1. Can you give a brief explanation of what 'The Dapplist' is? Also, what made you want to create platforms in the web3 application spaces and why will all these platforms use the TDL?

To put it simply, The Dapp List is formulating a multichain ecosystem for curating web3 adoption.

Here we will bridge the gap between users, developers, and ecosystem partners by providing them a common platform to interact & work together.

It will make Dapps more accessible for users to engage and learn about. Additionally, the developers can build their community, get validation for their ideas/dapps, and gain traction to develop their idea to outcome.

2. So what discerns you from other projects and what gives The Dapplist an advantage over other projects in the space?

Talking about features that distinguishes us, The Dapp List’s Explore module has got community governance at its core, where the community hunt & vote for dapps, and based on the outcome, dapps get listed.

Generally, with other mainstream platforms, all this happens under central authority, & many a times fraud and scam dapps make it to the listing and thus depleting the user experience.

Our primary focus is to make the ecosystem safe for novice users to explore & engage with dapps.

Additionally, we’ve got Buidl (incubator & launchpad) launching in this quarter.
Invest (a bridge between users, devs & investors) launching in Q4 this year.

3) Can you provide an overview of how The Dapplist are being used — and will be used in the future — also, are holders able to stake and earn?

The Dapp List will be used by users, devs & investors to interact with each other. For this, we are building 3 different products inside The Dapp List ecosystem:

Explore - Decentralized App Store powered by Community Governance to provided users a safe space to explore dapps.

Buidl - Incubator & Launchpad for devs to take their idea to the next level & turn it into a successful project.

Invest - Bridge between devs & investors to fund early projects & drive capital to the ecosystem.

Holders can use our native token for:

- Curating dapps & getting rewards in return with reputation + tokens. Reputation will be used to unlock levels & mint NFTs. Tokens can be used to provide LP, Stake LP token & then Hunt / Vote to win premium rewards on top of staking rewards.

- Staking - Community members can stake LP tokens to earn rewards. Further, they can Hunt & Vote to maximize the rewards.

- Token as a fee - We'll have different opportunities to market on our platform for the listed dapps. They will have the choice to pay to in stables or pay with $WISE to unlock discounts. Token flows back into our reserves & further adding more power to the product.

- NFT minting - NFT that represents your reputation can be minted while paying through $WISE. NFT provides you premium rewards to hunt & vote, take part in governance & support early projects. Also, NFT represents your social status on-chain.

- Governance - $WISE token will be used to take part in governance & showcase your governance power in The Dapp List.

4) How will the experience and background of your team affect the success of your project?

Our founding team holds experience in the blockchain industry which helps us in managing and solving challenges in easy ways.

Our senior management like community, operations and marketing team is formed of skilled champs from Web2 with deep interest in Web3 empower us to succeed.

Myself, Nirbhik Jangid - Founder & CEO at @thedapplist, prev. Community & Growth at Polygon (Matic). While working at Matic, grew community from 58 members to 30k, advised & supported 40+ dapps with marketing & content planning, organized 100+ hackathons within a span of 1.5 years in India, and several other things on the marketing & growth side. Before joining Polygon, I was leading a digital lab for a Branding & Design agency.

Sayli Patil - Co-founder & Tech Lead at The Dapp List and she takes care of tech + product at large. Prev. Blockchain Dev at Polygon. Also, she is an open-source contributor to protocols like WalletConnect.

Token supply - 200,000,000 (ERC20) | Ticker - $WISE
Seed Allocation: 7.42% | Vesting: 10% on listing, linear vesting for over 24 months.
Private Sale Allocation: 10.19% | Vesting: 12.5% on listing, linear vesting for over 18 months.
Strategic Sale Allocation: 2.73% | Vesting: 12.5% on listing, linear vesting for over 18 months.
Public Sale Allocation: 1.43% | Vesting: 100% unlock on listing.
Retroactive Mining: 0.5% | Vesting: 100% unlock on listing.
Mining: 29.5% | Vesting: Weekly reward distribution over 4 years.
Marketing: 10% | Vesting: 3 month cliff, quarterly vested over 2 years.
Reserves: 18% | Vesting: 20% at listing, 2 months cliff, rest quarterly vested over 2 years.

6) How long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from The Dapp list?

Our V1 was live for more than 8 months where 115 applications were hunted and recently we’ve launched our V2 of Explore, which is accessible at v2.thedapplist.com. As of today, we've 158 applications hunted on our platform.

1)Your project is very important but it needs a large user traffic to be sustainable over time What marketing strategies do you have planned to increase the validity of your brand?

Yes, our project would need large user traffic, and to achieve this we have certain plans in place :

- Building community of Curators, which is alredy in progress - they're keeping scams away from the platform & building trust in the ecosystem. This will drive users to the Web3 ecosystem in a safe way.
- Educating new users through content. Providing the new users with content to learn about Web3, Blockchain & Crypto at large.
- Providing existing users with content to read about different niche & dapps.
- Building community in different regions through our Knights program.

Ecosystem is being hurt by scams & rug pulls over the year, and that keeps a large number of users away from the ecosystem.
Community curation powered with reputation & rewards, incentivized to keep platform clean & away from scams / rugs.

Users who are not in Crypto, fear to get in it. Building trust again will help us drive more adoption.

Buidl module helps us to onboard more devs / products to web3.

Invest, connects the users from explore, devs form buidl & investors from invest module. Bringing the three major key stakeholders at one place.

3)A question about #WISE token, adoption of token to the ecosystem is one of the good things to increase its usability and spend, so what role does #WISE token play to the ecosystem?

Community is very important for us. And, that's the reason our Community is part of the product as well. Explore is powered by Community Curation / Governance. Hence, Community is playing very major role in our journey.

5)STAKING is very important for every project to attract users. So does The Dapp List have staking program? If yes, how can we stake your token? Is these any requirement for users?

Yes, definitely. As mentioned earlier, we'll have LP staking program to reward our token holders & on top of that, if any Staker curate dapps - they'll earn approx 2x of the curation rewards apart from staking & trading fees.

Regarding the value of a project, we have a different take on it. We believe in community empowerment, and end of the day it truly is the community that decides the value of the product. For devs especially we are bringing partnerships and integrations that will help then get immense support right from the start.

I’ve been part of the web3 ecosystem since 2017 & in 2018 I joined Matic which is now Polygon. This journey gave me inspiration & motivation to build The Dapp List and bring more adoption to Web3.
