AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X METAPOO

MetaPoo is the first NFT-integrated DeFi protocol on Solana, giving our NFT intrinsic value tied heavily with every product in our ecosystem.
In addition, to ensure the decentralization for the community, MetaPoo will be a fairlaunch project with its products launched in turn based on a predetermined Roadmap to avoid price manipulation by whales and sharks (those who buy tokens early at a low price).

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about 'Metapoo' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Janel Francisquete:
MetaPoo is the first NFT-integrated DeFi protocol on Solana, giving our NFT intrinsic value tied heavily with every product in our ecosystem.

As we know, in the last 2 years, NFT has become a new normal for virtual collectibles. People have spent millions of dollars trading NFT collectibles. However, we believe that NFT can be much more than just collectibles.

To increase the intrinsic value of NFTs, we have given specific features to MetaPoo's NFTs that allow holders to receive extra benefits just by holding or staking MetaPoo NFTs.

As a DeFi platform, we offer users with many products, for example DEX, staking pools, yield farming experience…

In a nutshell, MetaPoo is a protocol that combines both DeFi and NFTs. All MetaPoo's products are built on Solana, one of the fastest Layer1 Blockchains at the moment.

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Janel Francisquete:
MetaPoo's main products include:

- Auto Market Maker DEX, built on Solana.
- NFTs, NFTs Marketplace, and NFTs Auction House.
- Auto-compounding staking pools.
- DAO Mechanism for token holders.
- Decentralized Launchpad, which assists anybody who wants to use MetaPoo's platform for crowd-funding.

MetaPoo is a dApp between DeFi and NFT. Therefore, all DeFi and NFT projects are our competitors.

Poo Series is our first generation in the series of unique feature NFTs. Holders of Poo Series NFT can stake the NFT together with LP tokens, granting them a bonus $MTP reward alongside the normal staked reward.

In addition, to ensure the decentralization for the community, MetaPoo will be a fairlaunch project with its products launched in turn based on a predetermined Roadmap to avoid price manipulation by whales and sharks (those who buy tokens early at a low price), like existing DEX protocols.

MetaPoo will claim the benefit back to the users, becoming the new PancakeSwap.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Janel Francisquete:
Once again, my name is Janel Francisquete, CEO and Founder of Metapoo.

Talking a little bit about myself, I have graduated from 2 University, which is University of the Philippines Rural High School and Singapore Management University.

After that, I worked for Convergys as Information Technology Officer. Also, doing some blockchain projects aside.

Up until now, I’ve been working in the crypto industry for the last 5 years. I have worked on a few projects in the past, and after gathering some experience, I decided to create my own team and project. That is when MetaPoo comes to life.

I can say that MetaPoo has a really great team.

Our CMO, Leah Sutherland is the smartest woman I know. She had been working for Deloitte Digital and Microsoft in the past. And now, she is fully devoted to MetaPoo.

Our Tech Lead, Brian Wayne is deeply interested in product strategy, innovation, and execution in the Blockchain space. And he is thriving in driving projects, optimizing teams, developing advanced solutions, defining business strategies, and identifying acquisition targets.

Kevin Ming is our Technical Support and one of my dearest friends. His model is "Communication is the path to successful relations and career opportunities. Passionate in helping others to grow and learn."

With the support of this excellent team, MetaPoo has accomplished many successes so far. In the next few days, you can see the result with our 1st open NFT sale.

4) Now Share us about your Native tokens, What are the some of utlities of $MTP in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Janel Francisquete:
MetaPoo is a fair launch project. There is no pre-sale, no angel investor, and no pre-mine.

The majority of the MTP tokens will be distributed to various stakeholders that create value for the MetaPoo ecosystem.

There are currently four primary utilities for MTP tokens:
- Secure value through platform economic benefits
- Participate in the governance process
- Earn rewards in partner protocol tokens
- Participate in MetaPoo Lottery and Prediction

In the future, we will continue to add more utilities of MTP, thereby increasing its value. More details will be announced soon.

And of course, to keep our customers with us, the token price will be the crucial factor. We will do everything we can to ensure the token price can satisfy our customers.

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Metapoo? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Janel Francisquete:
MetaPoo has been built from Q2 2021, and now we are now launching the project.

The 1st generation of MetaPoo NFTs were open for Sale fews days ago, March 8th, 2022 to be exact.

We will launch our staking/farming pools for users to stake their assets and earn rewards, estimated on March 15th, right after we finish the Airdrop Event. More and more pools will be added one after the other.

After that is MetaPoo DEX, which helps users easily swap their token and stake without the need to leave MetaPoo.

Then, we will introduce DAO Mechanism for token holders and Decentralized Launchpad, which assists anybody who wants to use MetaPoo's platform for crowd-funding.

And to answer your question, MetaPoo's ultimate goal is to claim the benefit back to the users, becoming the new PancakeSwap.

Ramsy:
1) Partnership and Collaboration are backbone in making every project more widespread.Can you list some of ur partners with us?Please provide more information on your ROADMAP. What are most anticipated plans and events for next few days and months that we should be aware of?

Janel Francisquete:
As said above, MetaPoo will be a fair launch project. Therefore, we don’t have any Investors, Ventures Capital, or any of the sort. MetaPoo is fair for everyone.

But of course, in the crypto world we need strong partnership and collaboration. Currently we are working with many potential partners in DeFi and NFT.

As a DeFi project, in the future, we will have many partners which will have their token in our Staking/Farming Pools. We will announce the partnerships anytime it’s available. So please stay tuned.

