Open Rights Exchange (ORE), built by the Open Rights (OR) Foundation, is designed to enable billions of people around the world to use blockchain applications for the first time within the next five years. Users will easily be able to control their identity, assets and rights across various on-chain and off-chain applications — with a single universal account. This universal account will be able to create and manage wallets on multiple blockchains. Each users’ universal account on ORE will also have the ability to manage their accounts on the centralized web. Next-generation applications, built using the ORE Protocol, will seamlessly connect users’ assets and rights across different blockchains, with the legacy internet and traditional financial infrastructure. The barriers between the decentralized world and centralized world will melt away.

We hosted an AMA session with ORE on 5th October.

Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Marc, CEO from ORE was the guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of ORE.
.
Segment 1️⃣: Introduction

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Hello everyone 👋 Welcome to Our Another AMA session With ORE Network

To help us learn more about ORE Network, We are lucky to be joined By Mr. Marc

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
hi!

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Hello Marc 👋

Welcome here Mate

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
thanks :)

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
First of all Can You Make a self introduction to the community?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
hi everyone!

I’m a five time startup founder or executive from the San Francisco, but I’m living in London now

AIKON is my first blockchain company

here’s my official bio

Marc Blinder is the Co-Founder and CEO at AIKON, and a core contributor to the ORE Blockchain. AIKON makes it easier for companies to launch products on public blockchains. AIKON is best known for its identity service, ORE ID, which connects non-technical people to blockchain apps using Web 2.0 identities, and ORE Vault, which helps teams manage token treasuries.

Marc ran his first company at 28 years old, a social network called Mobileplay (which he sold to Good Technology) and became Creative Director at Context Optional which sold to Efficient Frontier for $50M. At Efficient Frontier, Marc set up the social business across EMEA before the company was acquired by Adobe for $400M. He’s spent the last four years working on Blockchain technology with AIKON and ORE.

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Nice to meet you Marc 🤝

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
my pleasure

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Well I’m pretty sure that our Community is very much excited to learn more about ORE Network ✌️

So let’s get started if you’re ready!!

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
let’s do it :)

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Let’s see our first question from this segment

1. Make a concise and brief introduction about ORE Network. How it is playing it’s role in Blockchain Space?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
ORE Network is on a mission to accelerate mass adoption of blockchain by providing a universal wallet that works across different blockchains https://ore.network

The ORE Network itself is a registry of public keys, so it’s not a full layer 1, more of a layer 1.5

does one thing really well — key management and signing

And plugs in to lots of other blockchians where dapps and tokens live

One of the most important elementa of the ORE Network is ORE ID — which is a product that allows a developer to add social logins to their app where a user can create a walelt in the cloud instantly

that’s ORE ID — built on the ORE Network ^

super easy for average people to use

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Thanks for well defined 👍

Now Moving on to our next question from this segment

2. What are the features of ORE Network that makes it superior and special as compared to its competitors?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
Well a few things -

1) super focused — so it’s fast and cheap to operate. We do 5,000 transactions per second, without massive servers runnign the networ
2) the conenction between web 2 and web 3 identities

3) we allow companies to pay for their users — pay for wallet creation and gas fees, so they can start using NFT games or other apps right away

4) we also support webuthn on chain — which means we’ll soon allow biometric login. this isn’t live yet for users, but it’s built into the chain

I’d say those are the biggest things

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Cool ✌️

Congratulations on the latest funding round. So Marc Could you share how you achieved this important milestone? How do you plan to extend the benefits of this funding round to AIKON’s product ORE?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
Thanks!!! AIKON just announced our Series A

https://apple.news/AgOSJnxA8PiSwA0q9-QbREQ

It’s important that people know that everything AIKON builds is on top of the ORE Network

so this money is basically going to be used to expand usage on ORE — especially the ORE ID product

basically we’ll be investing in Sales, Marketing and Engineering

to make sure ORE ID is widley used and ORE can become the default solution for blockchian onboarding

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Now Share About OR Foundation, What is the Vision Behind This? And What are the main activities of OR Foundation?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
So the ORF is a non-profit dedicated to growing the ecosystem for ORE

all they do is give away ORE tokens to develoeprs and other partners, similar to the ethereum foundation

AIKON is like Consensys — for profit

and ORF is like Ethereum foundation

grants, that sort of thing

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
What is the driving force that makes AIKON’s product ORE Network so competitive?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
I think I got into this above ^

but the other item I would ad dis our awesome team

right now it’s mostly product and engineering

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Go ahead 👍

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
and we’ve been working for five years

on this — since 2017

you can see everyone’s bio on aikon.com or ore.network

but it’s a really great time

about 20 people right now

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Can you tell us about Your native token $ORE, what are its usecases and utilities in Your ecosystem? Also provide with us the tokenomics

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
sure

so the ORE Token is a classic utility token

companies that are using ORE ID to creat cross-chian wallets need ORE Tokens to pay the servers that run the chain

so if a game has 100,000 users today — they’ll use 1M tokens

and if they add another 100,000 users they need another 1M tokens

we’ll also be adding more governance features and voting on top of that

but the primary use of ORE is as a utility token

here’s the tokenomics:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wcetG3RusxoMYs5zG3uuvuyeYWNvPU-tgfGJ9fKS-50/edit#gid=425873730

and of course there was a lot more info on the whitepaper on ore.network

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Lastly, What ORE Network achieved so far and what important updates and developments we’ll get in coming future in ORE Network?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
well we currently support Polygon, Ethereum, WAX, Telos, and Algorand

