AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X HOLOLOOT

Hololoot is the First AR NFT Generator and Marketplace which allows you to:

- Generate AR NFTs from 3D models and scans via Cloud service

- Play with AR NFTs in Augmented Reality via AR App

- Mint, publish, buy and sell AR NFTs

- Share them with friends

We hosted an AMA session with Hololoot on 7th December at 7:00 AM UTC.

Mr. Sal was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Maciek from Hololoot was our guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of Hololoot.

I’m pretty sure that our AMA participants are very much excited to learn more about HOLOLOOT, so let’s get started if you guys are ready!

Q1) Can you give a brief explanation about 'HOLOLOOT' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this space?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Sure! So Hololoot is an Augmented Reality Metaverse (!), NFT Generator and Marketplace!

Let me break it down into pieces:

Metaverse - because our app allows for 3D NFTs to exist in a virtual space, much like VR. Users can interact with one another, participate in events, play mini games and so on! All in AR!

Generator - our Cloud service, conveniently called Hololoot Cloud, allows for easiest AR NFT generation on the market. You simply upload a compatible 3d object there and voila - you can mint it using Enjin or native NFT minting tools. Then, the AR NFT is automatically sent into the AR app which is...

An AR marketplace. You can browse through your own or other people's AR NFTs, preview them in AR and then buy and sell.

We came up with the idea after realizing that NFTs are still in their infancy and that the immersive technologies that we specialise in, especially AR, (for last 5 years we've been doing ar/vr) are not applied in the crypto world properly. So we decided to create Hololoot to change this

Now let's move to our next question..

Q2) So what are your main features that discern you from other projects and what key advantages do you have?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
We are a no-code, decentralized service - meaning any user who has a compatible 3d model can use our infrastructure. Doesn’t have to know how to code AR. There is no other player on the AR market like this. Think of us like Veve but for everyone.

There's a lot to talk about but for now I'll stay with this :)

Q3) We want to know about the development of your AR application, are there any updates that you will provide at this time? And in the 3D world how do you compete with other projects that may be superior?

Maciek Szafarczyk:

We will be releasing a revamped UI soon. After that it's NFT wallet integration, and a NFT webstore.

We are working on a few AR NFTs collections in partnership with partner projects. Stay tuned 🤝

There's no superior competition on the market as far as we know.

Sal:

Do you see VR technology as a barrier to the development of the project and why?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
No, I’d say VR compliments AR. AR allows to connect to the reality what is happening in VR. VR is a fully synthetic environment. Its powerful in some areas but weak in others. It’s also, in my opinion, not destined for mass adoption anytime soon. Whereas I feel like AR has that chance. There’s already a billion AR compatible devices on the market! But very little software. And here’s where we see the opportunity. That’s 180 degrees different than VR. VR has not that much hardware sold worldwide but a lot (in proportion to the number of devices) software!

How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
We’ve business & strategy, software development, marketing, sales and hr experience from the past businesses. We’ve learned a lot during the last 5 years and we are ready to take it to the next level. If you check our social media feed you will see that we move quite rapidly. Partnerships, increasing following, new branding, smart contracts done and audited, software being released, onboarding new people, there’s a lot going on! We would probably crash under the pressure if we didn’t do it before.

Q4)Now Share us about your token, What are the some of utlities of $HOL Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics of $HOL Token

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Sure, let me hop on my laptop

So the plan for the token is rather simple:

1) If you stake it - you'll get full access to the entire ecosystem, you'll get access to premium AR NFT offerings and you'll earn a certain APY
2) Later on HOL will become a preffered payment method!

We might expand the utlity of the token with governance etc but it's too early to say that yet!

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from HOLOLOOT ? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Maciek Szafarczyk:
We’ve been developing it since January this year.

There's a lot of things coming up. The main ones for next year is the launch of our product and introducing location-based AR NFTs a'la Pokemon GO. We aim to release a lot of mutual AR NFT collection with leading NFT and classical games and to become the major player in the AR NFT category (that is yet to be developed)

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

1)Hololoot is powered by Enjin. Can you tell us a few reason why you choose Enjin?What is the positive and benefits of choosing Enjin?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Thanks for this question! Enjin has a lot of powerful Web3 tools such as NFT Minting service, their jumpnet, dedicated wallet, nft marketplace etc. It’s a one stop location for some gaming project that we want to collaborate with. Soon they will be also releasing Efinity that we want to hop on. It’s a major player on the market that we want to work with! 🙂

2) I’ve found out the the project "VeVe" is Hololoot’s sole competitor in the AR NFT industry. Can you state Hololoot’s advantages over VeVe? Also, given that the competition on AR NFT is relatively small for now, do you think there will be a mass adoption on AR NFT in the future?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Hi, thanks for your question! I think I’ve elaborated on this before, haven’t I? 😄 To recap: we are decentralised and yes I do believe there will be a mass adoption for AR! Internet is moving into 3D and there’s no better way of experiencing it!

3) Based on your whitepaper, the team behind Hololoot have been creating and selling Augmented Reality products for 5 years now. Could you share with us your past developments in the AR industry and can you tell us when and why did you decide to explore NFTs and pair it with AR?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Sure! So we’ve worked with the polish Airlines on an AR project, did a few smaller apps and a bunch of various prototypes. Our biggest acheivement in this field is receving a 300k$ grant form the the European Union to develop an entire AR technology! We had to jump through a lot of hoops to get it so we are really proud of it.

NFTs give mass to 3D objects in immersive technologies. They bind it to users, allow to send it throughout apps at ease in a decentralised way. We see it as the future!

4) Hololoot utilizes an augmented reality graphics on its NFT based app. When will the app be launched? Will it be available on both PCs and mobiles? Can you explain a bit about the concept of your app?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Hi, thanks! So the launch is set for Q1 2022! Hololoot Cloud will be availible on desktop, Hololoot AR on mobiles!

The app is an AR Metaverse experience. You're able to view various holograms, play with them, share them with your friends, buy and sell. It's good stuff 🙂

5) Hololoot AR App, Hololoot Cloud, Hololoot Match, and Hololoot 3D Generator are the four primary components of your ecosystem. Can you tell which one is Hololoot’s main focus? What are the most unique aspects you’d want to outline?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Hi, thanks for this question. Hololoot Generator is a part of the Hololoot Cloud. We are focusing on it and the Hololoot AR app!

1)It’s mentioned on your lightpaper that HOLOLOOT will sell unique AR NFTs collections, can you share little detail with us that what type of unique AR NFT’S collection this will be and how will one be able to get them?

Maciek Szafarczyk:

2) Do you have a AUDIT certificates? or, are you working to AUDIT your valuable project, to make it more secure and reliable and sucess?

Maciek Szafarczyk:

3) Whenever we use Hololoot application, we need to use Apple device and their cloud. What do you think what happens if they stop your App and member can not access to use it? How to avoid this and what solution?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Great question! The Cloud provider we are using is Microsoft Azure actually.

If Apple bans us we will loose a channel of distribution. But the AR NFTs will be safe. It's similar to what happened to Age of Rust and Steam. Enjin sent out a letter to help them out!

There’s gonna be a battle between Web2 and Web3 entities so it’s definitely a good quesiton

4) Does have any Github page or any sharing place so that people can look up your code, make sure that your project still growing up and people can trust to accompany the long-term project?

Maciek Szafarczyk:
Unfortunately we are not open source yet but this is something that we definitely have to look into. Our Github repo is currently private.

5) How do we invest in the project?? Do we have locking period or a minimum requirement to be eligible?
