AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X META XENO

Metaxeno metaverse is a cross-chained NFT-GameFi ,also including Defi functions like cross-chain transaction, crypto yield farming, synthetic asset etc.By bringing in the “Play-to-earn” (P2E) and “Happy-to earn” business model, gamers could experience the charm and fun from the multiverse in an immersive way. It is developed by the blockchain gaming studio IOMC, which is backed by the well-known gaming company, HEADLOCK, and the game itself is co-launched with the deFi protocol- Mixtrust (MXT).

We hosted an AMA session with MetaXeno on 25th January.

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about 'MetaXeno' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Youssra:
MetaXeno is an NFT-GameFi developed by the blockchain gaming studio IOMC, the game being compatible with cross-chain wallets is one of its many iconic features.

IOMC is backed by the well-known gaming company, HEADLOCK, and the game itself is co-launched with the deFi protocol- Mixtrust (MXT). Due to the various financial protocols, it provides healthy liquidity for the tokenomics of Metaxeno metaverse. Their cooperation mainly focuses on the diversified decentralized financial protocols of Mixtrust (including: cross-chain trades, crypto yield farming, synthetic asset etc.), therefore enabling the enhancement of the strength and flexibility of its financial ecosystem.

In 2021 we witnessed an explosive growth of GameFi, which led to a change in the business model of traditional games, connecting every participant based on the shared recognition of NFT. and clarifying the ownership of crypto assets and building a value-sharing network.

In the coming future, GameFi will lead to a qualitative change along with the development of Metaverse. GameFi has been recognised as the most nature entry point to the Metaverse, they are also complements to each other, they are reforming the gaming industry in micro and macro perspectives.
This is what MetaXeno is believing and working on.

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Youssra:
In MetaXeno Free to earn is one of the unique features where players do not need any prior investment to play in the game, the only thing they need to commit is time and effort.
Once a new player join the game, they would be given a 1-star hero at registration which can be used to earn native in-game token (MXT). They could also attain another 2-star hero by completing different missions.

We believe that the fact of investing a certain amount of money to play a game is unreasonable and prevents many traditional players from playing NFT games. In an e-sport game, the more players, the better the battle. Pay to Play will limit the expansion of MetaXeno in the future. ‌ This is the most important reason why we set up a Free to earn model for players.

Moreover, MetaXeno introduced various financial protocols, so as to flourish its ecosystem growth. To expand and sustain both MXT and MetaXeno’s ecosystem, 20% of MXT‘s total supply has been utilized in MetaXeno.

MXT as the native token on Mixtrust, which can be traded on OKX (former OKEX) exchange platform. It acts as a circulation token in the game which can be used to purchase NFT mystery boxes, home construction etc., MXT was issued from daily PVE mission, and it is also the revenue of the planet.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Youssra:
The experience and the background of our team have impacted the growth of our project in different ways, So far, our team has 14 developers, 7 game designers, 8 marketing and operation specialists and a few community ambassadors.

Our CEO, Tsuyoshi Nishinohara has 11 years of experience in the web industry, specializing at large-scale upgrading, organizing extension technology for blockchain projects, and assisting conversion into crypto projects. He is an aspirational leader of our team guiding us on metaverse construction. The idea of “Free-to-Play” and the suggestion to introduce MXT Token was introduced by him.

Our developers are professionals from different aspects, for example, they are specialized in 3D mathematics, Unity3D, PHP, C++, Java and HLSL. The gaming modes, the battle scenes, heroes' skills etc, are the crucial factors of Metaverse experience throughout the development of the game.

Besides, every designer of our team constantly strives for perfection in every game element and detail. We are also offering visual and gaming enjoyment more than just bringing in a Play-to-Earn business model.

Our marketing and operation team, they are storytellers and promoters of MetaXeno. A profound game background is built, and the unique origin of each hero has created and described, so as to could boost the charm and fun experience in an immersive way.

4) Now Share us about your Native tokens, What are the some of utlities of $XENO in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Youssra:
MetaXeno is adopting a dual-token model for the token structure, $XENO is firstly compatible with OEC, and therefore bridging with ERC-20 and BSC.

