Twelve Legions is a turn-based strategy game in which characters are represented by unique NFTs on a blockchain system.

Q1. Can you give a brief explanation about '12 Legions' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Gaming space?

Ben Lee:
Thank you for this question. Let me introduce about our project.

You know, when I was a kid, I loved playing games, especially strategy games (Settlers IV, Cossacks, Heroes of Might and Magic III, Age of Empires)

I have a dream of making my own game, and I did it 16 years ago, a web version of the 12 Legions game, but I still feel I'm missing something, one big question that remains in my mind is how to strike a balance between joyful & also let users earn a real valuable prize.

And then, I learned about crypto and NFT, and I feel it opened a new horizon and made my dream come true. So I decided to REMAKE 12 Legions and bring it to the community again. More than just a game, this is a metaverse where strategy & RPG game lovers start their adventure and earn together.

To be more specific, 12 Legions is a turn-based strategy game in which characters are represented by unique NFTs on the blockchain system.

12 Legions represents 12 Lands in the game. We want to create an open world, with fantasy lands, where players can become Lords, ruling their lands. Make rules, resources mine, trading, recruit troops, summon Heroes, and of course, explore & conquer new lands.

With Blockchain and NFT technology, we will make in-game rewards worthy with users’ efforts and make everything more transparent and fair.

In the 1st release, there will be 03 classes WARRIOR, ARCHER and CLERIC, 03 more will come shortly in the next update. We also have plans for more evolved classes in the future. Each character in the game has its appearance, attributes and characteristics. On the on-chain system, they are represented as NFTs and cannot be tampered with. Players will need to choose the correct game characters and equipment for the gameplay in order to win and earn tokens.

Q2. So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other projects?

Ben Lee:
You know, nowadays, there are too many NFT ‘Play-to-Earn’ games in the market and most of them don’t have a good balance between entertainment and earning. So we think the most important thing of the NFT game is the in-game economy, this is the 1st priority that we focus on.

We are confident that our game can combine two factors: play for fun and play to earn.
In addition, our game has linked gate technology and smart contract optimization so players can easily connect the wallet to the server, claim tokens, or exchange with a minimum gas fee.

Moreover, we are proud of an in-house team, including many talented members with lots of experience. Our team knows exactly what to do best for game players.

There are some features of our game:
World map: A big map with Twelves lands. We want to create an open world, with fantasy lands, where players can become Lords, rule their lands, make rules, resources mine, trading, recruit troops, summon Heroes, and of course, explore & conquer new lands.

Village & Clans: Help players create their clan and get more resources by occupying, adding friends, and playing together. More interactions among players will help 12 Legions become a REAL Metaverse game.

Arena Mode (PvP): This mode allows players to defeat the other's Heroes. By joining the Tournament that estimates open monthly, players can bring back a very good price and benefit.

When is the game going to be launch?

Ben Lee:
We have finished the test version already. After IDO on Dec 3rd, we will publish the test version for community to experience it. And then we will continue to improve it and release the main version in December.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Ben Lee:
Let me introduce myself a little bit. I’m Loi, you can also call me Ben. I’m CEO and Founder of the 12 Legions project. My background is IT engineer and I’ve worked over 18yrs in this industry.

I was lucky to meet Mr. Andy here, a person who wholeheartedly supported me while laying the first bricks for the project. With Andy’s help, I am strongly confident about our Roadmap of this project. Please introduce yourself, Andy.

I am Andy Tran - CTO/Co-founder of 12 Legions. My background is Database & Backend systems.

I have 16 years of experience in the Software Development industry as Senior/Principal/Team Leader/Solution Architect/CTO working on large-scale systems on several domains such as Blockchain, IoT, AI, Big data, Cloud Management, Banking,...etc..

Q4. Now Share with us about your Native token, What are some of the utilities of $CTL Token & $POM Token in Your Gameplay? And if possible share with us the Tokenomics of those

Andy Tran:
There are two basic tokens in the 12 Legions:
. $CTL (Chaos of Twelve Legions token) - This is the token for project management and system development.
. $POM (Piece of Material) - This is the in-game token. POM will be automatically minted from the game system to reward players. We will set the limit for POM after releasing the main version of the game system.

