AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X COLIZEUM
Colizeum is a virtual Play to Earn driven environment that, similar to Steam, hosts various games and other applications, thereby creating the general outline of a user funnel. Colizeum offers connectivity to the blockchain based infrastructure for (a) Play-to-Earn, (b) Prediction Markets, (c) Tokenized Tournaments, (d) Attention Marketplace, all as a service, all with one-click deploy, all on-chain and transparent, designed to empower influencers and game developers to fully benefit from the value they generate without middlemen, uncertainties and opaque payout schemes. Colizeum empowers game developers to build and benefit from blockchain games simpler than ever before with easy to use Colizeum SDK.
We hosted an AMA session with Colizeum on 24th February.
Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Edgars, co-founder of Colizeum was the guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of Colizeum.

Segment 1️⃣: Introduction
.
Ramsy:
Hello everyone 👋 and welcome to the Crypto Miners AMA session With Colizeum
To help us learn more about the featured project of this AMA session, we are lucky to be joined By Mr Edgars
Edgars Vecozolins:
Hey all Crypto Miners 🙂 Happy to be here
Ramsy:
Hello there 👋
Welcome here
Thanks for bringing Us Colizeum ❤️
Edgars Vecozolins:
Thanks for having me here, excited to share what we are doing with Colizeum 🙂
Ramsy:
I'm pretty sure that our Community is very much excited to learn more about Colizeum ✌️
So let's get started 🚀
First of all Please give us a brief explanation about 'Colizeum' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?
Edgars Vecozolins:
The idea of COLIZEUM originated when we, as game developers, were facing the never-ending and unjustified difficulties while launching mobile games. The development process was not so challenging as dealing with app stores, entering different markets, and monetizing developed games.
The marketplace policies could change so abruptly that developers' marketing and revenue plans could change in one day. It all did not look sustainable and convincing.
Also, the unmonetizable Tier 3 markets (which are 3x bigger than Tier 1 and Tier 2 altogether) combined with the emerging Play-To-Earn model lead to the decision to figure a solution to game developer problems.
Colizeum itself is a whole blockchain Play To Earn ecosystem for both — the players and developers
It’s a frictionless shortcut for mobile game developers to implement tokenized game modes and Play-To-Earn economy without prior knowledge in blockchain development.
Game developers will be able to add tokenized game mode monetization on top of their existing (traditional) monetization or build blockchain native games — with few lines of code. And players will have the opportunity to earn from their favourite games + have all the freedom to jump from one game to another without buying each game tokens
Ramsy:
Thanks edgars for this great start about Colizeum 👌
Now let's see our second question from this segment...
Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?
Edgars Vecozolins:
First of all, we focusing on the mobile game market — players & developers.Other projects are creating individual games or metaverses. We do have competitors, of course, but we haven’t seen the “all-in-one” package that is super easy to use.
Our “all-in-one” dApp package (SDK) and our dual-token economy takes care of the blockchain part, so that game developers can focus only on the game development.
Another crucial difference is that players will only need one entry ticket to all the games with our “Player Card” NFT.
Also, since we have a unified economy that will be used across all games, players won’t need to buy each game token.
Ramsy:
Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?
Edgars Vecozolins:
It is safe to say that without our 8+ years of experience in mobile game development, Colizeum wouldn’t have been born 🙂We know the problems that hundreds of thousands of game developers are facing each day.
Also, the blockchain developer team has been in this space since the beginning and know the best way to develop the technical part of Colizeum.
In the Colizeum team we have strong business minds with crazy amount of experience building and managing businesses, that means there will be no chaos in terms of project management, business decisions — from this everyone wins, especially the game developers and players.
Right now we are 35+ strong team of game & blockchain developers, 3D & concept artist, game designers, marketing specialists, etc. 🙂
Ramsy:
4) Now Share us about your Native tokens, What are the some of utlities of $ZEUM in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics
Edgars Vecozolins:
Every aspect of Colizeum is tied together with it’s economy, ever-increasing token demand without new investor inflow. This aspect is important for any healthy economy. As in every sustainable Play-To-Earn economy there is always an entry ticket. For Colizeum players will need to acquire “Player Card” — an NFT. One card will give the player an access to every game inside the ecosystem.
