AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X METASPACE
MetaSpace is a 3D virtual metaverse where users can interact, play games, attend concerts, sell and trade NFTs in a decentralized manner. The metaverse that we are aiming to build will indulge virtual worlds leveraging a combination of tech including Polygon blockchain. We want to reflect a trend of not any one specific type of technology, but rather a broad shift in how we interact with technology. MetaSpace includes virtual reality—characterized by persistent virtual worlds that continue to exist even when you’re not in it—as well as augmented reality that combines aspects of the digital and physical worlds.
We hosted an AMA session with MetaSpace on 7th March.

1. What exactly is MetaSpace and why should someone join?
Meta Lord:
MetaSpace is a 3D simulated metaverse of virtual worlds that encompasses an AAA game, celebrity concerts, shopping, and more. Metaspace metaverse is far beyond one’s imagination as it encourages its users to embark on the journey of the new reality by allowing them to socialize, play, trade, attend virtual concerts and monetize their virtual experience - all under one roof. The users, moreover, will be able to create their own metaverse ecosystem in Metaspace.

2. What is the Tokenomics of MetaSpace?
Meta Lord:
Metaspace's decentralized currency is a powerful multi-utility token that participants will use to exchange tokens in a decentralized manner. Introduction of Metalord (MLD) aims to provide a convenient and secure mode of payment and settlement between ecosystem participants, without the need for an intermediary organization like a centralized third party. The max supply of the Metalord (MLD) is 10 billion. Only 2.5 billion coins IDO are in the initial circulation. Initial liquidity is added 100 percent; there is no presale, private unlocks, or developer holdings. The remaining 7.5 billion coins are in the Play/Stake Earning Pool. This creates more value for our tokens because there is a short supply from the very beginning.This benefits the users as it allows all of them to have an equal chance to explore, play, socialize and earn tokens and profit from it. To create a valuable NFT based metaverse, we needed to have the right mix of Tokenomics. 3. As a start, I would like to ask you a general question, so please tell me a little bit about yourself, your team, and what references you looked at before creating MetaSpace
Meta Lord:
To bring the vision of our project to life it was important to have a dedicated and passionate team. As MetaSpace is a metaverse that includes multiple functionalities into its ecosystem, we needed a diverse group of people from all backgrounds that will bring their past experiences to make MetaSpace the best in the market. So some of the major team members that make up the meta family strong and achievable include- Mo Akram, Founder of MetaSpace who is also a blockchain expert, Bibin Babu, the COO of MetaSpace and the first generation entrepreneur, and many more industry experts are involved with us who are working hard to make the dream into a reality.We firmly believe that Metaspace is the future and can take the metaverse into the next steps of our society where everyday people can make a living or extra income in a virtual world. Some references we looked at while creating MetaSpace come from popular movies and shows like Ready Player One, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Star Trek and The Martian.

4. How does your Project differentiate from the competitors?
Meta Lord:
This is one of my favorite question.MetaSpace is different from competitors because it is the world’s first decentralized 3D metaverse; where users can explore, attend parties, play games and earn NFTs. It is a Metaverse where Superstar will also hold private music events and parties. The only real competitor out there that others would compare us to is Sandbox. Sandbox is heavily dependent on selling LAND to generate revenue, if LAND demand is down then SAND their native token will have their value decrease as well, since less users are spending large amounts of SAND to develop LAND. MetaSpace on the other hand does not solely rely on the sale of land, as MetaSpace has 6 revenue streams that it can rely on; Avatar Sales, In-metaverse asset sales, Token Trading, User subscriptions and services, Transaction Fees, and Advertising Revenue. Moreover, in MetaSpace users will have to consistently use LORD to upgrade their characters and enjoy other benefits. Most importantly MetaSpace will also be one of the few metaverse in the current market that will be released on PS5, XBOX and PCs.

5. Why did you choose dual tokenomics for your project? What is the aim behind it?
Meta Lord:
So, we have 2 tokens: LORD is the in-metaverse token and METALORD is the governance token. Since we are expecting many users to join, we can’t limit the supply of LORD tokens.Users can purchase assets and consumables using LORD. Whereas, the governance token is for the core members of the ecosystem who are the investors & will have power to vote on certain proposals.