Our token metrics are for CTL.
The max supply for CTL is 220.000.000. We have 3 rounds for fundraising, including Seed Round, Private Round and Public Round. We only raise sufficient funds to develop our project and staff because we do not want to waste investors’ money and time.

Q5. So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from 12 Legions? If possible could you please share a road map with us?

Ben Lee:
We started working at the beginning of 2021, and the project has almost finished the 1st phase of development. But the gameplay is based on the version of 12 Legions that we’d built 16 years ago.

Recently, we have just finished the rounds of fundraising. We're so glad to announce that 12 Legions has successfully raised nearly 1 million USD in less than a week from many big investors such as Kardia Ventures, AlphaTrue, Starpunk,...

The IDO date for CTL tokens is December 3, 2021. IDO price is 1 CTL = $0.025. Game Starter, Starter, and Starpunk are three IDO platforms. On December 4th, a portion of the IDO funds will be used to create liquidity for the fair-launching. This will create investment opportunities for small investors.

Besides that, we have strategic partnerships with the following investment funds such as: Lavender Capital, Alpha Moon Capital, Traveler Capital, DCI Capital, Halving Capital, Lambo Capital. And other important partnerships with GameStarter, Kardia Ventures, Kenzo Ventures, Kyros Ventures, X99 Ventures, Hafen Ventures. They are all famous VCs in the crypto industry.

In addition, we have cooperated with many partners with a large community. With the support and experience of these partners, 12 Legions will have more manpower and resources to reach more gamers or crypto investors and achieve new milestones in the future. They will support us in both technology and marketing.

Besides that, we already have the game in the testing stage. The marketplace and server system is ready for testing on a limited scale (over 5k -10k users). And in December, the last month of this year, you guys can expect an alpha test very soon.

But some notable features we can note as follows:
- Completing infrastructure, ready to receive a large number of users. Right now, we're aiming for 200k Daily Active Users (DAUs)
- Adding PVP and Tournament mode so that players can do more challenges and interact better with friends
- Adding more Hero classes, more skills (> 240 skills) for users to combine and choose
- Adding more NFT items, balance item stats and Heroes.

Our project will have a long term plan so that we can improve our game day by day to bring the best to users. Our purpose is to be one of the pioneers of Metaverse that have the real product for our community.

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

Q1)As I can see in the 12 Legions ecosystem there are two tokens: $CTL and $POM, what are the differences between these two tokens, are they supposed to work individually or together? and why did you decide to create both?

Ben Lee:
As mentioned, $CTL (Chaos of Twelve Legions token) is the token for project management and system development. Players need at the minimum 3 heroes to play the game. Then, $CTL is used to buy Scroll/Blueprint or Heroes/Items in the Marketplace. Scrolls are used to summon Heroes, Blueprints are used to craft Items.

While $POM (Piece of Material) is the in-game token. POM will be automatically minted from the game system to reward players. Players might need to keep $POM for staking in resource mines for mining Materials - Which will be used for crafting items.

In addition, these two tokens are supposed to work together since we have many features requiring both of them. For example: Both $CTL & $POM are used for soul transmission to create another NFT (Hero) or upgrade Items.

After researching and accumulating data from a number of GameFi projects, we discovered that separating in-game tokens for rewards and token management will make game balance easier for creators and also reduce inflation. The different token flows between CTL and POM will assist the parameters become less intertwined, making the computation simpler and more precise. So we decided to create two mutual tokens instead of just one.

Q2)What is the benefit of Blockchain games over non-blockchain games? Why should anyone choose the "12Legions" platform? What are Your next strategies to add value in terms of user growth & what applications does "12 Legions" plan to integrate to expand its ecosystem?

Ben Lee:
Blockchain games will open opportunities for gamers to play for fun and earn profit. Not only gamers but also investors or stakeholders have a chance to invest in potential projects and share the revenue.
If you’re a gamer, you’re in the right place as our project brings various entertainment values. We cannot wait for you to explore 12 Legions!.

