FOMO Lab is a community driven DeFi project focusing on NFTs, Metaverse applications and Play to Earn GameFi ecosystems. FOMO Lab has expanded its operations to include staking, multi- chain NFT creation and distribution through the Avenue marketplace and a Project IDO Launchpad for NFT, GameFi and DeFi projects. FOMO Lab is a digital asset and metaverse creation studio that prides itself on staying on the edge of trend and helping support new projects with IDOs and product toolkits that push the web 3.0 revolution forward.

We hosted an AMA session with Fomo Lab on 25th April.

Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Pixasso, CEO of Fomo Lab was the guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of Fomo Lab.

Good thanks mate! Very busy here in the Lab with all the developments we have going on. Looking forward to speaking more in detail about everything

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about ‘FOMOLab’ .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Pixasso:
In brief, FOMOlab is a full suite NFT and DEFI ecosystem. As well as working with top tier brands we also cater to the defi community with a range of products such as

- FOMOstake
- FOMOlaunch
- The Avenue market place
- FOMOverse

Great question.. we decided to create FOMOlab just before the hype cycle of NFTs. We pride ourselves on being on “the edge of trend” and we did this before the market was saturated as it has become now

Our CTO Zeno is a wizard and was sending me NFTs way back in 2020. So it was only natural we were among the first to move in the space

Starting out on BSC, we had a marketplace even before Binance themselves & brought Tyson Fury into the space with his first ever NFT. We love to be “first” as his signifies what it means be ahead of the curve.

The name FOMO kind of speaks for itself, we like to be known for creating hype and curated experiences, we feel that is where we thrive the most!

Now let’s see our second question from this segment

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Pixasso:
Humbly speaking we have a number! I will dive into our features 🙂

Ramsy:
Go ahead 👍

Pixasso:
Starting with the Avenue — We began to be multi chain a while ago however as the market gets saturated we have to keep innovating. So with the market place we have been working heavily on SECURITY. We have some pretty groundbreaking tech that we about to introduce in the V3 of the marketplace. Such a revokable NFTs. NFT gets hacked? We can revoke the access in a trust-less manner!

As well as the IP ( intellectual property ) we bring to the space. We have some top tier partners such as Banijay and Comic Con. Can’t say too much on what special drops and partners we will be bringing just yet but you can work out from just those two names they will be world recognised brands

This is a huge USP as only we have access to there brands 🙂

Now lets talk about the DEFI ecosystem

Key word here is UTILITY

What do you normally use a token for?

Do you just hold it?

Do you stake it?

What about ONLY needing that token for a number of key plays

You take your $FOMO over to the staking pool.. you earn passive income. You then take that passive reward and lock it into the launchpad which will give you access to some great projects. You can also take $FOMO over to the avenue and buy EXCLUSIVE NFTs. The most exciting part for me is that you will be able to use FOMO as a currency in our metaverse. True utility and not just something you hold

We call this a circular economy. No burn functions which are a gimmick. Positive pressure from listing fees in FOMO

Positive pressure form locking in tokens into the launchpad tier system

E-commerce within our metaverse gallery. I am trying to keep this concise as possible but we have such a vast array of tech that is ALREADY built. I believe that is what sets us apart for sure!

Ramsy:
Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Pixasso:
I tweeted recently, it is ALL about the team. You could have the best product in the world but the team is behind ensuring it is executed well

We now have over 22 core members not including partners and tech houses

We have a fantastic COO — t.me/blanksea

In the traditional world he took companies from 300K turnover to $100million

He has been crucial in making us a proper business and ensuring we have traditional guidelines in a not so traditional space

Then we have our CTO Zeno. He is a visionary to say the least. Need tech to make sense? Not sure how the world will be in 1,5,10 years? We call him Rainman 😆

& of course there is Khalil Kassam our co founder

The connections and reach in the space are UNREAL. We have access to semi-government and government level entities as well as a vast number of communities and partnerships

The rest of the team and board members are very gifted in their own right such as our IP specialist who is ex SONY, ex Universal and many more

We don’t believe in having one person who can do a million things ( even though sometimes that is what we do ) we believe in having experts in their own verticals

Even our head of art has worked on films such a Transformers , Wimbledon and many more

Of course there is also myself, as CEO I mainly focus on partnerships and ensuring the teams vision is carried out to the best of my ability

Ramsy:
4) Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utlities of $FOMO Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Pixasso:
I think I covered this before but for clarity. You can use $FOMO to stake, access launchpad tiers, buy NFTs on our marketplace, transact within our metaverse

100 million total supply

We will have roughly 2.8 million circulating on launch

It is good to mention we did originally launch on BSC and have over 4600 holders who will be exchanging tokens for the new $FOMO token.

We have kept the supply low as this plays into scarcity dynamics that are pretty useful in the space. We do see projects going the other way with a lot more tokens. However with our “Circular Economy” we believe this supply fits the project and its needs best

Again, we do feel we have some of the most tangible cases for utility in the space

Ramsy:
Let’s move to our last question from this segment

Pixasso:
Ok sweet

Ramsy:
Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from FOMOLab If possible could you please share road map with us.

Pixasso:
So the current project has taken precisely 1 year and 2weeks!

