AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X PARADISE TYCOON

Paradise Tycoon is a Free to Play and Earn game which can be described as a unique hybrid between life simulation, like the ultra popular Animal Crossing, and Tycoon gameplay elements, such as in classic PC title The Settlers. Combine these with the best familiar game mechanics, very polished Low Poly 3D graphics, and a sustainable Play and Earn economy, and you have Paradise Tycoon. Paradise Tycoon presents a beautiful MMO world where players can gather resources, farm, build and craft items for their own use or to trade with others. Players can buy land and hire workers to make their life easier, or sell them as NFTs. In the meantime, they will be earning real money with MOANI token in a friendly and social metaverse.

We hosted an AMA session with Paradise Tycoon on 28th march.

Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Harri, Mr. Timmo and Mr. CK was the guests. They shared delightful knowledge and unique features of Paradise Tycoon.

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about ‘Paradise Tycoon’ .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Harri Karppinen:
Alright, good question! Simply put Paradise Tycoon is a beautiful online world where players can gather resources, farm, build and craft items for their own use or to trade with others.

Players can buy land and hire workers to make their life easier, or sell them as NFTs.

The players will also be earning real money with MOANI token in a friendly and social metaverse.

To wrap it up in a nutshell, Paradise Tycoon is a Free to Play and Earn game which can be described as a unique mix of games like the ultra popular Animal Crossing, The Sims and tycoon games like Idle Theme Park Tycoon. We combine easy-to-learn game mechanics, very polished cartoony 3D graphics, and a sustainable Play and Earn economy to create a perfect mix of old and new :)

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Timo:
Our approach to combine gameplay elements from the two genres has not yet been done in blockchain games, and as far as we know, not in mainstream games either. The tycoon genre is best fit for Play and Earn model with huge uplift from blockchain technology, while metaverse features creates a whole new set of opportunities for an MMO (massively multiplayer online) game. While there have been some farming themed games, we have yet to see Tropical Paradise themed games in Blockchain, even though the theme is proven quite popular in free-to-play games…

Also the look & feel of the actual gameplay will have the same production quality as any succesful mainstream game, something we have experience from as a team. And one more thing I want to mention. The game economy is balanced so that it will not crash, with cornerstone of a healthy player driven economy.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Harri Karppinen:
So, behind Paradise Tycoon there’s a mainstream Free-to-Play Games Company founded in 2017.

Our team members have over 70 years of experience in the games industry, and have worked together for years developing and publishing mobile games reaching top 10 download charts and amassing millions of players.

We have refined a fast and reliable development process, and can adapt new technologies quickly. In addition, the former experience in designing F2P tycoon games and game economy helps a lot in delivering a high quality Play and Earn game.

So we’re definitely built for this project! 🔥DONE!

Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utilities of $MOANI in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Timo:
Sure! The token can be used in-game to buy consumables or different items from vendor, to hire workers or rent land or to trade with other players for resources that can be used for building or crafting. Paradise Tycoon will have plenty of meaningful ways for the player to use the earned or traded $MOANI tokens…

and in addition to in-game use, the tokens can also be staked for APY or with NFTs to level up workers. The same token is also used for governance to vote at Town Hall on things that matter in Paradise Tycoon metaverse.

So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Paradise Tycoon If possible could you please share road map with us.

Harri Karppinen:
The project was started last year with a prototype for a tropical farming game. However, it wasn’t until early this year we focused all our company efforts on Paradise Tycoon. We are currently working on a testnet version and core loop game mechanics based on this prototype and are progressing well!

Our development team builds new versions for WebGL and Windows every day and the art team is currently busy creating some awesome environment and land assets.

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

Ramsy:
1) It’s fun that we can play in Paradise Tycoon while getting prizes. So, how can I start playing games in Paradise Tycoon? Do I need to download any app or is it on a website? Do you have free play features for non-NFT holders?

Here is our first question from twitter

Timo:
We have so called ‘games first’ approach, which means Paradise Tycoon is foremost a great mainstream quality game experience, a game people could play even without the Play and Earn element or NFTs or even to connect wallet to start playing. One of our missions is to reach new audience outside of crypto natives, so easy on-boarding is one of our key targets.

That said, the Play and Earn will definitely create a huge uplfit to the game, and once players do earn some $MOANI tokens or wish to start exploring the metaverse — we will give them the possibility to connect wallets etc., and guide them through out the process.

Paradise Tycoon will be available for PC, Mobile and browser. So whether you want to download an app or not, is totally up to you. 😎

Playing Paradise Tycoon will be actually enjoyable and fun!

2) Paradise Tycoon is a Free2Play & Earn game where players can gather resources, farm, build, and craft items for their own use or trade with others. So to join your games, what are your entry barriers? And how can we exactly earn real money here with your $MOANI token?

Harri Karppinen:
So, as Timo mentioned, no NFTs are required to start playing the game — we feel this is a very important aspect to onboarding.

However, to earn $MOANI you might want to spend some too to boost production, or buy seeds to farm more crops.