Every new player which comes to Colizeum is also bringing his attention which has monetization potential for game developers
But in order for game developers being able to monetize this new player attention they have to have $ZEUM stake in platform.
In simple words this translates to — every new player in platform is increasing internal demand for $ZEUM through developers
Ramsy:
Let's move to our last question from this segment
Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Colizeum? If possible could you please share road map with us.
Edgars Vecozolins:
Colizeum SDK has been in development for more than 7 months already. We started even before we had the website. The development still is in the process and always will be for some parts of the Colizeum — always improving 🙂As for the future..
IDO roadmap:
1. Infinite Launch - Feb 28th
2. GameStarter - March 3rd
3. TrustPad - March 8thAfter IDO the next big milestone is the NFT drop. We will do a single-edition NFT drop whose holders will actually be rulers of the whole ecosystem.
Here are the things we have done and are currently working on in Development department:
December:
* Infrastructure planning and development — Always ongoing
* Smart Contract scaffolding — DONEJanuary:
* Developer staking smart contract development — DONE
* First season smart contract development — 90% DONE

* Blockchain task automation — 80% DONEResearch and planning began already in September
We are up to the speed 🙂 Development is going smoothly right now
Ramsy:
Thanks Edgars for this well detailed introduction about Colizeum:)
And that's the wrap up of our the first part of the AMA session ✅
Let’s now proceed to our Twitter Questions section
i hope you're ready for that!!
Edgars Vecozolins:
I’M READY 😄
Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions
Ramsy:
1) Collaborations and partnerships are some of the most important cornerstones to help improve adoption. Could you please tell us about the current partners, plans for partnerships and what everybody stands to gain from these partnerships?
Edgars Vecozolins:
When we were doing the fundraising rounds, we onboarded only those who could provided value to the project — development and marketing wise.A lot of great advisors have been helping us out from first day.
I would like to take this chance publicly appreciate our partners and collaborators 🙂
As one of the most popular partners I would like to mention Wu Sheng, one of the most popular & most awarded, simply legendary DOTA champion
For NFTs and overall art, we partnered with Marcin Rubinkowski (Concept artist who worked with Netflix’s show Love, Death and Robots, Coldplay, Lil Nas X, etc.),
And also major KOLs that will be helping us to educate communities about gaming marketing and how Colizeum can help to solve existing problems
Couple of contributors to Colizeum are: Deribit, SevenX Ventures, Axia8, LD Capital, Genblock Capital and ZBS Capital, TPS Capital, Momentum6 (Lumen Capital Group), DWeb3, X21, etc. 🙂
oh, forgot to mention that we are also talking with big gaming studios that already want to try out our SDK 🙂
Ramsy:
2) As an investor, I want to know how strong is your project security system? and what benefits will a user have in the years to come when I decide to join the project you are working on right now?
Edgars Vecozolins:
The whole ecosystem is stress-tested in various ways after each update and feature development. Once we will have the SDK Beta ready, we will give it to a security-audit company to be 100% sure everything is good-to-go.Our developers have implemented quality assurance automated testing systems so that there are no human errors while developing smart contracts and the SDK
Ramsy:
3) I have read that the Coliseum is also planning to set up a fund in gaming area to support young players with limited resources or disabilities. So what do you intend with this? How will you identify those who need this support?
Edgars Vecozolins:
Yes, once we grow and reach a stage where we can start to think about helping out others, we are going use our own resources — contacts, funds, knowledge and experience to boost up and coming talanted individual developers/small game studios. As for the players we will always do our best to provide them tools and resources to kickstart their journey for a better life. As for example, free "Player Card" minting, provide resources to become a game developer, etc.
Evaluating them will be the hardest part. Easier with game studios, harder to indetify individual persons.
Ramsy:
4) Colizeum's IDO will be held on 28th Feb at Infinite Launch. Can you give us more IDO public details? What will be the requirements we should have in order to qualify to participate in the IDO? What will be the minimum amount and maximum amount that we can contribute on the IDO?