That is why we have our ecosystem built and are upgrading tech as we go along

It has taken a lot of work, many sleepless nights and a huge huge amount of dedication from the team to achieve what we have to date

Plans for the future are looking very bright for FOMOlab. Most projects exhaust the project goals in way less than a year

A year in we have even more to bring everyone here, even more innovation. Partnerships to last us over the next 1–2 years and beyond

We are very realistic with what have achieved to date and where we think we can go over the following months. The best is truly yet to come!

You can expect some huge news articles, huge brand deals & generally some cool stuff as we keep building out our tech!

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

Ramsy:
1)Collaboration and partnerships are one of the cornerstones to making DeFi more widespread. Can you share some of the partnerships you have formed with existing blockchain foundations recently?

Pixasso:
I do believe this was answered in the AMA but it was definitely the need for companies to innovate within the NFT space and we just simply saw the demand and potential before many others

I have to give credit to our CTO ZENO as he is a visionary and he saw this before it was big 🙂

Also partnerships with blockchains

We have partnered with the likes of VELAS , POLYGON & 5ire

We have access to the liked of NEAR, AURORA, LUKSO & many more. I guess you will have to see who we announce next 🙂

Ramsy:
2) I am interested in The Avenue, which is the native multi-chain NFT Marketplace of FOMO Lab. What will be so special in your NFT Marketplace, different from the competition? How will the Avenue work? What can users, especially artists, do with your Marketplace? What can be bought & sold?

Pixasso:
Definitely the IP. Some access we have we know that it is going be highly desired. The avenue will be opening up very soon to allow people to list NFTs in the non curated section

I also gave a sneak peak into the security measures we will be implementing such as revokable NFTs this will be a game changer as the DEFI / Crytpo space is lacking in that sector

To finish the question above. Artists will have a clean user experience and of course have knowledge in the fact they will be listing on a more secure marketplace than the likes of Opensea

Ramsy:
3) “Bringing NFT to the masses” is the emblem FomoLAB is working with. But how have you gone about getting more inexperienced users to be attracted to these assets? What strategies have been used at FomoLAB to universalize their use?

Pixasso:
I think the core part of this is Education. New users undoubtedly need to be taught how and where to even buy ETH or other cryptos.

Our latest drop which I am allowed to talk about is the Mr Bean NFT drop

140 milllion social media followers

There is about to be a huge influx of new entrants to space looking at the $FOMO token and also to use the marketplace

We expect this to be very news worthy

Since we will be utilising non crypto native news channels

I mean.. our first ever news release was Forbes magazine

So you can expect a whole range of Crypto and non crypto news

We genuinely do live up to bringing NFTs to the masses. Very exciting month coming up

Ramsy:
4) Now in crypto the biggest problems are security. In recent days there are many projects that have been hacked that took the user’s assets, so how do you insure the security of your project? Do you have any insurance for this and what are you doing for the security of your platform?

Pixasso:
So we will be undergoing a HACKEN audit in the upcoming days as well as what I mentioned before. We have some tech that no other marketplace or ecosystem quite has yet.

The recent AZUKI hack on Opensea showcased why security needs to be taken more seriously and we are doing exactly that

Some huge releases and features incoming at FOMOlab so stay tuned!

Ramsy:
5) Almost 4/5 of investors are focused purely on the price of a token in the short term instead of understanding the real value and health of the project. Could you tell us the motivations and benefits for investors to hold your token in the long term?

Pixasso:
Well the financial implications of any sort of “investment” surely is motivation for most people. That is matter of fact

However I would say to try and focus on what the upside potential is and the longevity of a project

NFTs — Not going anywhere

Brands — Going to be flooding in & we work with the direct

Metaverse — Only the beginning

Launchpads — People will always launch projects

The fact we have utility in these areas really does speak volumes about the vision of the team and how we have futureproofed in preparation for the future

You could even say it was reverse engineered somewhat

If you like cool brands, like great projects, love NFTS and want exclusive access. You need $FOMO

1) Josh Gk:
Geting community’s trust is really nice move by any project ; so are your team members anonymous or they have been Doxxed by some companies ?

Pixasso:
Absolutely! We do not get the partnerships we have by being anon. However Khalil our co founder is Doxxed. Khalil Kassam. Feel free to check him out on LinkedIn 🙂

2) Shiva:
On many launchpad platforms,
There is not a fair chance given to all kind of Investors and this is really frustrating for new investors,
How will FOMO launchpad solved this problem?

Pixasso:
Really good question. We will ensure that our launchpad is the most accessible in the space. It doesn’t make sense to lock in 90% of your funds to get into a project. The funds should be going TO the project right? A lot of thought has gone into this and we are very confident that we will be making the one the easiest to use and easiest to participate in new launches, in this space

3) Srabon ★:
Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who haven’t yet entered the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space.

Pixasso:
So this is the point I mentioned in regards to having the Mr Bean brand. How many people watch Mr Bean or know of him but do not buy or hold tokens? The answer is A LOT. We will be running with this strategy for the foreseeable future 🙂

4) Noufal Basheer Noufu:
Which of the following points is most important to you?
I. Increasing Token Price & Value
II. Empowering Platform Development
III. Building Community Trust
IV. Expanding Partnership Globally

Pixasso:
I would say mixture of all of the above 🙂 We need to be multi faceted and focusing on multiple fronts to be successful. Trust comes with delivering on our roadmap. We genuinely are committed to doing everything we said we would do and much more
