1. Could you make a brief introduction about Farmsent? What is your Vision behind the project?
saleh sharif:
Farmsent is a farmer’s blockchain that facilitates food trade and food security globally. Powered by blockchain technology, we provide solutions to the food industry, keeping farmers’ interests in mind.We are creating a better trade model that currently exists in the market, a model that places the farmers at the end of the supply chain rather than just being the early participants in the long unfair structure of the supply chain.
in other words, we are a decentralized marketplace built on blockchain and web3 technology for the farmers to help them sell their own products globally
OUr Vision For Farmsent is simple, feed more people and leave no farmers behind.
Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Unique and great intention 👌
saleh sharif:
thank you
Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Thanks Saleh for the nice start
Let’s see our second question from this segment
2. What are the features of Farmsent that makes it superior and special as other competitors?
saleh sharif:
Compared to traditional competitors who operate in the web2 space and function as regular marketplaces, Farmsent is different in that it utilizes web3 technologies to offer unique features and benefits to both farmers and buyers. These features include NFT bidding, carbon offset programs, credit program for buyers, farmers’ foundation, and fair future contracts.
These features are aimed at creating a more transparent, sustainable, and reliable food supply chain. In addition, by utilizing blockchain and web3, Farmsent is able to provide a level of security and trust that traditional marketplaces cannot match.
Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Moving on…
3. Tell us about how does your technology works? And where are your current presence locations?
saleh sharif:
Farmsent is a decentralized marketplace built on blockchain technology with web3 features. Our platform enables farmers to connect directly with buyers, eliminating middlemen and ensuring fair prices for both parties. Our platform uses smart contract automation to ensure that transactions are secure, transparent, and immutable. NFT which we are also using as proof of ownership of the products and bidding on products as well.We also offer a credit program for buyers, providing them with the ability to purchase goods on credit and pay later. Our Farmer’s Foundation provides financial assistance and education to farmers, helping them to adopt sustainable farming practices and improve their livelihoods.
Currently, we have a presence in several countries including Indonesia, Zambia, and Colombia as the farming regions and Bahrain, UAE, and Saudi Arabia as the buyer’s regions. And soon we’ll be partnering with farmers in Nigeria and Brazil
Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Impressive 👏
4. Now Share about your token $FARMS, what are its usecases and utilities in Your ecosystem? Also provide with us the tokenomics
saleh sharif:
Considering the issue we are tackling is a global issue, we would like to involve people from all parts of the world in helping us resolve it. One of the ways we are resolving it is through our tokens which enable the community to help the farmers. Our token use cases are Ecosystem Fees,
Commission, Governance, and Security Deposit which we charge the buyers using $FARMS tokensWe have 10 billion in total tokens with 10% of that will be minted. 10% of that is for private, 5% public, 15% team, 5% foundation, 5% advisors, 10% partners, 10% liquidity, 30% reserve, 10% rewards.

We have undergone auditing by industry-leading firms ImmuneBytes and CertiK to ensure the security of our platform.
We have also formed partnerships with leading blockchain companies such as 5Harvest0, Venly.io, Coorest.io and Polytrade to further expand our reach and enhance our platform’s functionality.
In the future, we plan to continue expanding our farmer network and product offerings, as well as launching our NFT called PO, carbon offset program with coorest.io, and Fair Future Contracts, among other exciting developments which will work towards creating a better trade model for the farmers and the entire ecosystem as a whole.

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions
1. How does Farmsent plan to expand its offerings beyond non-perishable products in the future, and what are some of the challenges and opportunities in bringing perishable products onto the blockchain platform?
saleh sharif:
Thank you for the questionWe are committed to offering a better solution that goes beyond non-perishable which does include goods like fruits and vegetables and have given much thought in present that to the market but for the time being as we are still new to the industry and perishables require a lot of care in logistics and warehousing we would first focus on the non-perishables side of things and perfect the supply chain completely and then jump to perishable.
