AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X IZUMIWORLD

Izumi World is an NFT-based, geolocation pet battle game where players capture and train magical beasts, known as Izumi, from live-tracked locations in the real world. The Izumi are both friendly and fearsome, and possess wondrous magical powers that players can use to battle other players, join world events for PvE, and fight in the grand tournament known as the Ildaloran League Cup.

We hosted an AMA session with IzumiWorld on 3rd March.

Miss Uzma was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr Grant, CEO of IzumiWorld was the guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of IzumiWorld.

Q1) Give us a brief explanation about 'Izumi World' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Grant Stanley:
Izumi World is an NFT-based, geolocation pet battle game where players capture and train magical beasts, known as Izumi, from live-tracked locations in the real world. The Izumi are both friendly and fearsome, and possess wondrous magical powers that players can use to battle other players, join world events for PvE, and fight in the grand tournament known as the Ildaloran League Cup.

I noticed most play-to-earn games were not utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology so I decided to create the first AAA quality AR game in this space. Using AR, or Augmented Reality, players will see the beauty of Izumi World projected into their own homes and neighborhoods. AR, through mobile devices, allows for a much more accessible entrance to the metaverse, one without the massive hardware requirements of VR gaming.

Q2) What are your main features and advantages that discern you from other projects?

Grant Stanley:
Izumi World is a geolocation game with many engaging and unique features. Players will search for Izumi on an augmented version of a navigator app similar to Google Maps, where the player is tracked in real time. Once a player discovers an Izumi, they may attempt to catch it using runes and spells.

Each Izumi has unique traits and abilities in combat. Players will create teams of three Izumi to do battle with others players in a strategic, turn-based RPG-style combat system. Players may compete in three different game modes to earn tokens. The first mode will be Arena: one-on-one battles between players. The second game mode will be the Izumian League: Players will ascend the ranks of the Izumian League by winning bracketed battles and earning points. The third game mode will be Illdalorian League Cup: Top-ranked players from the Izumian League compete for the title of champion in a tournament. Winners of these tournaments will earn tokens and NFTs.

At Izumi World, our focus is to create the highest quality software with the absolute maximum of accessible design and meta-creating depth. What sets us apart from other games in this space is that we have far and away the simplest but deepest design for combat strategy, which enables all kinds of players to become experts from casual to hardcore. Izumi World also has a deep, rich lore that ties into the way that our players interact with the game, which creates an immersive experience like no other crypto game has created before.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Grant Stanley:
Our team at Izumi World is very talented. Some of us have backgrounds in the crypto industry, some of us have backgrounds in the gaming industry, some of us have a background in marketing, and some of us in the economics field. Together we are a very strong team and have put together an amazing project for you guys. 4) Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utlities of $IZUMI Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Grant Stanley:
Izumi World has a dual token model, namely:
- $IZUMI, which is the governance token, representing voting power in the game governance, resolution mechanisms, future evolutions of the game and control over Treasury; and.
- $TRNR (reads "trainer"), the currency token, which is used as means of exchange for in-game transactions (both for primary sales of assets and as means of exchange in the Izumi World Marketplace) and in-game rewards.

These tokens will also have additional functions, as they can be allocated to staking and liquidity pools.

5) How long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Izumi World? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Grant Stanley:
We have been working on Izumi World for about 6 months now. We are very excited for the future of Izumi World. In April we will be doing our Founding Trainer Pass NFT Drop. These NFTs will include special perks including many token airdrops. Then in Q2 we will be doing our IZUMI token listings on CEX and DEX exchanges. In Q3 we will be launching the Izumi Marketplace so our community can begin buying, selling, and trading our in-game assets to prepare for the full game launch. In Q4 we will be doing beta testing on our game and finalizing. Then we aim to release the full Izumi World game in Q1 2023.

1) I noticed Izumi has two tokens: $IZUMI (Izumi token) and $TRNR (trainer token). Could you please explain his two tokens? What are the functions and roles of each token, and what are the advantages of holding your tokens for the long term?

Grant Stanley:
Sure, as mentioned before in tokenomics question, Izumi World has a dual token model.
- $IZUMI, which is the governance token, representing voting power in the game governance, resolution mechanisms, future evolutions of the game and control over Treasury; and.
- $TRNR (reads "trainer"), the currency token, which is used as means of exchange for in-game transactions (both for primary sales of assets and as means of exchange in the Izumi World Marketplace) and in-game rewards.

These tokens will also have additional functions, as they can be allocated to staking and liquidity pools. Staking is a great incentive for long term holders.

2) May we know when are your planning to release the full version of your game? Before doing that, would you be conducting a Beta test/phase first? Will that Beta test be open for the public to try?

Grant Stanley:
Yes we will be releasing a public Beta for the game before the full game launch. We aim to release this beta in Q4 2022 and release the full game in Q1 2023. We are extremely excited for this game launch as it is something that has never been seen before. The first play-and-earn AR game!

3) With the rise of play-to-earn games (P2E), an increasing number of people are entering the world of crypto gaming in order to play and earn together. How and why were you inspired to found @izumiworldgame ?How do you believe Metaverse’s evolution will affect communities?

Grant Stanley:
I have always loved gaming and crypto so when the two were combined It was immediately my passion. I believe that P2E will become the standard for all gaming because it makes it so much more fun and exciting. The Metaverse can come in all shapes and sizes, and thats what we strive for at Izumi World. We are creating a new kind of Metaverse so that the community will have options on what type of Metaverse they want to be in whether its VR or AR. We are very excited for the future of this industry as it expands rapidly over the next few years.

5) Can you please tell us more about the story behind the creation of Izumi World? Because if I'm honest, Izumi World's gameplay reminded me a lot to Pokémon Go, so I was wondering, did you get inspiration from this popular game? Can you tell us how did you come up with this idea?

Yes, Pokemon Go was the first big AR success. It inspired everyone in the gaming industry. I loved the game and wanted AR to continue evolving. Izumi World does this by expanding the AR genre even further. We have very engaging battling gameplay which will launch on the initial game launch day. This along with the new finance aspects of the game will make it even more engaging and widespread. I came up with this idea by looking at what has worked very well in the past and combining various aspects plus adding a few of my own to create a really awesome game.

I am interested to invest in your project.When and where can I buy your tokens? Is it already listed exchanges?

Hi Eren,
We will be listing on DEX and CEX exchanges in Q2 of 2022.

3) Captain Price 🎖:
Can we customize our avatars on the IzumiWorld platform, what do I need to have a rare avatar? Does IzumiWorld have an NFT market, in which markets can we trade IzumiWorld NFTs?

Grant Stanley:
Yes players will be able to customize and create their own avatars on our platform. The Izumi Marketplace will be the place to trade, buy, and sell all Izumi In-Game Assets from Izumi themselves to Avatars.

Based on what criteria do you select these exchanges??

We will be targeting all the best centralized exchanges as we are a tier 1 project.

In Q1 2023, yes it will be on android. We are making the game very simple and fun so it will be very easy to adopt the game. We also will be offering offchain wallets and fiat on/off ramps for our non-crypto-savy players.