Edgars Vecozolins:
As of right now I can only say two things:
- follow each IDO launchpad and wait for their announcement with the exact details you are looking for. Each launchpad has their own requirements. In most cases you will need to stake their native token from which wil depend your allocation size.- InfiniteLaunch has launched whitelist allocation contest where community members can get $20000 worth of allocation in total 🙂
https://twitter.com/InfiniteLaunch/status/1496771887120199680
Ramsy:
5) I read that your mission is to become the largest blockchain gaming app store. So can you please tell us first how we distinguish Colizeum to other decentralized ecosystem and traditional gaming ecosystem? Does Colizeum takes high transactions fee like others?
Edgars Vecozolins:
I guess partially this question was answered in the previous segment — the differences between us and competitors. Our philosophy about becoming the largest blockchain gaming appstore starts with simple thing — provide the easiest way to develop blockchain games, so that game developers doesn't have to even think about researching and hiring blockchain developers.
Also we have done the economy development part which is dual token based and unified across all ecosystem. Which provides ultra-low barrier forr players to move across games and doesn't have to use 10 or more tokens.
Traditional gaming ecosystem is ran by high fees, oligopoly and restrictive policies that removes the possibility to monetize Tier 3 markets.
And if game developers cannot monetize Tier 3 markets, that means Tier 3 markets doesn't get all the cool stuff that Tier 1&2 market gamers has. They are simply left out.
Other decentralized ecosystems mainly focuses on single game development and their own tokens or metaverses.
We are the platform which provides tools to monetize all players (in tradition gaming world developers can monetize only ~3%), to scale the games player base across the whole world, not just Tier 1 & 2 (developed countries).
Tier 3 market has the highest crypto user based, there is a huge opportunity for everyone 🙂
Ramsy:
Thanks for Your Valuable Answers❣
And that's the end of our twitter question segment
Now Moving on to our last segment - Live Q&A
Shall We Go mate?
Edgars Vecozolins:
Sure, lets go 🙂
Ramsy:
Let’s go,
Segment 3️⃣: Live QnA
(In this segment group was opened for 60 seconds and Miners sent hundreds of questions. Guest choose some best to answer)
1)Chinzo Aydin:
Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is your project also like this? If not can u tell us, What makes your project different from other projects?
Edgars Vecozolins:
Agree! There are mostly money grab projects out there, which is very sad!As I already explained, we have been developing the product for 7 months already, even before we started raising funds.
Also, we 35+ large experienced team that know what they are doing. Most of the other projects doesn’t have a single developer on their team. They raising funds first, building team second. And to build a team for gaming project takes a loooot of time. It took more than 2 years to have the all-star team we have 🙂
2) 🔥🔥🔥🔥👉👉❤️❤️❤️ Boot:
Are your team planning to launch an LP reward program in the future, which will also be followed by the bug bounty program ??Are your team planning to launch an LP reward program in the future, which will also be followed by the bug bounty program ??✔ Is Your project a Global project ?
Is any of the local communities restricted from contributing to the project ?$
Edgars Vecozolins:
We have thought about this and probably will do this a bit later 🙂
3) Sparrow:
So many projects just like to speak about the "long term vision and mission" but what are your short terms objectives? What are you focusing right now?
Edgars Vecozolins:
1. Do a fantastic launch (ID & TGE)
2. Launch our single-edition Player Card NFTs
3. Finish the development for SDK Beta
4. Onboard game developers as much as we can
4) Luka:
Sir,on which network can I get your token?
1) Smart Chain ℹ️
2) Tron ℹ️
3) Etheriam ℹ️
4) Polygon ℹ️
Or any other network?
Please tell me which one of these..
Edgars Vecozolins:
Token is ERC20 based and will be wrapped to BEP20 as well. IDO participants will receive the BEP20 ZEUM token. As for the tech side, we are building on BSC and will add more chains as we progress, ultimately becoming cross-chain 🙂
5) Umana:
On your website you don't mention that you have done any internal or external audit of your smart contract, So, Does #Colizeum Project have plans to apply for audit with Audit platforms like Certik, Techrata and the rest in the nearest future?
Edgars Vecozolins:
Yes, we are planning to do audit for the smart contract and also audit for SDK itself (security audit). Not yet sure which services we will choose, but yeah, we are going to do that 🙂
*This segment ends here*
