AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X KENKA

KENKA METAVERSE is a blockchain game inspired by the underground world. The game ecosystem is designed to have an immersive Play to Earn experience, where players can train their characters and by having a “KENKA”, meaning fighting in Japanese, to gain fame and fortune. Land, squads or brothers, and other items in the game are in NFT and tradable. By bringing these items together and forming guilds with other players, you can participate in a robust community than in traditional games. Kenkado is an RPG game app where players aim to become the toughest fighter. This game is extremely popular in Japan, where it has collaborated with many anime and martial art fighters. KENKA-DO METAVERSE will be an NFT game derived from this app game and reskinned with new characters and new setting. KENKA-DO METAVERSE will be a Play to Earn NFT game set 10 years after the world of “Kenkado Zenkoku Furyo Banzuke” where battles unfold around the world in the metaverse.

We hosted an AMA session with Kenka Metaverse on 31st July.

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about ‘KENKA METAVERSE’. What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Kenka:
To put in a nutshell, KENKA METAVERSE is a project that will build a sustainable Play to Earn service and design an economy by categorizing the stages and users

Players can play for free like a normal social game, but for the core users, their dream may come true by playing with the NFTs that they hold and earning the game token called KENKA-COIN

What made us to develop the actual game was that there’s a game app called KENKADO in Japan with over 3 million downloads and it’s still a massive game app in Japan. This app was looking for someone who can actually turn it to a GameFi project and we were the one who raised our hand to develop the metaverse version of KENKADO app.

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Kenka:
The biggest difference between our project and the other project is how we are designing the in game economy.

KENKA METAVERSE economy is designed by categorizing the stages and users:
2 stages and 4 levels of users

Most of you must ask what are we referring to stage and levels of users.

Our definition of stage is a bit different and we refer to “1st Stage” as the part of the game that can be played without any NFTs like the other social games.

The part where players play using #NFT as a Play to Earn service is what we call the “2nd stage”

It might be easier to picture the “1st stage” as street fights, and the “2nd stage” as official fighting tournaments like in the reality.

By holding NFTs, you’ll able to fight in the official tournament, but without NFT, only in the free street fights

About 4 different levels of users, it means that we are dividing the users into 4 different layers.

The 1st one is called the Guild Master.
This is the group of players focusing on earning.

The land in KENKA METAVERSE is called “Shima” and by holding “Shima”, can earn by creating guilds & cooperating with other users

The second layer is what we call, Player.
This group of players are the ones who are acquiring both fame and wealth.

They can earn from the fighting tournament and may earn from ads revenue.

Most of the players will be aiming for this group and will be the symbolic players of our project

The 3rd layer is what we call Follower.
This is the group of players enjoying the game by betting or fighting other players.

Players from the Follower level will aim to get stronger and turn to be in the Players level

This layer will mainly earn through PVP and by betting at their own pace.

and finally, we have the Gamer layer.

This is the group of players mainly playing the game for free

Players who do not own NFT and play mainly at the “1st Stage”.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Kenka:
What we believe that the problem that GameFi industry has is that many of the projects do not have the decent game devs

Our team is organized with highly experienced dev team who have developed numbers of social games

I’m not sure if there are people who are familiar with the Japanese animations, but our dev team has an experience developing the gaming app from the anime called Attack of the Titan

and they’ve also developed the app for the most famous Japanese girls group, Nogizaka 48

We also have a team who has developed the crypto payment system as well

The parent company is listed on First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, so we believe our team is really authentic and confident enough to bring the best game.

4) Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utilities of $KENKA Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Kenka:
Yeah sure.

What you can do is Buy/Sell the NFT in the market, obtain items and train your character in the gym.

Battle against another player and earn the prize by KENKA.

Obtain the new NFT with KENKA-COIN to make your character even stronger and able to earn in the tournament or by betting.

So basically, characters become stronger through these processes and earn KENKA by winning the battles

More than 99.99% of KENKA-COIN is owned by the team and it’s a fact. What this means is that we think that there aren’t investors who panic sell or intend to do so. If you think about this, it’s really safe. In fact, there are probably many projects that hold over 90% but making it vague not showing how much they actually hold. We really are being very honest to the users and running this project with transparency.

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from KENKA METAVERSE If possible could you please share road map with us.

Kenka:
Yeah, to be honest, our project is at the very very early developing stage right now. The roadmap is being under reviewed right now and what we want to say to our users is please stay tuned for the official announcement. There are lots of exciting plans that we are discussing right now.

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
1)One of the main issue with online gaming platforms is that at some point in time game play becomes boring. Could you share some of your KENKA features that will keep gamers motivated and glued to your platform on the long term?

Kenka:
Great question!

