AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X BITGET

Q4: Can you share with us your domestic and global expansion plans?

Samuel:
We are working with KOLs across the world to increase our presence and make Bitget the leading crypto exchange.

To make this possible we are hiring seasoned local talents and investing into community building. Couple of months back we hired multiple teams across All continents and regions (Africa, Singapore, USA, Germany, France, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, etc) to grow our presence and make Bitget the leading global exchange and one stop for all the needs of users.

We are currently more than 600 teammates and we expect to grow beyond 1500 within this year. The management team firmly believes that to grow business we need the best talent and we are ready to pay the price/overpay for the best talent.

Q5: You mentioned you are at top in copy trading volume. Could you please explain to our community what is copy trading and how can they benefit from it?

Samuel:

Copy trading refers to the trading that investors copy or follow other investors (commonly known as professional traders/ experts) to have the same positions as the experts they are copying. For investors, copy trading is easy to operate and transactions can be carried out automatically and instantly.

Copy trading was born out of mirror trading in 2005. Initially, investors shared their trading history, allowing others to copy their trading strategies. This scenario formed a social trading network. As the financial market fluctuates intensely, lots of trading platforms start to enter this field to realize second-speed copy trading by developing software systems.

Copy trading is focused on short-term trading, especially for day trading and swing trading strategies. Therefore, copy trading can apply to the Foreign Exchange Market as well as the Crypto Market.

Q1:Bitget’s goal is to provide an easy-to-use, simple and transparent trading experience for all its users, while of course maximizing profits as much as possible. So why is Copy Trading one of the most emphasized features on your platform? Do you carry out events of this type?

Samuel:
Not everyone has the desired trading knowledge to trade derivatives markets. I’m sure you’ll relate to this.

We wanted to make derivative trading accessible and easy for everyone. So with our Copy trading feature one can trade in derivatives markets by few clicks without having any knowledge for the same.

Our traders have earned over US$100M in total income, while our followers have collectively made over US$120M. Thanks to its user-friendly design, transparency, and a ‘win-win’ trading environment between traders and followers, Bitget has become the world’s largest digital copy trading platform in terms of scale

Q2:Does it required for $BITGET users to complete or passed the KYC process? Do you have restrictions that are similar to other top exchanges like as Binance, like limits on withdrawal amounts for clients who haven’t completed KYC? If so, could you inform us about the limitations?

Samuel:
KYC is not mandatory but if you verify yourself you have a higher withdrawal limit.
Total Daily Withdrawal Limit：
Users without ID Verification：Value up to 20 BTC
Users with ID Verification：Value up to 200 BTC

We encourage our users to get KYC done as this helps them to better protect their exchange account. For example if you lose your mobile which has the 2fa in it, we can easily verify if you are the account holder if you have done KYC and assist you quickly and get the challenges resolved

Q3:How does #BitGetGlobal encourages it’s users to trade responsibly and mindfully with the help of risk management strategies and it’s applied functionalities? Also, why should I choose Bitget’s USDT-Margined Futures? What’s so different about it?

Samuel:
We have multiple tools and resources at disposal for our traders. They can set stop loss, take profit and various other types of orders to better manage their positions.

Also we host multiple training events where we train our community on risk management and how they can use Bitget’s features to better manage their trades and positions

A USDT-Margined Contract uses USDT as margin for position opening and settling P&L. Bitget is the first derivatives exchange in the industry to support USDC as a margin.

Bitget launched the first USDT-margined futures product in the crypto industry, and became the first trading platform in the world to have both USDT-margined and coin-margined futures by April 2021.

Q4:What is your top priority for 2022? Can you and your team members share a bit about the strategy that will implement in the near future? What makes the team feel confident to win in the long run ?

We are investing heavily into expanding our business operations. At a time when most of the exchanges are laying off, we are growing and still hiring and intend to hire 1000+ people this year.

We want to provide opportunity to people from all over the world to be a part of this revolution and invest into the future which is crypto currencies

5) Adoption is a challenge for any blockchain project, especially in this sensitive period of the entire market when many blockchain projects die because only a few are using their platform. What is your team’s strategy and vision on this issue?

Samuel:
First of all, for a project to be listed on our exchange, we must have done our feasibility studies to know the quality of the project.

The BGB which is our native token can also be used in voting on our platform for a project to the listed. the more the vote a project gains the likelihood of it being listed on our excahange
