Puffverse is a Disney-like dreamland of the 3D metaverse that aims to connect virtuality in Web 3 and reality in Web 2. Puffverse is a multi-end interactive universe with characters as NFT assets, allowing players to experience different content in different scenarios using their characters. Users can use their characters as NFT assets to experience different content in different scenarios. They can collect multiple characters with unique and diverse costumes, various characteristics, skills, bonuses, and more. Each character also has distinct specialties for different scenarios, such as specific skills, exclusive bonuses, and so on. Players can actually own, buy, sell, and trade the resources they acquire in-game, and the assets they own can be used in the products of the ecosystem to play, earn, or experience character life simulation. Each scene has its own mechanism and settings, and with the development of Puffverse, more products and use cases will be applied. Puffverse expects to create a fantasy carnival built on a decentralized economic ecosystem with not only web 3 technology and concept but multiple usage scenarios in both the meta-world and the actual world. 1. Can you Give us a concise and brief introduction about Puffverse!

Puffverse is a multi-end interactive universe with characters as NFT assets, allowing players to experience different content in different scenarios using their characters. To highlight! We are not a GameFi project, but we contain 4 main products which are PuffGo (Royale party game like Fall Guys and Stumble Guys, Web 2 players can also join without boundary), PuffTown (a Simulation game and also wallet integration and web 3 control panel to control all 3 products), PuffLand (UGC for game design, no coding needed), PuffWorld (UGC for metaverse building, no coding needed), also Passcard (SocialFi), etc.

So, it’s never too late to join Puffverse, especially since we are now in quite an early phase! PuffTown V1 and PuffGo Beta can both be playable during this time period, please note and I will explain more details in the following questions!

We don’t play to earn, but you will surely be rewarded for playing, it’s just not rewarding for every set of matches. One thing to note is that the modes and levels we released now are only a small portion of all modes. Stay tuned for the official version!

PuffGo Beta version is on Xiaomi App Store in the following areas: Spain, Turkey, Russia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. What are the Puffs and what characters are in game atm? What is the story behind Puffverse?

There are 5 main characters for Puffverse and each one of them has it’s own personalities. Their name are Patty, Claud, Ashe, Bill Duck and Pop.
Each character has their own advantages in Properties and abilities, for example, Patty usually has a higher “combat power” than Ashe, although Ashe usually out rank in “LUCK” value

So What a user need to start the game?

To enter the Puffverse game products, you need at least 1 Puff Genesis or 1 Puff Football NFT.

It’s been almost 25 days since the launch of PuffTown V1. Our users are really enjoying it. In the holiday season, we tend to have events/games that are more relaxed and not time consuming, so an Idle game is the best choice.

Note that there are no tokens within the PuffTown V1, but users can use 💎 to redeem points for the initial token distribution redemption. The redemption rate is 1 Diamond for 10 Points, the points are the same as the points you got from PuffGo Beta FIFA events. This is Puff’s way of IGO, initial game offering, which means if you participate in the games, you will be rewarded with the initial tokens.

This is to reward the early birds while they are playing and testing for us at the early stage. We think the test period is necessary, and one thing that’s different than the PuffGo testing stage is that — the levels and stars you get in PuffTown V1 WON’T be erased at the initial launch. There will be higher-level adventures as well as a higher level limitation at the official launch, with more ways to entertain, such as Coins raid, PVP, etc.

Lemme tell u know how PuffTown looks like and how to play in it:

Playing PuffGo consumes a lot of time, and you basically have to play it all day long for the ranks. PuffTown is relatively less time-consuming, because it is a simulation Idle game, and it means you only need to place your NFTs in the adventure and wait for the result.

First off, the main part to earn Coins and Diamonds is through the Adventure.

\You will choose the character (Puff NFTs) to join the adventure, and the adventures will refresh every time you refresh. Different adventures require different characters, so refreshing is a strategy for users to score the best.

When you enter the first adventure, you will see something like this👆, along with all your NFTs in the wallet down below. There are 3 kinds of NFTs here, the golden yellow one stands for Puff Genesis, the bronze one stands for Puff Football (The upcoming Puff New Year is in bronze too), and they are all Characters that can participate in all adventures. The purple one is Puff Classic, we normally use it to raise Puff Genesis, Puff Football, and Puff New Year, which means it is the food of those 2 NFTs. Note that Puff Classic can’t join the Rocket Venue that unlocks at Lv 30.

The first step you need is to choose an NFT to start the adventure, and kindly wait for the result. Different adventures require different time periods, some are 1h, some are 4h, and some are 12h or longer. But of course, the longer it takes, the higher reward it has.

The adventure has recommended levels and sometimes has recommended characters, if you meet all the requirements, your win rate will be high. If not, it’s gonna be low. And if it’s really low, there won’t be Coins or Diamonds after the adventure, but you do still get experience.

This is the reward list of the first easy adventure, we will rate you a rank after you finish the adventure and give you certain rewards.

