1) Can you introduce yourself?
Nick Cook:
Yes of course. My name is Nick Cook. I am the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of 8V.com. I am responsible for the operations of 8V in Europe and other English-speaking markets. Before joining 8V, I had over 4 years working experience in the crypto, fintech and blockchain space. Apart from that, I have worked in the automotive, manufacturing, and aerospace.

If you rotate ‘8’ 90 degrees, you will see a symbol standing for infinity. ‘V’ means value. The name 8V represents our company vision and goal — to provide infinite value to our users.

3) What services does 8V.com provide?
Nick Cook:
We provide trading services such as spot trading, futures trading, and margin trading for over 150 cryptocurrencies. We have a comprehensive range of metaverse coins including the most popular ones such as SAND, MANA, AXS, SUSHI, ALICE and GALA……Moreover, we provide crypto savings products with an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of up to 8%. Compared with the 0.06% national average interest rate for savings accounts, our crypto savings account offers a much higher return…
Many 8V users like our mini-games. Currently, we have 3 games including Lucky Hash, Crash and High Low. Users can earn rewards by guessing the rising or fall of certain types of cryptocurrencies……
We will continue to develop a variety of services on our platform. Our job is to help users get closer and closer to the Metaverse in the long term and integrate services from some of our other projects.

The majority of our users are based in Asia currently. We have many users from Turkey, Brazil, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and the Philippines. However, we are actively expanding our customer base worldwide.

5) Where do you envisage the most crypto users coming from?
Nick Cook:
The crypto industry has grown rapidly in the last few years. The global crypto market cap is $1.8 trillion (USD). The global cryptocurrency market growth in the US alone is expected to reach $32.42 billion in 2027. Apart from US and EU, we have observed great potential in some areas such as Turkey, Nigeria, South America, and India.

6) What are the advantages of 8V.com?
Nick Cook:
We are committed to providing a professional, intelligent, convenient, and innovative online trading platform for users worldwide. Apart from the functions I have mentioned already, 8V.com is part of a much bigger international group of companies. Within the group we also have iGaming and NFT platforms. We plan to integrate these projects into 8V.com in the future, which will create a strong unique selling points for us to succeed in this competitive industry.

7) What achievements 8V.com have achieved so far?
Nick Cook:
First of all, we have launched our applications on App Store and Google Play. Users can easily find us and download 8V with a single click. Secondly, we have reached 150,000 user registration in 4 months. The growth rate is fast, and it is a huge milestone for us. Regarding business partnerships, we have reached agreements with many start-up projects to list their coins on our platform. They all have great potential…To encourage the young generation, we work with Surrey University to establish ‘Blockchain Academy’. Students can propose innovative blockchain projects and the winner can earn 10,000 pounds. The money will be used in their start-up business. Talents are very critical in the crypto industry. We hope that we can attract young people to join us and build an amazing future world together.

8) What are the ultimate goals of 8V.com?
Nick Cook:
Our goal is to become a top 10 global exchanges in the next 5 years. The ultimate goals are to create an 8V Metaverse and launch our own public chain.

9) What are the future plans of 8V.com?
Nick Cook:
We are now actively expanding our services and product ranges. We are looking to increase the number of our OTC providers, and the number of cryptocurrencies on our platform. We work hard on regulations. We already have the Money Services Business (MSB) License issued by Canada and the US, and we are in the progress of applying for crypto licenses in other jurisdictions as well. In general, we aim to grow in both Asia and West markets. Within a year, 8V will integrate Metaverse games, issue our own tokens, and issue our own crypto cards.

Is your Project A COMMUNITY only for English speaking an few countries or for users not of other languages?
Nick Cook:
No, in actual fact English is currently our smallest langugae. the majority of our user base is currently in Southern Asia

3) Lavana2016:
Being a digital asset exchange, security is a fundamental pillar, as trust is very important for traders. So, how does 8V guarantee its users that their investments and assets are safe and supported by the platform’s protocol? What technology does 8V have? Has 8V been audited?
Nick Cook:
Great question. Security is at the centre of all we do. We recently paid for a security audit which was very successful. However we will always continue to build on our security as it’s funadamantal for our users to trust us!
4) Kasmir:
IS This Your project only for elite investors, How about others with small funds, Is it open to everyone?
Nick Cook:
Good question. The answer is that 8V is for everone. It doesn’t matter if you are an institution or individual. Our minimum trade size is 10 USD. We want to appeal to everyone!
5) Summer:
In most exchanges, KYC is a crucial part to unlock the rest of the features. In using and transacting with 8VGlobal, do we have to complete any KYC or verification process?
Nick Cook:
Another great question. Currently our KYC is very light touch, although we will be building further KYC through the next 2 quarters. Even then we will try and keep this to a minimum
6) Its Elvis Ford:
What are the applications currently being developed by 8V ? Which one do you expect will grow? What products will be launched? And what do you want to achieve by the end of this year?
Nick Cook:
We’re currently working on a launchpad product for listing new coins which is coming along nicely. We also have an NFT platforms aimed at charities called Maxity.io as we move forward we can use that underlying technology to build in NFTs to 8V
7) Justin:
How will you and your team manage this project during the current epidemic? Can you explain your team’s context?
Nick Cook:
Our team is currently based across multiple offices and locations. We have offices in Taiwan, Canada, Malaysia, London and Malta. Based on this we normally have teams covering most timezones. This works really well for us, especially in terms of providing user support
