Introduce yourself please. How did you get to be involved in crypto & Orica ?

Karim:
Great, my name is Karim i am the co-founder of Orica.

I studied IT at the university of vienna and i am was since them interested in alternatives in the blockchain world.

I have invested in ICOs and could directly experience what makes good and bad projects. Then I helped with a project called energi to do market analysis, so I got deeper into what was happening. Until I quit my job at the austrian government to dedicate myself to the crypto space.

When I first heard about NFTs i saw many oppurtunities, so it was 100% clear that i want to jump on this.

So can you give a brief explanation about 'Orica' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this space?

Karim:
A lot of things. Specially when i first heard about NFTs, i knew i was going to do something there. I just had a short meeting with my team and then it started.

Orica aims to use blockchain to change how we interact and also behave as consumers.

Right now most countries struggle with employment or with envoiromental impact. The world is trying to find a solution for that. Many people are using online shipping houses to buy products, like Amazon. Most of the products have a environmental impact.

At Orica we see these things coming and provide a marketplace where businesses and creator can sell their products as NFTs that people can redeem.

Our aim is to make it as easy as possible to buy NFTs.

With our products called ASPECT companies can move away from paper and use directly the blockchain to verify informations, such as tickets.

Sounds impressive 👏 So what are your main features that discern you from other projects and what robust advantages do you have?

Karim:
The biggest advantage is that sets us apart from all other NFT projects is that we are an existing company from austria that already has many years of experience in crypto.

For NFT developer there will be many new ways to realise their ideas, through our Initial NFT Offering, any creator, artist or musician, can publish their idea and start crowdfunding. By the way, creators only pay the fees if they have actually sold their products. that is actually a big advantage for newbie's in the NFT section. That's how we want to attract more people to use NFT.

The advantage for investors is that our token has a small market cap of $300k. We also have a deflationary supply.

Great ! 👌can you provide an overview on Virtual Exchange On Orica?can you explain the concept 'Exchange of goods through blockchain' ?

Karim:
We believe that NFTs are more than just art. Orica will offer art, as well as tickets to the next barcelona game. If your parents ever go by train, they should rather buy the tickets on the blockchain from Orica. The blockchain is the foundation, everything else is infinite.

So how has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Karim:
Well, i first heard about Bitcoin through Danial, our CEO, in 2015. We invested in many ICOs back then and lost a lot of money. Over time, we understood what makes a good ICO. We have experienced crypto experts in the team, as well as people who didn’t know what bitcoin could do before Orica. This makes our team extremely strong.

We deal with extremely complex requests, such as the multi-bridges on our platform, as well as questions about what colors our logo should have.😂 I'm lucky that some of the team are lazy and want to do things quickly. Our team makes many mistakes, which has the advantage that we always have something to improve. I see a daily increase in the team and that makes me happy.

Karim:
Of course, total supply is 100 million and 15% of that is for presale.

10% of presale will be unlocked after presale and then monthly in equal installments for 6 months.

So how long does it take to develop a project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Orica? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Karim:
Not as long as expected. We were always optimistic that we could achieve a lot with few resources. We set up a strict plan right from the start, so there were almost no buffers. We doubled our team to 15 people immediately after our seed phase. Half of them are in development for our products.

We are currently developing our NFT marketplace with the INO feature I mentioned above. At the exclusive launch of the NFT marketplace in Q4, 100 active NFT partners will be already using our platform. We will also have our own app for Android and iOS in Q4.

We have a strict development process where we focus on efficiency. For me, the quality of the product is more important than anything else.

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

1)Does your project supports
Local community and what are the plan for awareness of project where english is not spoken?

Karim:
At Orica we see these things are coming, i came from turkey last week, i saw people are selling handmade products for less than $1. I thought how cool would it be if that would be an NFT, more people would see it on Orica. 😂

We will provide a marketplace where local farmers can sell their products as NFTs that people can redeem.

With our product called ASPECT companies can move away from paper. This is only a small step with big envoirmental impact. We will release ASPECT next week on our YT channel.

2) Without proper marketing and capital infusion, project dies, how do you convince people that you have adequate marketing power and capital to push this project to the beyond?

Karim:
We had a successful seed phase in april without doing any major marketing with only a paper with 20 page where we wrote down our vision, we call it today whitepaper 😂. We know that our product has a benefit. We focus on the fact that the product fits, the rest follows.

We are not entirely dependent on presale. Before Orica, we had already built up a company that still exists today. So Orica is not going to die. We have great partnerships, such as Benn Jordan and many more where we are in negotiation.

3) Why #Orica chose to built an NFT marketplace? Does #Orica planning to launched it’s own NFT game too?

Karim:
It was important that we start with a marketplace, we saw that there are more possibilities than just buying artwork or equipment for games. I wouldn’t rule out a game, but from today’s perspective, it makes more sense to adapt existing games in Oricas ecosystem. There are great developers that we will certainly work with.

4) “Exchange NFT’s with VERIFIED creators & collectors"
Since many NFT marketplace avoid KYC to make it more user "friendly",How will the verification on ORICA affect the user experience?
Will it be a tedious process to get verified in the platform?Could u pls guide us on this?

Karim:
Well, you don’t have to do verification if you don’t want to. we don’t force anyone to do it. To provide more security for buyers, we will verify that it is really the person behind a product. The process will be as usual that you have to provide the most important data.

5) “STAKING" is one of the STRATEGIES to ATTRACT USERS and HOLD Them long term. Does your GREAT PROJECT have plan about Staking??

Karim:
We will develop a new type of staking where users are rewarded for holding on our platform. One is every transaction on our platform will also distribute rewards through our smart contract.
