AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X GUNFIRE

Gunfire is a combat shooter game with automated firing mechanics. Players only need to manage the character’s movement, the shooting is totally automated, and thus the monsters will have nowhere to hide. Players in Gunfire AVAX will take on the role of a hero armed with a powerful gun. Your aim is to fight dangerous enemies while boosting your energy by collecting in-game goods, earning tokens, and improving your hero and equipment. Gunfire AVAX players can earn award prizes once they win the endless mode/ weekly event/ each stage. They can upgrade in-game items’ rarity levels and sell them on the marketplace at higher prices.

We hosted an AMA session with GunFire on 27th August.

Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Philips was the guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of Gunfire.

1. Make a concise and brief introduction about GunFire. How it is playing its role in NFT Gaming?

Phillips:
Interesting question. So as you guys are all aware of, the gamefi section of the crypto market experienced a tough time. Players concern about the ROI, the sustainability of the project, the prize of NFTs, prize of token, …

Gunfire is here to solve some of those pain points

we may not be able to solve everything

but at least we can bring some innovative approach

Gunfire is a multichain 2D platform shooting game. The game is free to play and there is a play to earn mode in the form of tournament. The game has a mobile friendly and addictive gameplay. Besides playing for fun, players can also upgrade their heroes to be competitive and participate in the play to earn mode

Playing NFT game is not only for making money, it should be first for fun and the ability to own the NFT you have from the game

That’s how Gunfire want to approach the NFT game sector these days

So What are the features of GunFire that makes it superior and special as compared to its competitors?

Phillips:
There are 3 main approach that makes Gunfire special
1. Gunfire has a good gameplay. Players love our game. We have an average engagement time per day per players at 3 hours 30 minutes. Our game is on mobile, it’s friendly, easy to play, easy to understand. It takes less than 30 seconds to get use to it

2. Gunfire’s economy is based on the Tournament mode. So when you start Gunfire, you are free to play. When you play against machine (PvE), it’s also free and it’s for entertainment purpose

If you want to earn then there is a Play to Earn mode in the format of 5 days tournament. Players compete with one another on a Leaderboard. Top 20% of the best players receive rewards after the Tournament. After the 5 days, everything reset and here we go again. Rewards are paid straight to your blockchain wallet after a season

3. Gunfire has not released a native token yet. We have a token name GUNX. But it has not been provided the liquidity yet. All the rewards are paid in the native blockchain token. That means on Avalanche, you play Gunfire Avalanche and you earn AVAX token. On Polygon, you play Gunfire Polygon and you earn MATIC token. Those are the valuable tokens and their price is much more stable, which ensure ROI for the players who are skillful and have victories in our game

Can you provide an overview of Gunfire’s gameplay? And What are the requirements to Play the Game?

Phillips:
First, like I mentioned above, it’s free to play

For the gameplay, Gunfire has the gameplay of classic shooting games such as Contra, Metal Slug, …

It’s a platform shooting game where you rotate your device horizontally

Gunfire is a 2D platform shooting game. There is only a few buttons. You move your joint stick on the left to control your hero and the button on the right is for jumping. The shooting is automatic. You have to eliminate all enemies in each map to win and pass on to the next. The game is free to play and able to play on Android so all you need is phone or Android emulator on PC

the menu is fairly simple like this

to play PvE, you click on the map in the middle and select the map you want to play. It only consume Stamina which regenerates over time

to join the Play to Earn mode, you tap on Endless Tower button, then you will see a Leaderboard of the 5-days tournament

to play the Play to Earn mode, it will cost tickets. Players purchase tickets, we turn that into our revenue, then we extract that revenue to rewards the top 20% players who have the highest ranking on the leaderboard each season

To be more powerful, you can purchase NFTs on the marketplace or from our chests. After you deposit your NFTs into the game, they are located at the Loadout tab

Now tell us about the native token $GUNX, what are its usecases and utilities in Your ecosystem? Also provide With Us the tokenomics

Phillips:
first of all, GUNX has not been released yet. But we are working with a few investors to finalize the tokenomic, before publishing it to the community

But here are some of the information about it

First of all, players are free to get GUNX right now with Gunfire. When you play PvE, you get GUNX. You purchase and consume Endless Ticket, you get GUNX. You invite friends, you get x10 the GUNX compare to PvE.

Basically, GUNX provide you an opportunity to earn in the future. When we successfully raised fund from Private investors and Public Sale, we will provide the Liquidity Pool and you can exchange GUNX for stable coins. So ultimately, the GUNX you earn now is money in the future

Here are some other use cases that we are planning for GUNX so it can hold the value after publishing

* Stake for revenue share from the project itself
* (Optional) can be user to purchase stamina, gold or in-game items

Lastly What GunFire achieved so far and what important updates and developments we’ll get in coming future in GunFire Ecosystem?

Phillips:
Some of the important achievement that we got so far are:
* 25,000 active players
* 5,700 players play daily
* ~700 AVAX rewarded to the players in all the tournaments so far
* Average play time per day per user: 3 hours 30 minutes

These are the traction that show some potential of Gunfire and we are proud of it

Also, we are the top games on DappRadar for Avalanche game section

But that’s not all for Gunfire, we are just started

The beginning of a Grand New Game Ecosystem 🚀🚀

in the upcoming months, we have some features to be focused on:
1. Multi leaderboard for every type of players: Rich players can spend and play against other rich players. Lower budget players can play against lower budget players. It create chances for everyone to play and earn every season

2. Multi achievement leaderboard: Right now the leaderboard has 1 type of counting — the number of floor. But what if you are ranked based on the number of damage you dealt, or the number of enemies you kill without losing health? … It will be really interesting and make the game more interesting

3. The ability to create room, or create your own leaderboard to play with friends. This allows Guilds, other Communities, other Projects to come and play, which is great partnership in this bear market

You can call your friends in and compete with each other, that’s what we’re also aiming for

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

1)is There a referral feature in Gunfire AVAX. Gunfire AVAX players are rewarded when they successfully refer other players to join Gunfire AVAX. How can I generate my refer link to introduce others users to the game? What is the referral bonus?

