AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X POCKETPAY

PocketPay is a non-custodial crypto wallet that helps you access the world of DAPP and DeFi on the Solana Blockchain initially. PocketPay simply allows users to store their SOLANA-based assets/tokens securely. It will also enable users to make smooth transactions directly on Blockchain without any centralized mediator body. PocketPay introduces a unique way to interact users with merchants on POS sales. With the compatibility of SolanaPay, users and merchants will get the benefits of faster transactions in the decentralized world. PocketPay POS feature will enable users to read QR codes on physical stores to purchase using cryptocurrency. PocketPay POS is a mobile payment platform using which you can transfer cryptocurrency to a merchant account, reading QR codes for the purchase you made. PocketPay works on pure DEFI mode, which will utilize Blockchain to send realtime payment using cryptocurrency.

We hosted an AMA session with PocketPay on 11th March.

Hello everyone, it's my pleasure to be here with an awesome community. I'm Yogesh Trivedi, CEO of PocketPay Finance. With 15+ years of IT experience. I own a software development agency, working on different technologies along with the Blockchain.

With Solid IT and Blockchain background we are introducing PocketPay wallet based on Solana chain, supercharged with SolanaPay and ability to make decentralized payments in eCommerce world.

Q1) Can you give a brief explanation about 'PocketPay' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Yogesh T:
As I mentioned in intro we've capacity of developers and resources on Blockchain development, we did market analysis and brought up this idea based on the community survey results. And here we are introducing PocketPay Finance, a Solana-based mobile wallet supercharged with SolanaPay, making decentralized payments blazingly fast and eCommerce startup easy with the Pocket Launch program.

Our core focus is to spread awareness about decentralized payments and use cases in the eCommerce world to be precise. Q2) What are your main features and advantages that discern you from other projects?

Yogesh T:
PocketPay wallet is built on analysing the user's expectations. We've surveyed the market while it was in development, and we took some of the best suggestions from the community and implemented it in the wallet.

The feature that will attract users on using PocketPay wallet:

1. Non-Custodial wallets, users own the control
2. SolanaPay integrated that will make payments fasters
3. Wallet available both on Android and iOS
4. Facility to hide unnecessary assets from the main screen with a swipe to prevent long scrolls.

At the moment we are focusing on the current roadmap and Solana is used to built as first is with a vision in mind as we have features like Easy pay and Startup launch program with decentralized payments. This features required a scalable payment solution, so Solana is super fast and its payment feature Solana Pay.

Q3) How about your team been effective and efficient in the success of your project?

Yogesh T:
We are tech peoples and aware of the process of Blockchain and its security aspects. Team is solid on both backend and frontend development. We possess very good expertise in dealing with APIs securely. It’s our team efforts that we already delivered our devnet available on website.

Uzma:
4) Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utlities of $PPAY Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Yogesh T:
PPAY is utility token of PocketPay finance, helping us in managing various operation and revenue model of PocketPay wallet ecosystem. Please see next screenshot for more ideas on the project tokenomics.

It will be introduced upon mainnet release.

5) How long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from PocketPay? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Yogesh T:
On 16th Feb 2022, we launched our wallet devnet with complete integration of SolanaPay, NFT collectibles, multiple wallet support, Hide unnecessary assets and DAPPS.

In the next month, we are looking forward to ending the fundraising phase and moving on to listing PPAY on CEXs and DEXs.

In the future roadmap (q2 and q3), we'll be bringing Staking, NFT marketplace, swapping, and ecommerce startups launch programs.

More to come in terms of features, greater partnerships, collaborations, and listings will be seen with these developments.

1) Will Pocketpay Wallet has 2fa identification or any layered security to guarantee the safety of our wallets?

Here's the first question from twitter

Yogesh T:
PocketPay is non-custodial mobile wallet, security is device specific nothing related to users is stored anywhere on third party server. All the keys and password is within user device so it’s totally secured and safe. We have password authentication that is based on the touch sensors, pin number and the face read depending on the device support.

Uzma:
2) PocketPay is a decentralized non-custodial Wallet made with Solana Blockchain technology,does PocketPay only support assets or can only store assets built on the Solana network? Can PocketPay be a multifunctional wallet that can be used to store assets on all blockchain networks?

Yogesh T:
PocketPay mobile wallet is built on Solana with a vision in mind to introduce some of the best eCommerce and merchant specific features. The feature we are developing is only possible with the Solana Blockchain because of its high TPS and Scalability. We’ll be introducing eCommerce startups launch program utilizing the SolanaPay decentralized payment method.

Uzma:
3) Marketing is a central element for every project,so that everyone knows the potential that a project can bring is vital to achieving the goals set. What is your strategy to attract new users and investors to your platform and keep them long-term?

Yogesh T:
We’ve enough capacity of resources to market and fundraise our product. We understand that a product can't stand in market without marketing, we’ve huge PR and media campaign scheduled on launch of our mainnet that is probably happening in next month. We believe in partnerships to bring trust and trust itself will bring the community on the platform. We’ve something big in line for community, stay tuned.

Uzma:
4) Community is one of the backbone of every project especially the new project in crypto ecosystem. How do you value your community? What benefits will you provide to your community? Do you have any ambassador programs or referral program?

Yogesh T:
Community is important for any project, without users we can’t see a future of the product. With this in mind we'll be focusing on greater customer support and strategic partnership with big brands, groups and advisors, it will help us maintain community faith on our product. We’ve attractive referral programs for users joining our wallet on the initial stage.

5) Many projects have problems with UI / UX and this one turns off new users. How do you plan to improve the interaction with new users and with users outside the crypto space?

Before building the project we took a survey among the wallet community and built the wallet based on the votes. Also, our UI and UX designers have decades of experience building UI portals and apps for well-known brands. PocketPay wallet designed considering the greater market audience in mind to provide easy to access features.

✅How pocket pay work as payment gateway?
Is there any fiat payment gateway pocket pay support?

Yogesh T:
PocketPay is decentralized wallet and we have integrated the superfast SolanaPay in it which will help in making decentralized payment, for example at coffee shops, malls or online eCommerce websites. As far as fiat concerns we are in talks with few of the third party services to integrate their fiat buy/sell services into our wallet.

2) Itz Abhi ⚡️:
How can I support PocketPay? What is the benefit of holding your token? Where to buy?

Yogesh T:
Well we have many featured enriched plans for the holders, and one of it is the staking and its handsome rewards. Apart from this we are introducing the Easy Pay where holders will get exclusive rewards, coupons and awesome discounts on big brands.

3) CR7:
Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is it like this? If not can u tell us, What makes it different from other projects?

Yogesh T:
We have a vision and serious team behind the project. We focused on the product deliverable first before starting and investment rounds. Our product is already launched on devnet 16th of Feb 2022 last month.

According to the projects roadmap.What are your most important next priorities?

Yogesh T:
Since we launched our devnet as per the roadmap right now we are into Private fund raising round, we are seeing great interest in our product from the some of the biggest and well knows VC houses. You will see beautiful partnership announcements in coming weeks. Our Public IDOs are scheduled in next month along with the TGE and the biggest event of mainnet launch in April.

5) Albart Jack:
Can you Explain how is your Tokenomics Distribution? How many Tokens will be minted? and How many Tokens will be locked BY the Team??

Yogesh T:
Token is fixed to 100M in total supply. Private price is $0.08 and public is set to $0.1.