As I mentioned earlier, in KENKA METAVERSE, there will be a land called “Shima”. Shima means land in Japanese, by the way/

So ,there are different types of Shima and I’ll just talk about the 3 typical types of Shima.

The first one will be the Shima with the facilities having fighting tournament like an arena, stadium, or other venue.

The owner of this type of Shima can host a tournament setting rules & regulations. So like in the reality, users can watch this fighting tournament.

The other special feature in this Shima is that players can predict the winner and bet on the match. Prize will be paid to the fighters, and Shima owners receive a profit based on the sales.

and there’s a Shima with “Gym”

Players are able to train their characters in the gym. Owners of the gym can set their trainer NFTs and are able to teach & learn techniques. Users of the gym need to pay the fee to use the gym, and this fee is used to generate revenue for the owner. Exciting isn’t it?

and last but not least, we have the Shima with the betting zone

This will depend on the Shima, but will offer a variety of mini-games, including slot machines and poker. Able to purchase mini-game points with KENKA coins and play with those points. By accumulating points, players can exchange them for exclusive NFT items

For now, we only have these 3 typical types of Shima, but we do have plans to make more Shimas so that players can have more options to earn and simply have fun with the game.

2)In which ways do you generate revenue/profit ? So many projects just like to speak about the “long term vision and mission” but what are your short terms objectives? What are you focusing right now..?

Kenka:
Like the normal social game, in app purchases will be one way to generate the revenue

and as I mentioned in the first question from the 2nd segment, by running the fighting tournament, we will look for the sponsor and ad revenue like in the real world.

One thing that we want to emphasize is that these generated revenues will be redistributed for the users.

Don’t know what he’s referring to the short term objectives, but what we are doing right now is signing with the Japanese pro fighters and celebrities. For example, Mikuru Asakura is a pro fighter in Japan and he’s our ambassador right now and we have partnered with Asuka Kirara. FYI, I’ll put the link here.

But our next step is to go negotiate with the professional fighters outside Japan

Doing a collaboration with them. In terms of our short term objective, this will be it.

3)Can you list 1–3 killer features of this project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about?

Kenka:
Okay! Our 1st killer feature will be that our project is based on the gaming app called KENKADO. Like I’ve mentioned, this app is a massive hit in Japan with over 3 million downloads.

The other one is that I’ve mentioned this one earlier, but we have a unique designed economy.

This might will be a repeat, but the Shima that we’re creating is unique. Betting, having a fighting tournament, and we’ll create more new Shima.

The economy that’s been designed right now will be released by a light paper, so hold on to that.

We’re very confident with our economy.

4)Marketing and partnership are two of the factors that brings hope to a platform so can you share us some of the strategic partnership that helps develop? How do you attract more investors in your platform?

Kenka:
We can’t announce about the details yet, but we are currently negotiating for the collaborations and partnership with Japanese anime and fighting teams from around the world.

Japanese animes are getting really popular throughout the world, so please stay tuned for the announcement.

We’re also negotiating with CEXs as well, so we believe that this also can attract the investors to our platform.

5)If the community is considered the backbone, security is also an extremely important factor. So is your project currently audited or not? How to convince that your security system is safe enough for investors as well as the community against hacker attacks?

Kenka:
To get listed on exchanges, for example, our project needs to be audited, so we are proceeding with it. It’s still in progress and will be announced when we are ready to make an official announcement.

what is the tokenomics and Distribution of KENKA coin? Where can we buy KENKA coin? Where was it listed? And finally, is your gaming app KENKADO only for Japanese people, cos you only talk about it’s over 3 million download in Japan and not mentioning other countries?

Kenka:
I’m assuming lots of people wonder where you can go buy the KENKA coin. KENKA-COIN is listed and tradable on

3) Ali Khalid:
Could you tell us which userbase is main target?Do you focus only on professional users & Investors or non crypto peoples and Investors also have you any highlighted and educated features and program that can makes easier your project easier for everyone one?

Kenka:
The game is basically a free to play game, so we focus not only with the professional users, but everyone in general. To educate our users, we are planning to make the tutorial so the users can easily understand about our game.

4) Sualp Ekinci:
Can you talk about the content of the Metaverse world of #KenkadoMeta? What will we be able to do in this virtual world? Are you considering Land Sale?

Kenka:
Basically, there’s 2 different things that you can do. You either play the game for free and just have fun or, earn by playing this game. This is what I referred to as stage. In the 1st stage economy, you just play the game for free, but in the 2nd stage zone ,you’ll play the game and earn. In the 2nd stage, for example, you can be at the highest level owning Shima to run the fighting tournament and earn from it.

and yes, we are considering the land sale so wait for it!

5) How we can move to highest levels?

Kenka:
In order to be in the highest level, you need high quality NFTs and characters as you proceed. One method that really works is to train your characters in the gym.