Phillips:
Of course you can generate your own referral link. First of all you get 10 GUNX token for a successful referral, when your friend starting to play the game

Second, you get a 5% revenue share from the project after your friend spend some money in the project. We are working on this feature and will release it in Q3, 2022, which is in September

2)There are some weapons available to Gunfire AVAX Players. So while starting can we get the weapons for free or do we have to pay for it? Can you also tell about Equipments and Fragments? How can we obtain Armor and Gear? How many types of fragments are there?

Phillips:
First when you start Gunfire you have a default hero and weapon. These are not NFTs

There are a few ways to get weapons
1. Be active on our social media and get rewards in our Discord server
2. Join some of our partners’ campaign to get our free NFTs
2. Purchase NFTs via Chest
3. Claim NFTs in the random box that drops in the game

There are some types of NFTs in the game:
1. Weapon: the gun that deal damage
2. Armor: the suit to increase your defense
3. Gear: increase damage, or defense against some types of enemies

With the 3 types above, there are 2 forms of NFTs

1. Full item NFTs → these NFTs are items
2. Fragment NFTs → these NFTs are not items, they are fragment to upgrade the NFTs of the same name. These can be earned from simply play the game

3: Firstly, many congratulations on POLYGON expansion. Nowadays, most of us do not have high-end devices, so from what I can see from your trailer, I need a high-end device to be able to play @GunfireOfficial ?Can you tell us about your minimum device requirements to play?

Phillips:
Gunfire’s requirement is not high at all

A Redmi Android device of around $100 — $150 can play the game easily

I’m trying to search for the most common device for Gunfire users but it is taking a little long

but in my experience, a low or average Redmi Android phone can be used to play Gunfire for sure

it’s a 2D game only, and it falls into the casual game category, so not really consuming much graphic power

4)Gunfire AVAX is a combat shooter game with automated firing mechanics. so, can you tell us what are the ways of earning in GunFire? Does the users whose not good in combat shooter game can earn in your platform?

Phillips:
You can earn in every way playing Gunfire

First, from GUNX token. So all the activities that generate Gunx helps you earn. But you gotta wait until we successfully raised fund. Because by that time we will provide the liquidity and you guys can exchange the GUNX for stable coins. We do this because we want to payback to those users who have been with us since early. Because they are a crucial part of our fund raising progress as well

Secondly, you can earn by being good in the game, playing the Play to Earn mode on the Endless tower. By doing this you earn AVAX token, and it’s valuable

Lastly, you can earn by making referrals, you get your friends to play the game and then earn from their spending (5% revenue share). This feature will be release in September like I mentioned above

5: Could you tell us about your security strategies, audits and every measure that might protect your users funds and protect their privacy?

Phillips:
First of all our, contract is verified by Verichain: https://www.verichains.io/ — the same one that verify contract for Axie Infinity

In terms of security, we have not been attacked before. But we are confident in our securities because we have dealt with players that use modified APK version

we know how to detect them and we have removed them from the leaderboard to maintain fairness to the competition

we have dealt with a case last season, and we will continue to monitor and detect them all the time

The user’s assets are the NFTs, and it will be no use to hack those NFTs because it can only be used in our game

The AVAX reward is delivered directly to your wallet after every 5-days tournament, so it’s not easy to interfere with

So our model is a protection for us because we have not had the presence of the native token

and we do not bridge NFTs from one chain to another. Bridges are the most vulnerable places. But we don’t have that in our system, so we are confident

1) Munna Bhaiya:
When starting Gunfire Hero, players will be given one of the 11 available characters. Can you tell us about the characters? Is the process random or can we select the character we want? Is there any star ranking for these characters? If so, Can we also increase our hero rank?

Phillips:
Players will be given Hank — the default characters. To unlock other characters you can by Hero Chest, which give you 10+ Hero shards of 1 character. You can then deposit all of the shards into the game and then unlock 1 full Hero with 10 shards. If you have another 10 shards of that Hero, then you will be able to increase the star of that hero

2) Tisha Akhtar Tisha:
Can you explain, which one is your top priority? Security, Product, Partnership, or Token price?

Phillips:
It will always be Product. Token price is not for now because there is no token now. So for now it’s all about the product and users

3) Itz Abhi ⚡️ :
How will GunFire value it’s community? And, what are the ways that GunFire can build a strong and supportive community for it’s forever success? And, how many communities does GunFire currently have for its non-english users?

Phillips:
We have users from Indonesia, India, Brazil, Philippines, Vietnam — many are non English users. Of course, not all community members satisfy of the whole system, but the majority of them does, that how and that’s why we became sustainable at the moment. We have our own revenue stream. We operate without funding from investors. We only call investors in to scale. That’s because we always appreciate the community and we put them first

4) 🅲🅰️🅻🅴🅱️ 🆁🅾️🅼🅰️🅽:
Partnership is always an important factor for every project . So who is your partner ? What are the benefits you get from those relationships ?

Phillips:
We partners with many projects and communities on Avalanche. We share with them our NFTs, we have tailored program for them such as: customized leaderboard, NFTs pool, brand exchange, … and we are opening to Polygon network as well

5) Margaret Benjamin:
I’d like to know if your team members are all from the same country or from all over the world. How do they collaborate on the GUNFIRE project?

Phillips:
Our team are from Vietnam and Singapore. We collaborate easily because the timezone is nearly the same