You can earn $MOANI daily by completing tasks, trading with the NPC trader, trade in-game items and resources with other players, or rent or sell land and workers to other players.

And there’s more! You can also earn $MOANI by participating in events such as Harvest Festival, a fun community engaging event where players gather specific crops and materials to the festival.

So there are a lot of options to earn!

Ramsy:
3) In Paradise Tycoon players can Build & expand lands as well as participate in “Harvest Festival”. Can you tell us more about the Harvest Festival? What are the conditions for players to take part in Festival? And what rewards can players get from this Harvest Festival?

Timo:
Yes! Harvest festival is one of my personal favorite features in the game. The harvest festival is a fun community engaging competition where players gather specific crops and materials to the festival. Participants will be rewarded based on their share of the total amount gathered. To be successful players need to manage their workers, make sure their tools are intact, react quickly to competition rules and manage logistics! All the players are eligible to participate!

In addition to Harvest Festival, the Port Ohana Harvesters Committee (POHC) hosts a range of events for players at different levels, both competitive and non-competitive where players can earn some extra MOANI coins.

Ramsy:
4) I understand that Paradise Tycoon is free to play game and its entertaining to be able to play Paradise Tycoon while earning prizes. So, how do I get started with Paradise Tycoon? Does it available first in PC? Or do you plan to have it in Smartphone Android and iOS?

Harri Karppinen:
It’s really important for us that Paradise Tycoon will be made available for as many platforms as possible.

We are currently developing the game for browser-based WebGL so it will already be very inclusive. You can start playing it with your PC for example.

We also have already implemented virtual joysticks and other methods to port the game to mobile & touch-based devices without keyboard & mouse.

We also focus on getting the game running on as low-spec devices as possible. As we’ve been making mobile games previously, we have a lot of experience in optimizing performance for a wide array of devices.

In the future, we will also look at other options, even consoles!

5) Paradise tycoon allowed players to interact and chat i hope this mechanism won’t allow our personal informations to be leaked more over I will like to know more about marketplace where can we see our NFTs

Timo:
That’s a very good question and important topic. The backbone of every solution we develop is security. We won’t be collecting unnecessary personal information.

Overall, I think the gaming experience should be secured but also fair for everyone, meaning we will also implement ways to prevent botting and scams which could become harmful for our goals to create a healthy player driven economy.

Regarding the Marketplace, we will first implement it on our website, and later in-game to a certain degree. The marketplace will be similar to what you can currently see in some other successful blockchain games, with a beautiful 3D map interacting with NFT sales.

The name of your project “Paradise Tycoon” seems pretty awesome. Is there a story behind the name?

Harri Karppinen:
Glad you like it! We wanted to pick a name that describes the style of the game as well as the theme. The name takes you to you to a tropical paradise but with a that promise of wealth and ‘better life’. Also I think it’s very informative when it comes to the genre of the game. 🐠🏝

2) Dr_faith:
Staking programme is very important for any project,? Can i stake your token $MOANI,? Do you have any plan of starting staking programme??

Timo:
We agree, it’s very important to create value for the token especially while still in development. Holders can stake $MOANI to participate in the NFT pre-sales for the best price, to earn APY or to send your workers to a Training Camp where they will gain experience and level up without having to do anything. When the workers return from the training camp you can assign their skill points and assign them to work!

3) Nahid:
Can you list 1–3 killer features of this project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about?

Harri Karppinen:
Great question! Here are 3 things we feel really separate Paradise Tycoon from the competition!
1. The look & feel of the actual gameplay will have the same production quality as any successful mainstream game.
2. The game design has unique elements in combining metaverse and free play and earn mechanisms.
3. The game economy is balanced so that it will not crash, and finally for the long term development roadmap that keeps bringing exciting new features and expansions for years to come.

I would add the promise of transparency from the Core Team!

Can you talk about the importance of the community and the value you place on them for your project? Do you take into account the feedbacks and suggestions of your community while creating your project?

Timo:
More than happy to! In the end this is a journey we can’t do alone so keeping our community happy and on board is our priority. To do so, we will interact with them as much as possible and make them feel they are part of our “extended” Paradise Tycoon family. We also have a high priority of thinking ways to reward our community members, as the feedback we get in return can make a big difference when developing the game! I could go on about this forever, but simply put… we ❤️our community!

5) Trump:
Reading your website and whitepaper, I really want to jump to Parasdise Tycoon right now, so are there any Beta versions for early players and how to join your IDO?

Harri Karppinen:
Awesome to hear! We are currently in internal alpha version and we love the game ourselves already, but it will take few more months to get to a (beta) stage where we feel confident to share the game to limited people in our community. When the beta comes out, we want the experience to be great already. The best way to ensure you will be part of this very exclusive group is to be active in our community. We haven’t yet announced the date for IDO, but again the best way to ensure you will not miss it is through following our social media channels and joining the community. In the roadmap it is scheduled for Q2.
