of total delegations ( close to $700m in Luna delegated so far )

we are planning to increase commission on validator to 5% in coming weeks and all net-revenue from commission will be used to purchase Orion tokens on the open market and distribute to Orion stakers

We are also planning to build more dApps and add more products which will create additional revenue streams for Orion Money and add more value long term to Orion tokens

Sounds great ! So how has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:
That's what makes us different compare to lots of other new projects, I've been in crypto since 2014 so i've seen few things and understood with time what works and what doesnt work. Our tech team is very strong and can scale really quick given other two co-founders experience in growing tech companies in the real world.

we also have a product that matters and is highly desirable / wanted so that really helps when growing the project

Nice! So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Orion money? If possible could you please share road map with us?

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:
We had MVP version of our first dApp Orion Saver built during hackathon so working product from day 1 😊 when looking at other projects that are starting in the space, many will raise funds, put roadmap and you won't see a product for months or years in some cases

today you can already go to app.orion.money, login with metamask / wallet connect, deposit your stablecoins and start earning as soon as you make a deposit in 100% defi, non-custodial way

Our main focus is to build strong TVL, we are innovating in the space too, we’ve just completed our private farming event that attracted 700+ active community members, influencers, value added investors which deposited stablecoins in Orion Saver private farming vault to farm our token. We got $70m in deposits within 3-1/2 days of starting private farming

Our future goals is to grow our user base and TVL, we believe that through strong incentivizes and B2B integrations we can grow our TVL to $1B and become new DeFi unicorn in the space

initially we are focusing on expanding to other blockchains and adding partnerships with existing protocols, projects, gnosis treasuries on ethereum

with time however we also want to enable easy spending of your stablecoins and offer higher yield & insurance products

so we will be adding fiat on-off ramps plus debit cards

Within the Orion Money stablecoin bank, we have three main products planned — Orion Saver, Orion Yield and Insurance, and Orion Pay. May i know more about these products? How can Orion saver helps me to earn regardless of block chain?

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:
Orion Money is fully smart contract based, you can earn today already @ app.orion.money other products like Orion Pay or Orion Yield and Insurance is on our roadmap for next year, we will add those products through partnerships with existing projects that are building high yield leveraged protocols. We will offer their vaults directly on Orion Money website so users can stay on their native chain and take advantage of those rates on other chains directly in one dApp

How does Orion Money handle government regulations and boundaries? And What mechanisms / strategies do you use to keep users motivated and present on your platform? What can the Orion Money platform guarantee or promise in terms of the security and privacy of its users?

thats a good question, we are simply a tech startup that don't earn any revenue from what we build but rather share all the platform revenue with its users. Since its all built in smart contracts, next week we can stop building and projects that we integrated with or users on our platform can continue to use what we've built, we see ourselves transition with time to full DAO once project is mature enough and self-sustainable. We take security very seriously so therefore we've completed 3 smart contract audits and also added 2 insurance options to our platform

So i understand, Orion Money deposits stablecoins with EthAnchor, and they works with Terra. Why do you choose these platforms to work with? What are the unique benefits for the platform from them?

We believe Anchor protocol will become gold standard in crypto space for savings. We've partnered with Anchor team and essentially taking over EthAnchor bridge and its maintenance / upgrades plus further development

As more collateral assets will be enabled, more users will be drawn to it and we can be that bridge between others to Anchor on other blockchains

if you look at stablecoins market you will see that its growing very rapidly

more and more investors as they learn how to diversify their portfolio they move partially to stablecoins. Even with recent May correction you can see that stablecoins mcap continued to grow despite crypto corrected 50%+

With OrionSaver, we may get the greatest consistent yield in crypto. What is the highest APR/APY we can earn with Orion Saver? What is the smallest amount of money we can invest? Could you elaborate more on Orion Saver? Is there a lock-in period since it will have a stable yield?

the highest stable APY will be up to 25% if you hold our token and choose to receive interest in our token
