AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X KONNECT

Konnect Project is aiming for making new B2B2C economic ecosystem with the on-off line integration and powerful membership based on blockchain technology. It have B2B global market networks through 10 years of distribution business in global market and, moreover, support various market fields like accommodation, airline, medical, beauty care industries for global tourists. Konnect aim to get over the limit of existing industries and improve the efficiency of them and finally extend the existing B2B infrastructure to B2C by taking advantage of blockchain. Konnect aims to create an ecosystem that offers online and offline membership benefits. Following the slogan “Connecting Virtual and Reality,” they already have a 6 trillion won B2B infrastructure not only in the duty-free product distribution but also in various markets: hotels, aviation, medical care, and beauty services which link to global travelers. They are bringing the infrastructure to the blockchain space and proceeding with the project to expand to the B2B2C market.

We hosted an AMA session with Konnect on 19th May.

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about ‘Konnect’ .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Mark:
Konnect is a blockchain-based membership platform bridging reality and the physical world with the metaverse via real economy. With compelling partners holding tax-free distribution B2B infrastructures, we are building a cohesive crypto platform that benefits holders and ecosystem participants with a one-stop service that provides all their e-commerce, nft, and payment needs while updating it to accommodate the new web 3.0 world.

Referring to the second part of the question, we created Konnect as we understood that the market was eager to see a paradigm shift in the current NFT/Crypto market, where it’s still primarily driven by hype, pure speculation, and a group of niche collectors and short-term profit-taking investors. Instead, we need a more utility-driven environment to allow crypto/nft projects to transform into a long-term sustainable model so that they can be quickly adopted and appreciated by the masses. Konnect will initiate that paradigm shift.

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Mark:
Hey guys just as a precursor, I want to describe a little bit more indept regarding our advantages so it may be a lengthy answer!

With our secured partners and infrastructure, Konnect can offer some of the most discounted and competitive prices in the market. This is only possible because of our expanded infrastructure and network pool that has been built out over decades of personal/work relationships in the conventional offline market.

2.) Proven Track Record

Konnect wasn’t created and built on a whim or as a means to hop onto the crypto bandwagon; it was the logical next expansion for a thriving industry and alliance.

Konnect has a proven track-record of an infrastructure capable of generating $6B+ USD in annual sales and meeting customer demands. With an already established network, resources, and infrastructure, Konnect is able to quickly adapt and transition its services for the crypto world to enjoy.

3. Unique, Fun, Scalable

Konnect pursues new efficiency and fun by combining blockchain technology, especially NFT (Non-Fungible Token). The e-commerce platform, the core of KCT membership, issues a genuine NFT containing the purchase and distribution process, which creates a foundation for personal trades in the future.

In addition, NFTs are found on the platform in various forms, such as mystery box (a random lottery) where you can get NFTs exchangeable for things in real life, and PFP NFTs (Profile Picture NFTs) that have their own stories and benefits. Konnect plans to expand the use of blockchain, including NFT, through continuous updates.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Mark:
The experience and background of our team members have been invaluable! The relationships and experience is what allowed Konnect to be created!

With the experience, personal and business relationships that have been built and accumulated over decades of working with industry key players, Konnect was able to establish relationships that offer the most efficient and low-cost product sourcing- allowing us to trickle those benefits down to our ecosystem participants! This works hand in hand with not only product sourcing but delivery, customer service, marketing, and all aspects of a business!

Team members experience within the field will also continue to be of massive help as they have a strong understanding of not only the industry in general but of the customer’s wants and needs. This will help us create an optimal design and UI/UX that will be catered to our audiences and continue to push out new products that we know will be of value to our community!

With the goal of creating as many value-adding qualities as possible, we have developed $KCT to serve as the backbone of the Konnect ecosystem!

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Konnect If possible could you please share road map with us.

Mark:
Konnect’s framework and ideation within the crypto industry started being developed as early as Q2 2021! This timeline, however, does not accurately represent the amount of time it took to develop personal and work relationships that are needed for Konnect, its partners, and the infrastructure of this scale!

Again, Konnect is bringing its proven track record of a successful online and offline business that does over $6B+ in revenue into the metaverse and crypto scene. A Natural profression of a business expansion!

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

1)In order for many users to use membership service, there should be many franchises adopting the membership system. How do you plan to secure a franchise ?

Mark:
Konnect is focusing on securing membership subscribers rather than franchises. The biggest reason is that it is difficult to secure merchants and establish a process that can be purchased on-site.
Securing franchisees will cause development and operation issues, including regulations, franchise contracts for KCT use — linkage of franchise computer systems — linkage of KCT payments from franchisees — and related CS.