Ramsy:
2) How do you convince Metapoo holders that their investment is secure within your platform? And also your smart Contract has been already audit?. Can you tell us more details about the audit? Can anyone access to the locked liquidity pool on pancakeswap?

Janel Francisquete:
We know that Security is the biggest problem in the Blockchain industry. Therefore, we will audit all of our Code and Staking/Farming pools to ensure users’ safety.

As part of our internal security process, all major features will also go through an audit prior to being released.

3) Many projects look great only on their whitepaper and Roadmap but face many difficulties when trying to implement the project mission and end in failure. How does your project overcome every obstacle in its project development?

Janel Francisquete:
MetaPoo team is in love with Blockchain technology. We aim to share the best of Blockchain with everyone. Seeing the adoption of DeFi and NFT, we can’t help but attempt to combine these two into one family.

MetaPoo is a DeFi project, so the most important thing is community. The more users we have, the stronger we become.

That’s why we value our users and put the governing power into users’ hands by making it a fair launch project. And ofcourse, to keep our customers with us, the token price will be the crucial factor. We will do everything we can to ensure the token price can satisfy our customers.

MetaPoo, in the long run, will become a community governed protocol that operates similarly to a DAO. Governance Token of MetaPoo – MTP will empower holders to vote and decide how the protocol will work. More information will be announced at Q2, 2022.

4) You said that MetaPoo's NFTs are designed to address 2 issues by tightly integrating NFTs into DeFi’s products, thereby ensuring that MetaPoo's NFTs will always have an intrinsic value and liquidity will always be easy. Could you mention that 2 issues?

Janel Francisquete:
Most current NFT tokens are not guaranteed by traditional assets, making most people think that NFTs are meaningless tokens with no intrinsic value. However, non-fungible tokens have a lot of use cases, which makes us believe that it has a significant intrinsic value.

The primary value of NFTs comes from the fact that they are unique assets, encrypted, and cannot be counterfeited. Scammers can fake a bag, a luxury watch, money, or a rare painting. An NFT, on the other hand, cannot be faked.

The next value of an NFT usually comes from its scarcity. NFTs typically have a limited supply, and when the supply-demand balance is off, the price of NFTs rises consequently. The intrinsic value of an NFT stems from the fact that someone will always desire to own it.

Aware of that, MetaPoo is one of the leading protocols in combining DeFi and NFTs. NFTs of MetaPoo all have intrinsic value and will be tightly integrated into its MetaPoo’s products.

For example, NFTs from our 1st NFT series, the Poo Series allow you to achieve much higher APR% on your liquidity positions. Users just need to stake them together with LP and single asset tokens to receive boosted rewards.

MetaPoo will release many types of NFTs in the near future, so please stay tuned.

5) Yield Farming, despite the profitability, it always comes with the risk of Impermanent Loss for every user. How is Yield Farming more safe and more secure for users of Metapoo? How different and unique will yield farming in Metapoo be? What innovative features will there be?

Janel Francisquete:
Yield farming is a means of earning interest on your cryptocurrency, similar to how you’d earn interest on any money in your savings account. And similarly to depositing money in a bank, yield farming involves locking up your cryptocurrency, for a while in exchange for interest or other rewards, such as more cryptocurrency.

It is true that despite the profitability, it always comes with the risk of Impermanent Loss.

MetaPoo’s Yield Farming platform is one of our main tools to primarily incentivize Liquidity Providers, by rewarding them with our native token, MTP. Our Yield Farming platform is also support NFT Staking. By stake NFTs from Poo Series to farming pools, users can further increase the reward receive.

As you see, even when facing the risk of Impermanent Loss, you still can overcome it with our yummy boosted reward.

MetaPoo will become the fastest growing DEX on Solana, so the more liquidity stay on our DEX, the more users can trade without worrying about slippage.

Your project name seems to be very interesting. Does it have any story behind it? Can you share us with the inspiron for approaching to this name??

Interesting question!
MetaPoo team is in love with Blockchain technology. We aim to share the best of Blockchain with everyone. Seeing the adoption of DeFi and NFT, we can’t help but attempt to combine these two into one family.
For some people, NFT is considered to be worthless, they have no "real" value. We disagree.
And MetaPoo is our response to those people, together we can turn Sh** into Gold. That is the whole ideal of MetaPoo, bringing value to our dear customers.

Southeast Asia is a very vibrant market and there are many new platforms under development. So what do you think about Southeast Asia and do you have plans to grow there?

Janel Francisquete:
For those of you who don’t know, I was born in Southeast Asia, the Philippines to be exact. Also, I have graduated from 2 Southeast Asia Universities, which is University of the Philippines Rural High School and Singapore Management University.
I, myself think that Southeast Asia is a very promising land, with lots of opportunities. But we all know that blockchain is worldwide and MetaPoo is for everyone, so we can not stop here.

✅ Why does Metapoo employ the Solana blockchain, rather than BSC, HECO, or any other blockchain benefits with your product?

Janel Francisquete:
Why Solana?
Well, Solana recently has been attracting considerable attention due to its advantages of being a layer 1 blockchain. With extremely fast speed and low transaction fees along with the ability to scale up enormously, Solana has become the ideal layer 1 for dApps.
Furthermore, NFT on Solana is considered a normal standard Token, thereby enabling much more metadata to be stored within. Thanks to this, we can add more features to our new generation NFTs. As you will see, NFTs will become an essential part of our products, indicating that the NFTs mechanism of Solana is a true game-changer.