1) There is still a wide gap between traditional players and blockchain gamers today. What are you doing to attract this group of people into the wonderful world of p2E games? Will beginners be able to navigate and play your games? What of the earnings will it be worth our time?.
Meta Lord:
With high end developers on our side, MetaSpace game is planned in a way that all sorts of audiences will be attracted to our platform. We’re combining the glamour of AAA games with the benefits of blockchain so as to provide the users with a holistic 3D experience. Thus, the wide gap between traditional players and blockchain gamers will blur with the coming of MetaSpace Metaverse’s 3D AAA game.

2) Almost 80% investors have just focused on price of token in short term instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us on motivations and benefits for investors to hold your token in long term?
Meta Lord:
MetaSpace is a 3D virtual metaverse with multiple offerings, one of the significant ones of which is our AAA community based game. By holding our token, you’ll be able to have a say in governance based decisions that will be implemented in the MetaSpace ecosystem. By doing so, you’ll be able to vote, exert your influence in MetaSpace and have a say in the proposals which will further direct the course of the project. We’re also planning to list ourselves on top cryptocurrency exchanges so that in future, you trade and earn more revenue.

3) As we all know, there are more and more gamefi projects in these days now. At the meantime,most of games are boring and simple.And players care about making money more than game it self. How about your gameplay and characters in game? How players can earn?
Meta Lord:
To break the monotony and develop something that is far beyond one imagination, we while creating our metaverse focused on every aspect it could deliver. One major element of MetaSpace while creating its AAA game was to provide a sheer gameplay adventure that could be followed by some rewards as well for the players putting their efforts and time. The whole game is centered around an infinity space lifestyle wherein each player will have to earn, build, trade, play, fight and challenge other mates. To add more personal touch to the game, MetaSpace is allowing players to create their own digital avatars capable of doing everything like humans and beyond. Meanwhile, players can earn by hunting, taming the wild animals, daily logins, trading of NFTs, exploring the game and more.

4) What are your metaspace advantages over other projects? Is it from a security standpoint or is it the technology you’re using? What are the other benefits of your project? Do you believe that your project is worth choosing? The answer to this question, please, is important to me.
Meta Lord:
While many are already jumping into the metaverse, it is important to highlight how we at MetaSpace are building our own metaverse that would make it better than the existing ones. Our project, in fact, has got everything that makes it unique and worth choosing by developing a highly anticipated simulated metaverse that promises a multifaceted experience to all its users – all under one roof. Each and every individual visiting our metaverse will have the benefit of explore-to-earn, shopping, entertainment, holy expeditions, gaming – all virtually and while confined to homes. There would also be trading of NFTs in the form of an in-metaverse asset in the MetaSpace ecosystem with guaranteed security and ownership.

What kind of partnerships with different projects/platforms/protocols can we expect from METASPACE in the future?
Meta Lord:
MetaSpace hasn’t dived too deep into this subject yet, as we believe our main focus should be to get the NFTs released as soon as possible for users to start staking and earning Metalord and release the beta version as soon as possible as well. Once that is completed we are expecting to partner with other metaverse projects that would like to be part of our ecosystem that can help promote MetaSpace.
2) Aniket:
What’s your plan to bring awareness and exposure to potentially scale up to millions of users?
Meta Lord:
The biggest marketing plan is to build a strong community on our social media platforms to teach and educate people about this Explore-to-Earn metaverse that is different from the current projects out in the market. We plan to aggressively do marketing campaigns and show trailers of teasers of what MetaSpace has to offer. We also plan to have celebrities from all over the world help market MetaSpace and have our community go and ask their favorite crypto and metaverse influencers or gamers to come check MetaSpace out and be part of our beta version.

Do we have to pay first in order to play the game, if so, then why?
Meta Lord:
In order to start playing the expansive metaverse game of MetaSpace, players must purchase two NFTs, one is the character NFT and the other is the land NFT. As most games are, you must purchase a character NFT in order for you to travel around the world. The Land NFT will have a safe zone with basic facilities like a safe house, a space shuttle, a processing unit, and a water production unit. With these two NFTs players can begin gathering ore and resources in order to start making money.It’s important for players to pay first in order to play the game because once someone has put money into the game they are incentives to play it more and earn rewards. If we made it free to play in the beginning, we are afraid that players would start programming bots to just mine resources and cheat the system into making money and making it unfair for regular players who don’t know how to, as seen in many other games . Whereas if you make players pay, we can in a way get rid of those programmers and get only real players to play our game which is beneficial for the ecosystem and economy of our game.