We have over 200,000 users

and we’re still building eveyr day

next up is a major partnership with Avalanche (AVAX)

and we’ve got some big news with Telos coming soon as well

you can follow us to stay in the loop:

and also ORE is listed on Uniswap, Quickswap and Pancake Swap

and Bitmart

with another bigger CEX coming soon

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ore-network

make sure you get the right one though, there are some fake $ORE tokens out there

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Note that Guys ‼️

Thanks Marc for this well detailed introduction about ORE Network

And that’s the wrap up of our the first part of the AMA session ✅

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
my pleasure

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Let’s now proceed to our Twitter Questions section

I Know you’re ready for that!! 😇

Aren’t you?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
yeah

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
So let’s start 🚀

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

1.You have stated in your WHITEPAPER that, “ORE doesn’t just make cross-chain identities a reality, it makes cross-chain DeFi and NFTs a reality.” So, what are your plans with regard to DeFi? Will ORE ID give users a self-sovereign credit score that they can use to access credit, borrow and invest?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
great question

we want to stick to doing our cross-chain identity really well

so we’d prefer to integrate with other companies that are doing credit scores and other DeFi protocols

we love the idea and want to help make it easy to uise and accessible for the mass market

but we won’t build it ourselves

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
2.Great backing and partnerships in the crypto market might bring huge benefits to new projects. During this point, can you tell us about the investors and partners of ORE Network at this point?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
The biggest investors right now are the ones in the Series A, which are huge — Morgan Creek Digital, Blizzard — the Avalanche ecosystem fund, Alpha Edison, Mighty Capital, Hestia Investments, etc.

We had a token pre-sale as well last year, but most of those buyers were actual utilty users of the system rather than investors (which is awesome!)

you can see more about our partners on our website our on our blog

blog.aikon.com

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
3.How does ORE Vault, the B2B crypto wallet built on the ORE Network, enable us to manage NFTs? Can you explain how ORE Network adopts and supports NFT technology?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
So in gneral our biggest NFT projects are ORE ID projects actually — speicfically NFT games

like Red Fox Labs, Exotopia, NFT battle miners, etc.

but ORE Vault is a multi-sig product

so comppanies can use it to manage their holdings of NFTs

like investment companies specifically

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
4.Could you please tell us, what tools does ORE Network offer that will allow it to be competitive in the market and attract the attention of users for a long time, besides this, could you also tell us if they offer any kind of rewards within this platform?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
so I think we got into the differentiators above

1) super focused — so it’s fast and cheap to operate. We do 5,000 transactions per second, without massive servers runnign the networ
2) the conenction between web 2 and web 3 identities

3) we allow companies to pay for their users — pay for wallet creation and gas fees, so they can start using NFT games or other apps right away

4) we also support webuthn on chain — which means we’ll soon allow biometric login. this isn’t live yet for users, but it’s built into the chain

one of our partners Alliance Block

did a DeFi offering for ORE Token holders as well

so you can be rewarded for pooling liquidity there

hang on let me check that link

https://ore.defiterm.io/

yeah that’s right ^

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Let’s hear our last question from Twitter

5.ORE ID breaks a user’s digital footprint by generating connectionless blockchain identities per application. Does it work like some kind of VPN? Does ORE ID provide complete privacy and identity protection?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
hi this is a great question!

so what we do today by default is create new public keys for each app a suer is using, so they can’t be cross-correlated

one DEX for example, can’t see what games you’re using

however, we’re going to offer a new option for users soon

where they can decide whether to reuse account sor protect their privacy per app

to blaance convenience and privacy a little better

so each person can choose for themselves

also we didn’t get a lot of questions about security today, but I wanted to share this case study of how we use on-chip encryption in new ways to protect user’s keys

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Impressive 👌

That’s the wind up of our twitter segment

Now Moving on to our last segment — Live Q&A

Shall We Marc?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
yeah- but we’ll have to make it quick:D

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Alright 👍

Segment 3️⃣: Live QnA
(In this segment group was opened for 60 seconds and Miners sent hundreds of questions. Guest choose some best to answer)

1) Sonia:
Is your project a community only for English speaking an countries or for users not of other languages?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
I’m glad you asked this! We’ve just chosen a translation firm to help us with other languages. Starting with SImplified Chinese and Latin American Spanish. Eveyrthign ORE does works around the world, but we haven’t done a great job markeitng in different languages yet. So yes we want to be a global community and we’re working to make it better.

2) Tanish Singla:
Can u briefly describe about integration process of nfts to ore ?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
great question — our system is designed to make it easy for developers to integrate

there’s a website developer.oreid.io with docs for how it works

and there’s a demo that anyone can use if they want to see what the end experience looks like anyway

demo.oreid.io

you don’t need to be a develoepr to use the demo ^

3) ฿itvariant•°•:
Do you plan to focus on onboarding users and project from certain regions or do you wish to go global and onboard users from every corner of the world?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
yeah we do want to appeal to a global community, righht now our biggest user bases are in Southeeast Asia, America and Central America, so it’s already a little global, but we do want to make go even bigger

4) Chukky:
You just revealed a $10 million Series A funding. Kudos!
What effects has this funding had on the project thus far?
Will the fund be utilized for all of the ecosystem’s products or just the ORE ID product?
Are there any new surprises for the community?
What should we anticipate?

Marc ⚡️ ORE Core Team:
we’re already expanding our hiring efforts and we’ve started our major partnership with Avalanche (AVAX)

the funds will be utilized for people mostly

engineers, sales, marketing, everything we need to scale the business

*This segment ends here*

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