$XENO is rewarded from MetaXeno Arena (PVP mission), weekly achievements are summed up and cleared, the first 1000 gamers earn proportionate XENO rewards.

$XENO is also the governance and functional utility token with my application scenarios, such as NFT marketplace trading, stake-to-earn, participating in special events, land purchase etc.

The XENO DAO will later be established for community governance which aims to create a virtuous cycle and co-governance mechanism for its ecosystem.

And in order to ensure the sustainability & scalability of the ecosystem, 20% $MXT of its total supply is introduced to MetaXeno. which could be used for heroes upgrade, weapons enhancement, market trading, breeding and Genesis Mystery box purchase; but there is a difference between $XENO, $MXT will be rewarded from daily PVE mission.

Let's move to our last question from this segment...

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from MetaXeno? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Youssra:
The idea of the game came to life in MAY 2021, we are expecting to launch our game within 2022 Q1. The limited supply of Genesis NFT mystery boxes will be sold beforehand which is expected to be a one-time-only sale. With the endorsement of MXT(which has been launched on OKX/OKEX Exchange for 2 years), we believe that more investors and gamers will be willing to participate. Also, cross-chain will be also another feature of our NFT marketplace.

We are now setting up a reward scheme for all the early gamers, we hope to see you part of our early members and supports.

1) MetaXeno is play-to-earn RPG game. One really important aspect of almost every game, and personally my favorite part, is the possibility to play on Multiplayer mode, so, my question is; will users have the possibility on MetaXeno to play with friends on a multiplayer mode?

Youssra:
Thank you for your question, we couldn't agree more having a multiplayer mode is important within a game, in MetaXeno1.0, the option of teaming with other players is not available yet, however it will be possible to be updated in MetaXeno2.

Ramsy:
2) The current state of NFT is comparable to the web in the 90's, static and boring. So, can you explain how Meta - Xeno can change this paradigm presented by NFT?What is the difference between Super NFT and the traditional ones found so far?How Super NFT superior to other projects?

Youssra:
Thank you for your question, the MetaXeno NFTs include heroes, weapons, land etc., gamers could earn various rewards from battles, they could also upgrade all the NFTs to add value to them. They could be freely traded in the MetaXeno marketplace, and participate in staking. Our Genesis NFT mystery boxes will be sold on a one-time-only sale, therefore our NFTs will potentially have more collection value.

3)MetaXeno has a state-of-the-art NFT marketplace equipped with all the features of the existing NFT marketplaces but what features have been improved in order to have a state-of-the-art marketplace? Can you tell me about staking and gamification within the marketplace?

Youssra:
Thank you for your question, regarding staking and gamification within MetaXeno marketplace is as follows:
1.XENO + MXT staking

2.Total Value Locked (TVL )of XENO meets an amount, high level hero is rewarded

MetaXeno can be used in staking for MetaXeno 1.0, in the coming version, staking NFT to earn will be realized for more gainings. The related details will be released as soon as possible.

4) NFT and GameFi are growing very fast, does MetaXeno have some barriers to entry into this marketplace? What are your plans to unlock market's full potential, in order to compete with other NFT marketplaces like CryptoPunks, Anxie Infinity, Cool Cats...?

Youssra:
Thank you for your question, We think there is a lot of undiscovered market potential for NFTs and GameFi, therefore we connected the ecosystem of Mixtrust (MXT) with MetaXeno, to enhance the flexibility and strength of our financial environment. All these features enable MetaXeno with both a better gaming experience and various financial services. Our NFT boxes are planned to launch on OEC which has a lower barrier for gamers to participate.

5) In Metaxeno ecosystem i found two tokens: $XENO and $MXT. So could you tell me the utility of each one within the game? And why did you decide to create 2 tokens for your project?

Thank you for your question, as we mentioned earlier , we use a dual-token model, $XENO will be rewarded from PVP battles, and $MXT will be rewarded from PVE mission. In the pictures below, it shows the application of our token. This design of our tokenomics is to ensure the healthy development of our ecosystem in a long term.