The challenges are definitely shelf life and everyone has to work around the speed of delivery and non-perishables give us more room to improve before we move on.
Bringing perishable products onto a blockchain platform can offer several benefits, such as increased transparency, traceability, and trust in the supply chain. Some of the challenges in doing so could include the need for robust temperature monitoring systems, ensuring data accuracy and privacy, and addressing any regulatory hurdles.
Hope that answers your question
Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Let’s move to the next question
2. How does the farmer’s blockchain verify and track the authenticity of the data being recorded on the blockchain, and what measures are in place to prevent fraud or tampering?
saleh sharif:
Thank you for the questionWe have a dedicated team in each region where we operate, working closely with local farmers to ensure that everything proceeds smoothly. Our team collaborates directly with the farmers to ensure that all processes are carried out effectively and efficiently.
One of our key features is ownership verification, which is accomplished through the use of NFTs. Each person involved in the supply chain can verify the NFT and assess whether the previous handler of the product did a good job or not. This helps to prevent tampering and ensure the authenticity of the product at every step of the supply chain.
hope this answers your question
Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
That’s the wind up of our twitter segment
Now Moving on to our last segment — Live Q&A
Shall we mate?
saleh sharif:
yes pleaselets do it
Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Lets go then
Segment 3️⃣: Live QnA
(In this segment group was opened for 60 seconds and Miners sent hundreds of questions. Guest choose some best to answer)
1) Muneeb:
What crops are available to buy and sell in farmsent ecosystem at the moment? Which crops will be added in this year?
saleh sharif:
for the time being, we are only focusing on non-perishable products such as rice, wheat, grains, pulses, coffee, tea, corn, etc and the next year we plan to include fertilizers in our marketplace as we see a great shortage of it around the world and the farmers we are working with in great need of it.
2) Chukky ✨:
If I may ask, why did Farmsent choose Agriculture over other predominant prospective industries like oil, real estate or hospitality?
How can local farmers get involved with Farmsent and what benefits do they get?
saleh sharif:
There are many reasons why we chose agriculture as the industry hasn’t seen any innovation for centuries. The potential for growth and innovation in the sector, and the desire to promote sustainable and ethical practices in agriculture is huge, from supply chain to management to local logistics and agronomy, there is a lot of room to improve.
Regarding how local farmers can get involved with Farmsent, they can reach out to Farmsent’s local team in the countries we are present in or work with cooperatives in those countries which we will be announcing soon, to learn more about the process of joining the platform.
The main benefit would be by using Farmsent, local farmers can reach a wider market beyond their local community, which can help them increase sales and revenue.
Increased transparency: Farmsent provides transparency in the supply chain, which can help farmers demonstrate the quality and authenticity of their products to potential buyers.Fair pricing: Farmsent aims to provide fair pricing to farmers, which can help them receive a fair income for their product
Support for sustainable practices: Farmsent promotes sustainable practices in agriculture, which can help farmers reduce their environmental impact and improve the long-term viability of their farms.Access to financing: Farmsent may provide access to financing for farmers, which can help them invest in their farms and expand their operations.Overall, local farmers can benefit from using Farmsent by gaining access to a wider market, improving transparency, receiving fair pricing, and accessing support for sustainable practices and financing.
its a bit long but i hope that answers your question
3) Aqib Rao:
What will be the role of NFTs in Farmsent platform and how we can use them in farmsent?
saleh sharif:
NFTs play a crucial role in the ownership verification of agricultural products. Each NFT represents a unique asset, such as a specific batch of produce, and is stored on a blockchain. By linking the NFT to the asset, Farmsent can ensure the authenticity and provenance of the product at each step of the supply chain.Farmers can use NFTs to track the journey of their products and sell them directly to consumers. we are also using the NFTs to tokenize assets and create new revenue streams for farmers and partnering with 5Harvest0 and other players will help us reach that greatly.
Hope that answers your question