We already have a large number of real goods and services (airways, hotels, luxury accommodations, medical services, etc.) So what we really need is not just to introduce KCT for offline purchases, but to receive products after purchase through e-commerce in our membership platform, which is much more efficient to secure and expand users. Ultimately, our goal may be to connect all systems, including our platforms and franchises, but the most important thing is to solidify our membership!

2) What is the profit model of the Konnect?And how do you intend to reinvest your profits?
One of Konnect’s competitive edges is that we already have a B2B duty-free distribution infrastructure. We are already sourcing physical goods and service offerings at competitive prices through our strategic partners who share our infrastructure.

Mark:
Being a Konnect member means sharing this infrastrucutre. The higher membership level you get, the more discounts and benefits you earn!

Once you reach the highest of levels, you will essentially be getting the same price point as large scale distribution firms! The lowest of costs!

Even with these discounted prices, there is still a small profit margin. By expanding the volume and market size, we are sure to find even more rooms for stable revenue and value add to our community members!

Konnect is always considering methods to reinvest profits to creating a more cohesive and user friendly ecosystem. We will be posting updates regarding our investments and look to get feedback from community members so we can best reward them!

3) Do I know if you have a partner now? Because, partners are very important for every project today and which partners are you going to in the future. And which partners are you going to in the future?

Mark:

4) #Konnect is currently Ethereum based. it’s good, but there is a gas fee issue, so why did you choose Ethereum? I wonder if Konnect has plans to expand other chains & your own mainnet in near future.

Mark:
Konnect’s top priority is linking its existing businesses to the blockchain and establishing a stable infrastructure as its core. As you mentioned, Ethereum may not be cost-efficient due to high gas fees, but it provides a mainnet infrastructure that can secure various users and meet the needs of many. We reviewed several prominent mainnets and decided to develop based on Ethereum to expand the market and obtain more users.

After reviewing several chains: Solana, Klayton, Polygon, and Binance Smart Chain, we are developing a plan to provide our service with various chains in consideration of additional scalability and efficiency when the conditions are met.

As of yet, we are not planning to build our own mainet due to the nature of the project dealing with payment assets, but it’s also possible to build a mainnet if we believe it is necessary for the future!

5)How Konnect differentiate between membership subscribers & regular subscribers? Please explain.

Regular users can also get discounts on the Konnect platform. All you need to do is sign up for the Konnect platform. Through the optimization of integration our online and offline assets using DLT technology, we already have more than enough to profit benefits to even regular users.

To access higher discount levels and greater perks&benefits, you need to hold and stake KCT. This will help determine the level you are along with the following perks!

Membership levels have 5 classes: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Black, and Platinum, with a 10% to 40% price discount depending on the level. In addition, you will also gain perks such as exclusive and early access to limited drops and events.

Do you purchase back tokens or burn them to raise their value and create scarcity? Do you have any intentions to do so in the future if not?

Mark:
Were glad you brought this up! Our project understands the value of burning tokens along with other methods to manage the circulation supply along with the price points.

As of now, we have disclosed that initially 1% of all sales on the B2C market will be burned in order to help the ecosystem expand and to reward our ecosystem participants!

How many Membership LEVELs does Konnect World have ?

What are the benefits of each level ?!

Mark:
There are currently 5 different membership levels!

Bronze, Silver, Gold, Black, and Platinum!

Do you have a AUDIT certificates?
Or Are you working to AUDIT Your project, so that the security of the project becomes more secure and reliable?

Mark:
Yes! We have completed our first token audit from Slow-mist, a reputable and recognized audit instiution.

As we continue to develop our product and features, we will continue to audit our code so that there is no vulnerabilities! We understand the value of security and we will continue to strive for the highest standards

According to me Your Project Name KONNECT matches With the Word CONNECT , Only C is Replaced WITH K, Am I Right, Please tell me Why You choose this Name ?

Mark:
You are correct! It is a play on words with ‘Connect’.

As you may recall from our project introduction, our ultimate goal is to act as a bridge(connect) from the current pyhsical world into the web 3.0 world!

5) SuperHero:
Can You Tell something about the Konnect Wallet?
& What are some Key features that are Added to this Wallet?

Mark:
The Konnect Wallet is the cohesive one-way solution providing all the features and benefits of a Payment Gateway(PG) and
a personal wallet.

Konnect’s solution of PG integeration and payment fully abides by KYC and AML policy and regulationsaround the world. Konnect commerce and Konnect NFT Marketplace users are provided with a wallet and vendor POS system included in K-bridge’s proprietary payment gateway (PG).

The point is that the current online payment system has been redesigned via blockchain. Through blockchain, users receive more convenience functions such as staking, P2P settlement, and automatic refunds as well as payment services!
