AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X METAMALL
Metamall offers a one-of-a-kind virtual reality experience with a variety of themes, architecture, and interactive VR components. Metamallers will be the name given to token holders. It will serve as a primary center for crypto enthusiasts of all levels. Users will have access to crypto knowledge and immersive entertainment in one location for the first time. On Metamall, users will be able to create stores, games, arena and experiences. Metamall will constantly evolve with users’ imagination and creativity which in turn will further enrich user experience and build engagement and wealth on platform.
We hosted an AMA session with MetaMall on 8th January.
Miss Uzma was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Sahan Ray was the guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of MetaMall.

So here's the first question of introductory segment
1. First of all, please introduce yourself to us. How did you get involved in crypto? What's your role in MetaMall and tell us about your team as well briefly.
Metamall Team:
My name is Serge Gianchandani have been an entrepreneur since many year. First I have started a optronics company calle Egg SolutionIn Egg solution I have built a 360 degree camera where in one single shot you where able to capture a 360 degree view and immerse inside the picture
I ve also done the same in video 360, and that was mainly for the security market
Then I built an ecommerce website in fashion where I was selling luxury brands at a discount price
I ve sold this ecommerce to a group and now it is Koovs.com, which is listed in the London Stock Exchange
The last company that I still own is called Moksha, it is a digital tranformation agency where we help brands to go from offline to online
Sahan Ray:
Am Sahan. My last company was in B2B e-Com building Udaan.com which today is a $ 3Bn company. For last decade have been working with brands and retailers to digitize their businesses. I had started working in tech as part of Boston Consulting GroupWhile working with brands we reaized there is an opportunity to create an enterprise at the junction of commerce, netoworking and crypto. Crypto for us is an enabler to gamify the experience and build wealth
The project at its heart is about retail commerce, social gaming and user design and experience
At Metamall, I would be looking at strategy and business development. I would be getting fashion, gaming and other brands on platform

2. Now give us a brief explanation about 'MetaMall' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?
Sahan Ray:
In last decade social networking, gaming and e-commerce have boomed. However they are not as interactive as real life experiences and doesn't directly enable building wealthWith new technology of crypto, NFT and VR not available it has become possible to build a much better and immersive experience
This and our passion and experience of working with brands created the idea of Metamall
It is designed in theme of spaceship as that represents the aspiration of the users and current and next generations
So we wanted to give brands a platform to connect with users, launch their products, sell experiences
Whiles users can have a diversified experience of creating, building, gaming and in process generating income for themselves
Metamall Team:
As I said earlier, we are often helping brand to go digital. ans few months ago we wanted to understand their perspective about what is currently happening on web3.0 . We realised that they were all very excited but they didnt have a clue on how to be part of itSo the idea started with that, and we also understood that for these brands what was very important is the retail experience at the beginning, they are not focused on the revenue, they just want to have a presence, they know that revenue will come at later stage for them
Its more a branding and PR exercise for them
But later the idea is to integrate the metaverse into their omnichannel strategy and then generate revenue
and its not about having any exclusivity with the brands, some will also have their own metaverse and thats ok, that doesnt stop them to get onboard with Metamall

3. What are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?
Sahan Ray:
Our design in the concept of spaeship and way the real estate is created and zoned will give a unique experience to brands and users. We have shared details different types of lands ie cube, cabin, club, chalet and chateau in our site.Our team comes with experience in building brands and companies, e-commerce and development in web 3.0
Metamall Team:
I would say the advantage is that we ve have helped hundreds of brand to go digital, we understand their expectations and they trust us. Also in my first company we were already using 3D and VR technologiesWe know that in terms of features everything will evolve, the more important is to listen to the market and be very flexible to what our users and retailers are expecting
But what is key is that at the core of our project, we put in balance the suer and retail experience
The idea is that Metamall becomes part of the ecommerce 3.0

I think MetaMall is the first project working on VR 🤔

Metamall Team:
It will not be VR exclusive as we want to widen the user base, but VR plays an important role yesSahan Ray:
VR takes the experience to next level. We expect may types of users actually, including ones who can be passive investors to active gamers

4. Your project is still in early stages. Can you please share your marketing strategies as $Mall isn't listed anywhere.
Also share tokenomics of $Mall if possible!
Metamall Team:
Yes its in early stage but we have already received an overwhelming response from the investor community and we are launching our IDOs end of this month
I can say we are very well surrounded by our investors and advisors and this reflects in our online marketing presence which is higher than we excpected
We have launched the NFT Land Presale and as you know we had a great feedback from the community.
And we are already listed in Coin Market Cap🚀
Sahan Ray:
Yes. We are at early stages. Right now we are on one hand building the design, VR and blockchain integration. On the other side we are working with investors, communities and launchpads to prepare for a successful IDOCan confirm that we have closed 3 launchpads already
Our marketing will be through KOLs, communities and launchpads, our social media channels (already more than 50k followers in TG, Twitter) and direct and co-branding activities

Coming to the last question
5. How long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from MetaMall? If possible could you please share roadmap with us.
Sahan Ray:
We have working on the idea since May 2021Milestones till now: 1. Conceptualization and design framework 2. Tokenomics and vesting schedules 3. Core team building 4. Initial brand partnerships 5. Fund raising
You would expect to see commerce on platform in 5-6 months. Before that you will see a successful IDO and exchange listing, partnership announcements, previews of stores and gaming arcades

The development is still in process and we are following the current roadmap, all the team is quite excited!!!
In short what you can expect from Metamall is a new way to approach online commerce, much more experiential, in a gamified way and totally decentralised, that's how we see the future of Metamall

1) Gaming sector is extremely competitive & many platforms had to work very hard to reach their current user numbers. How will #METAMALL team compete with the existing gaming platforms & what extra features will #METAMALL offer to attract the gamers from the other platforms?