We are working on a lot of cool features for every user to monetize & have fun in the 12 Legions ecosystem. Here’s the 03 features that differentiate 12 Legion from its competitors:

1/ MarketPlace - The renting feature will be included in MarketPlace. Non-players can purchase and own Heroes that later can be rented out for money. It’ll usually be a small fee to rent Heroes instead of buying them. This feature allows small investors to rent Heroes to try out the game.

2/ Tournament - Allows players to bet on potential teams or players to make profits.

3/ Invest to become the landowner (Lord) and focus on businesses like tax collecting, and gain more in-game resources from other players in their land.

And one more thing is we have the real working game. Players can experience it very soon.

We have a long-term plan for marketing to expand the community such as AMA activities, contacting KOLs, writing articles on crypto news channels, etc.

As for products, we have completed versions on Android, IOS, Window, and MacOS. Users can experience 12 Legions with a mid-range device because the product has been optimized very effectively.

Q3) There are 6 powerful classes that dominate 12 Legions, only 3 of which have been published and 3 of which remain "coming soon". Well, does that mean there are additional "storylines" and "games"? Will PLOTS’' come in the near future?

Ben Lee:
Yes, Each Heroes has their own story, and special skill for the user to combine in many different ways in battle, even mining resources.

We had a plan to release more classes and evolve from 06 base classes. So, six Heroes classes is just for beginning, more will come after.

We also have a plan to finish a story about both 6 classes. Let's wait for the official announcement about the 3 remaining classes.

4)12Legions is an NFT blockchain game, most of the NFT games only focus on profit with P2E, because this is one of the main attractions of blockchain games. So, is #CTL more focused on the player experience on and off the game to create a balance between playing and winning?

Ben Lee:
In recent times, many projects promise to be "play-to-earn" but are simply "click-to-earn" games with little entertainment value. We are game creators and we aim to provide the community an actual gaming project. Users may utilize the blockchain platform for more than just financial transactions; they can also play games with various entertainment components.

12 Legions game system includes many detailed parameters and logic. This will pique the curiosity and desire to conquer the game enthusiasts. From here they will become long-term investors of the project. This would be better for the long-term growth of the 12 Legions, rather than just focusing on short-term speculators who joined for financial purposes only.

We will do our best to ensure that 12 Legions players enjoy both the right financial returns and great gaming experiences.

1)Do you have AUDIT certificates, or are you working to AUDIT your project, to make it more secure and reliable???

Ben Lee:
We understand that there are many scam projects that rely on hidden functions in smart contracts, so everyone is interested in Audit.

We have connected with many strong companies such as Certik Audit; Techrate, etc. Everything is ready now to bring transparency into our project to serve our community.

Besides the main audit units, we’ve used another 3rd party to double-check on our system like Detectify, K6, JMeter, SonarQube, etc.

We will ensure that users of 12 Legions feel secure when investing.

2) Is your platform suitable for Crypto beginners? ? Or does it only appeal to professional users??

Ben Lee:
All people are welcome to 12 Legions. We have many plans to support our users can understand about the projects and enjoin the game easily.

First, we plan to integrate multi-language into the game for easy for users read and play (will come very soon in the next update).

12 Legions has a very friendly UI. That helps people can use all the feature very simply.

We partner with many KOLs, Youtubers to do game reviews in many different languages. People can follow them to understand more about 12 Legions.

We have many CMs on 12 Legions' channels and groups to support users.

So I think everyone can join 12 Legions even the newbie in crypto.

3) Do you have any Coin Burn / BuyBack systems or any Token Burn plans to increase the value of Token & attract Investors to invest?

Ben Lee:
Yes, of course, we have. We have a built-in monitoring system that measures the growth of in-game Token. In that way, we can adjust the automatic burning mechanism anytime to avoid inflation.

There are 3 main ways to burn in-game tokens:
1/. Staking heroes to the resources mine by using POM, this feature will help players gain in-game Materials in return.
2/. Breeding by using a combination of Hero A & Hero B to create new NFT Hero by using governance token $CTL & in-game token $POM
3/. Crafting/ Equipment by using $POM & in-game Materials.

Our goal is to aim for a balanced ecosystem between earning and burning tokens.
