AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X REAL PLAYER DAO

Real Player DAO is the first task platform of GameFi. It is designed to set up tasks and rewards players with NFTs. The Real Player DAO is clearly meant to be a DAO of real players. Their main aim is to find games with good qualities for real players and to help everyone who got involved in Gamefi. RPD also work with asset rental protocols to lend NFT or token to team members at zero interest or low cost, reducing the cost and risk of playing the game for guild members.

We hosted an AMA session with Real Player DAO on 10th May.

Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Jay, Founder of RPD was the guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of Real Player DAO.

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about ‘Real Player Dao’ .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Jay:
to answee this, i need to introduce myself first

This is Jay. I am the founder of RPD. I traded Bitcoin&Litecoin since 2013, but I officially worked as fulltime in crypto since 2020.

I used to work for Chainnews, the leading blockchain media in China, as the overseas marketing director. My main job is to help blockchain projects landing in China and help them build a localized network with media, KOL, community, VC and exchanges.

One of my clients was YGG, which was a big success in 2021. After a comprehensive research on YGG, I found out guild would be one of very few option to community to upgrade in the upcoming Metaverse age.

Therefore, since last November, I started my preparation for guild. RPD was officialy started from this January. Due to my wide connection with KOL and communities, we have grown fast. Right now, we are already the most active guild in China and will expand global comminities soon. Moreover, we have get support from giants of gamefi industry.

But right now, we are not only a guild, we also have a platform called RPO, which i will explain later

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Jay:
Real Player DAO (RPD) is the most active Metaverse guild starting from Chinese-speaking community. RPD has established a strong cooperation with crypto communities and gaming associations from colleges, which could help games onboard a big amount of real players from the begining.we have three characters worth your attention.guild, task platform, and asset rental.

For Guild, RPD will not be limited to China only. By cooperating with the first blockchain incubator of Africa and leading KOLs and communities from Turkey, RPD will build an active global guild and help the community choose the best game.

For the task platform, RPD has developed a product called Real Player Offering (RPO), which is designed to set up tasks and distribute in-game token, NFT, whitelist, and many other prize to real players to keep an constant player inflow for good game. We can call RPO as the “Rabbithole of Gamefi”.

For Asset rental, RPD will cooperate with NFT rental protocol to lend assets to team fighter and lower their risk as well as the threshold. Guild would take the risk as well as the future revenue.

Altogether, RPD would be the entrance of Metaverse for millions of potential players who are eager to join the P2E adventure, especially the “Gamefi 2.0” period.

as to our competitors, there are many, including YGG, Guildfi, Indigg, Ancient8, etc

Compared with our competitors, we are special in several ways.

First, we are the most active guild starting from China. This is our basic character. As we have observed, due to the massive community size, big purchasing power, sufficient talents and gamers, to be the most active guild of China could make RPD a huge success.

Second, currently, most guilds are located at Southeast Asia, South Asia or South America. RPD would not compete there. Apart from China, RPD will devote a lot of resources to explore the market of Turkey and Africa and attract players there.

Third, unlike many other guilds, we have a real product and we have developed it in an efficient way. From the idea to the public test, RPO has taken us for two months. We are a team prefer doing rather than talking.

Last, compared with other guilds from China, our advantages are much more obvious. We have a team with a global perspective and we have received support from many big institutes, like Animoca Brands.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Jay:
sure, our experience has helped RPD a lot.

My personal experience at media helps me to build a wide connection with KOL, community, VC and exchanges. Communities working closely with us have more than 300,000 crypto traders.

And gaming associations from colleges can supply our guild with million of potential players as long as the game is interesting.

At the same time, we have a high-level tech team with experience of Alibaba, Tencent, etc. They have a rich experience with blockchain and gamefi.

Moreover, they are really efficient. From 0 to 1, the RPO platform has taken around two months to finish two important upgrades. As you can see, there are not so many blockchain projects having a real product like us.

Now we are recruiting an international team to help us grow global market. Turkey is a good start for us. We are really active there.

4) Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utlities of $RPO Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Jay:
We have designed many utilities for RPO token.

1. Stake RPO to gain different forms of rights and airdrops from guild and our gamefi partners.

2.Stake RPO to share the profit of DAO in the way of airdrop.

3. Stake RPO to join the RPO platform and get more allocation and other assets.

4. Stake RPO to join the vote of governance.

5. Stake RPO to borrow NFT and other assets from DAO with lower interest.

6. Use RPO to buy certain service from DAO. We have an excellent research team guided by professors from top universities in China.

7.Last and more imporantly, on the RPO platform, there will be some tasks specially designed for different ranking members. High ranking members could partcipate high level tasks and get a better prize.

Alright, let’s move to our last question from this segment

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from RPD If possible could you please share road map with us.

Jay:
sure. we have a full plan for 2022.

RPD was officially started in January and underwent a fast development. We have been through a busy Spring and we have a detailed plan for the whole. A lot of tasks awaits us.

In Apri, We have closed the seed round, which is done with a big success. At the same time, we have launched the public test of RPO platform and start an active promotion of RPO.

within ten days, members registered at our RPO platform reaches 20k

this could make us the biggest entrance of gamefi in the near future.

In May, we will start the mint of our NFT. Our NFT is a combination of memebership pass and PFP.