We understand that gaming sector is extremely competitive, but we dont position ourselves as game developers, we are more a mall that uses the combination of Metaverse/gaming/Retail to provide a new kind of experience for the user as well as for the retailerWe do not plan to launch our games, but to collaborate with gaming partners that be integrated into Metamall in different ways
Sahan Ray:
Yes. However web 3.0 like gaming or social networking will have exponential growth in users. We are not only gaming of course. Brands on Metamall already will come with large following. There will be celebrity and other events and many moreWe see great value in a project that brings brands, events, gaming and social fantasy in one place enabled by crypto and NFTs
The key to success wil be 1. Right team delivering strong product 2. Right set of partners 3. A strong strategy for wealth creation

2) Now that technology is changing every second, are you afraid that in the future "metamall" will be abandoned by new projects with newer technology? Do you have any plans for this?
Metamall Team:
It will be abandoned if we dont listen to the market and adapt accordinglyI ll give an analogy
Imagine if you launch an ecommerce website and the you say, "OK its done, so I have nothing else to develop". You will definitely fail
Uzma:
True hundred percent
Technology old even if its only one month to released
Metamall Team:
The more you go, the more development you will have to includes new features, create more integration, enhance the experience. And whats really important is to ask ourselves "why users will choose Metamall?" ... Everything we do should be to solve thisSahan Ray:
Not really as tech will change but not the vision and mission of the productTech enables and gets embedded in a great product
Like television or streaming doesn't replace football, but takes it to new audiences and enriches experience
Uzma:
3) Is there any upcoming IDO, Pre-sale or Airdrops for Community members? Can you share the latest achievement of your project?
Sahan Ray:
Yes IDO is this month. We have closed 3 launchpads, might take 1 more. We will make the announement soonOur concept, design, tokenomics and strategy has seen very good investor interest. Early days but that gives us lot of confidence
Metamall Team:
As mentioned earlier, we have launched the NFT Land Presale and we got a really great interest, we still have some left but that should be sold out in the coming days,In terms of achievement, I would say the last 30 days we spent a lot of time in getting investors on board, advisors, increasing the team, increasing marketing, ... Its a really exciting moment even if we didnt have a sing minute for anything else. As I said to my family, I hope Ill have some time for christmas and new year next year 😊

4) Collaborations and partnerships are some of the most important cornerstones to help improve adoption. Can you tell us about your current partners, plans for partnerships and what everybody stands to gain from these partnership??
Sahan Ray:
We have a set of brand partners of which we will make announcement soon. We have design partners. Solana is our blockchain paltform. We are working with number of launchpads and gaming partnersAmong investor partners, the list is on website. We have 316VC, MarsVC, KON Ventures and many more
Metamall Team:
In my company called Moksha, Im working with more than 200 brands, helping them to go digital, I would say today the brands are waiting for us and not the opposite, because they know that we understand their expectation as we ve don the job on digital .What they have to gain is massive, we are creating for them a new sales channel through Metamall
You know , in some cases brands have started their digital little bit too late, and the result is that their Customer cost of acquisition was high, so they dont want to repeat the same mistake
Uzma:
5) According to your website, Metamallers can have their own high street, lounges and game zones. So Can Users organise, host and win competitions on the Metamall as well as shop, meet and engage with friends?
Sahan Ray:
Of course. That's the ideaThat's why the land types are very differentiated
A large land parcel (chateau) owner can actually build this own gaming arcade or stadium
The value of the platform represented by the value of token and land goes up with more users and activities so that why with users engaging broad set of actitivies we see a organic increase in value

We also add a lot of excitement from the brands to plan their fashion show, create experiential activities and to cross competitions between their offline/digital/metaverse channels

Virtual reality is booming. Virtual Reality is a trend. This has become a popular topic lately. Is MetaMall following that trend? Or are you ready to enter this space?
Sahan Ray:
I think VR is here to stay, it is not just an artifical boom. The reason is that it fundamentally improves the quality of experience over what you would do with smartphones or laptopns. For us, it is one of the enables but we are not VR exclusive. Our concept definitely got a boost for VR but we are not chasing the VR or crypto boom
2) Anna:
Your project has an incredible anthem and strong community support. In the future will there be other hymns or similar proposals to keep the community entertained?
Metamall Team:
Community is a critical aspect not only of Metamall, but of the decentralised world. We are building this together, so we dont exist without you. We will definitely keep the community entertained, stay tuned...
3) Hareem Fatima:
Are you a global project or local project? At present, which market are you focus on, or is it focused on building and growing to gain customers, users and partners? Can anybody anywhere use this project without Any restrictions???,,,,,
Sahan Ray:
It is a global project. There can be some geo-enabled features. Our brands are looking at global audience. Some restriction on experiences like gambling can be geo-restricted
4) Tien Anh:
"Low Liquidity" is one of the most important problems that a project needs to solve. How will #MetaMall. team reward liquidity providers for facilitating the resolution of these issues? Hope you answer question !!!
Sahan Ray:
The NFTs on platform being valuable to brands, experience providers and users will organically increase demand for tokens thus improving liquidity for token holders. We also have kept a sizable token percentage to solve for same

For any crypto project, it’s success depends on a good idea and it’s presentation in good manner. Nowadays many projects fail due to the lack of skills and understanding of how the cryptofiled works. Does your project have qualified team to reach all your goals in your roadmap?

The team and vision is critical, because at the end it’s all about execution. Right now we are in a hype, but what s really important is that we, as promoters, should focus on delivering what we promise, a better way to socialise and do commerce