So the goal is for you to earn Coins & Diamonds for your address, and Experience for the NFT you used. Other than this, you might get extra rewards by chance. You might get Treasure Chests, and it requires a certain period of time to open it. If you want to speed it up, you can use your coins to do so. But be careful, because there might be empty ones. The chests will also give you more Coins and Diamonds.

You can have 4 Treasure Chests at the same time. There are 5 types of Treasure Chests: Normal Chest, Excellent Chest, Rare Chest, Legendary Chest, and Ancient Chest. Different chests require different times for opening. You can use Coins to speed up the process.

For Coins you get:
You can use them to level up and raise your NFTs. You need coins to level up, and Puff Classic & Diamonds to raise your NFT. Puff Classic NFTs can be obtained by hatching eggs, and the initial eggs can be obtained by airdrop.

For Diamonds you get:
At last, you will be able to use Diamonds to exchange for points, 1 Diamond can get you 10 points. This point is the same as your PuffGo Beta points, for the redemption of the initial tokens. The unused Diamonds will be automatically exchanged to points before the initial launch.

Well, lemme tell you our background story and how Puffverse is created in the first place.

In short, it’s because of dream vs reality. The dream is pretty simple, as the crypto market being bullish since the end of 2019, everyone has a dream to step right in and build their own project here. But when we saw a lot of projects who didn’t really have an outstanding game or product but only a good tokenomic model, we knew we’d do better because of how strong our development team is. The reality didn’t hit us, but only was the catalyst of realizing the Puffverse.

Starting from 2019, due to the limits imposed by the epidemic, the majority of people worldwide are unable to travel as freely as before, but the socialization need still remains. With 300 million users worldwide, Xiaomi is a user-centered platform where quality content and platform will complement one another to create positive feedback in a loop. As a result, a team from Xiaomi decided to expand the investment in content production while choosing this track in the medium casual competitive category given the overall situation at the time (COVID-19).

Hopefully, this will increase the viscosity of the platform and product users. The team also collaborated with Unity to develop the underlying framework of the product and designed a full set of Unity technology to realize the product planning. Unity provided all the technical support for the Puff project, and the best TA team in the world was brought in to realize the Puff product’s art and animation. The team created the base framework of the editor based on Unity to give the best action game experience to the users after it was introduced to the public.

Visit various scenarios in the Puffverse: Users can use PUFF to play games or participate in certain products, purchase props, or acquire their avatars. They can also apply their assets in the DeFi structure by staking and earning PUFF through the mechanism or use PUFF to list their assets to the secondary market for trading.
Governance: PUFF is the governance token that enables the holders to participate in the governance decisions of the platform under a DAO structure. They can exercise voting power over key elements. PUFF owners can vote for themselves or delegate their voting power to another player of their choice.

Let me first break down these 5 events in details for you so that you know the purpose and all other info.

Starting from Jan 14, we will take a snapshot of the rank every day at 10 AM UTC. We will only reward one rank each day, and the schedule is like this:

The overall quantity is 2023, and it serves the same right as Puff Football because they all are Limited Editions. However, there won’t be an egg airdropped to the holder, but they can also join the Lv 30 Rocket Venue.

One thing we didn’t mention about the new NFT is that — there will also be events for you to earn USDT during the festival period (Around $5,000), and only the Puff NFT holders can participate. Puff Genesis will have the most privileges and Puff Limited Edition the next.

Each NFT will have a separate passcard, where you can play all Puff Products.
If you hold more than 1 NFTs in your wallet, we will help you generate a main Passcard where you can manage all of your belongings and easily switch the characters to play with.

2.Could you please explain the primary distinctions between the technology used by Puffverse and the technological model currently being used by other businesses and/or initiatives in the virtual reality, gaming, NFT, and metaverse, as well as how this benefits Puff?

Andrew 🍉:
Anti-whale system is what we trying to build in the whole ecosystem, whereas users can easily join the party at any moment, with any amount of investment they spend.

Gameplay Skill is what matters when u play PuffGo; Time you spend is what matters when you play PuffTown; and users creation is what gonna matter when our other two product launches: PuffLand, PuffWorld.

3:You mentioned on the roadmap that there will be more NFT collectibles like Puff Classic, Puff Limited-Edition will be released. Can you tell us what utility does the Puffverse NFT have for holders? What strategies have you developed to increase its NFT value?

We will limit our total supply of NFT amount under 10,000 pieces, and our goal is to have 10,000 active users all over the world into earning, and we do have plans to open “web2 — web3” portal where users from outside crypto can also enjoy the game.

For traditional gamefi project, two coin model is usually adopted. However, with our layout, PUFF as utility token will be better for the healthy ecosystem, token output, and price control.

In our opinion, Axie is surely a great project but only a GameFi project. So when it comes to the metaverse, we are more complicated yet more comprehensive. We don’t only have GameFi, but SocialFi, DeFi mechanism, and also hardware-related products. We see a bigger potential here, especially with all the Web 2 support we have.