By holding and staking the NFT, participants can increase their membership ranking faster and get many prize from guild and our gamefi partners.

Also in May, we will officially cooperate with some rental protocols and conduct NFT rental among guild members.

In June, we will close our private round which is targeting at the tier1 VCs in the crypto world. IDO and listing would happen in Q3.

By then, you can see more games and more tasks on RPO as well as some leading exchanges listing our token.

Continued in 2022, we will expand our community globally and good games. Meanwhile, there will be more tasks with good prize to our guild members.

1) In your roadmap the creation of a DAO governance system seems to be the last thing on the project list, could you tell us how the holders of a membership will intervene in these systems? When do you estimate that it could be fully developed?

Jay:
as the name of Real Player DAO can demonstrate, DAO governace will be in the center of our goverannce.

We do not claim ourselves as a DAO; we function as a real DAO.

First, we have an InvestDAO composed by more than 12 members, including NFT supporters, gamers, token traders, etc, to decide whether we need cooperate or invest any gamefi project.

Second, we have a GovernDAO and cooperate with Metaforo and Snapshot as our governance forum. You can check the link: https://metaforo.io/g/realplayerdao to see proposals until now.

We encourage every token holder to join our governance and make a proposal. In the near future, every important decision should come out from the forum and our current team will make sure every approved proposal would be conducted 100%. everyone can see the execution process on the forum as well.

Moreover, in my plan, the majority of the profit should be shared by all DAO members in a legal way. I really wanna build a real DAO. Let time see our efforts.

When the mainnet is launched, the DAO goverance system will be ready as well.

2) I saw you recently partnered with #BlastRoyale, a new generation GameFi that will rock the industry. So would you like to share more about this partnership? What’s your great mission here? And how does this partnership bring you with them into a strong community?

Jay:
ok. We are exciting about the cooperation with Blast Royale. In fact, we are the only supporter of Blast in East Asia.

our cooperation will be focusing on investing and community development.

The aim of investment is to offer guild members with NFT with a low cost.

and we are keeping on offering real players to Blast constantly and to extend their lifetime.

until now, we have done a lot of work for Blast, including introductory article, game instruction, video lessons, etc, to help our guild members play the game much more easily.

we are confident, due to our help, Blast could be much more popular in China

3) RPD volunteers help identify and filter quality content and remove duplicates and fake content in a timely manner. Can you do this exactly? What algorithm do you use to provide just the right content? How can we be sure?

Jay:
one of our key missions is to find good games for our guild members.

and we have not only volunteers, but also a DAO to evaluate games

and we have deployed a research team to produce good content, including analysis article , industry report to guild members.

as to how to be sure, no one can guarantee that.

our role is to help guild members. we are not going to deceive our members.

we will try our best to produce good content.

4) As an investor, I want to know how strong is your project security system? and what benefits will a user have in the years to come when I decide to join the project you are working on right now?

Jay:
these are two questions.

as to the security, our team put security at first and we have taken several important measure to secure the funding. The contract will be open-sourced when it is down and it will be audited soon after the public test.

We have a high-level tech team with experience of Alibaba, Tencent, etc and we have put security above everything. We have set up several measures to make funding and RPO platform are secure.

First, the inner net is independent and communication between servers are limited to inner IP and port. Every action, including start, read and write requires independent control.

In this way, we significantly increase the processing capacity of our site as well as the difficulty and cost of hacking. And in the near future, every message between servers will be encrypted.

Second, we have established a jump server. Even hackers got the account and password of the server, they have no control on our background server.

Third, we will distribute the funding in several different wallets, including cold wallet and hot wallet. Most funding will be stored at the cold wallet to prevent any further loss if something unlucky happen to us.

1) Why did You though to Rebrand the Project name from “LABOUR GUILD GAMES” TO
“REAL PLAYER DAO”,
Can You Please explain it with valid Reason?

Jay:
As to the name, we previously wanted to establish an organization similar to YGG in China. That is why we called ourselve as LGG.

But we found that due to the influence of YGG, there are so many guilds named after “GG”. This made us hard to promote our brand.

Moreover, after a long period of trial on community and product, we found out that we can much more than a guild.

as you can see, we have built an active global community as well as a task platform

moreover, we will have a rental protocol soon.

We wanna build a strong connection between real players and good games through our guild and our RPO platform.

therefore, we changed the name from LGG to Real Player DAO, i.e RPD

RPD will purchase NFT from games and put them on the rental protocol.

6) I was going through your Token economics and I noticed that $RPO TOKEN SUPPLY is….
“10 billion”
I think it’s very BIG, why are You going with such big supply?

Jay:
10 billion is huge, for sure.

but the amount do not affect anything.

the main reasons to set such a big amount are: 1/ I do not want the price of our token going too high.

if there is only 1 million tokens, then the price will reach hundreds, even thousands, which will be unfriendly for newcomers.

secondly, our token will be distributed to guild memebers through task.

100 token will be a good prize for a task rather than 0.1 token.

believe me, big amount will have a positive influence on price.

7) Many Gaming Platform came Into Existence after the Success of AXIE INFINITY,
But None has reached at the Level Of Popularity of Axie Infinity,
What is RPD’s Approach?

the success of Axie was called “gamefi 1.0”
