AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X RO SLAYERS

RO Slayers is a decentralized game and it’s the newest entry in blockchain technology that aims to integrate cryptocurrency with the classic and most nostalgic massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Through this new system, not only does it indulge players in the fun and competitiveness of online gaming; but also gives them the opportunity to able to earn and meet new acquaintances. The cryptocurrency mechanisms used are mainly influenced by Non-Fungible Token (NFT) games currently available in the market.

We hosted an AMA session with Ro Slayers on 26th November at 7:00 AM UTC.

Q1) Can you give a brief explanation about 'Roslayers' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this space?

Pesmerga:
RO Slayers’ concept was designed back in March 2021. RO meaning Ragnarok Online and Slayers sort of represents its gameplay and community.

Our concept was inspired by the emergence of successful crypto games in the market. Knowing that the game is one of the most successful mmorpg for many years; we thought we could integrate it with blockchain technology.

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other projects?

Pesmerga:
The fact that our game is an MMORPG means that our entire gaming community may freely engage in-game no matter where they are, which is the most appealing aspect of our project. We're working on a slew of new features and events to give our players a more engaging gaming experience.

We spent months developing our player-based economy, and we designed it to be highly scalable to a larger demand. We intended it to be highly long-term sustainable and to ensure that we can meet the expectations of our community and investors.

The best part is that the game is already operational and can be played right now! There are already a large number of players enjoying a good time in this community, and we have a sizable number of members. We are overjoyed and delighted to inform you that we have established a thriving community.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Pesmerga:
Our team is made up of experienced crypto traders and aspirants who continuously develop themselves to be better at what they do.
We have also involved ourselves with other crypto games that give us enough knowledge on how the market behaves and be able conceptualize a design to integrate with RO Slayers.
In addition, our group is made up of game enthusiasts who are very knowledgeable about the mechanics and playthrough of the game, allowing us to better serve the community.

4) Now Share us about your utility token, What are the some of utlities of $SLYR Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics of $SLYR

Pesmerga:
The $SLYR token is the asset that runs the RO Slayers ecosystem. If $SLYR token holders stake or participate in various in-game activities, they can claim rewards. Other players will be able to earn tokens if they participate in various games in the RO Slayers world through community-generated content initiatives. Furthermore, the $SLYR BEP-20 token is distributed fairly to DEX liquidity providers. Such distribution will be announced in advance.

$SLYR Tokens can be used for the following: crafting of weapons and armor, refinement of weapons and armor, crafting of consumables, crafting of costumes, and other events.

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Roslayers? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Pesmerga:
The project was conceptualized around last quarter of 2020 and the game released on June 2021. Even while the game was up and running, we never stopped planning on how we can improve our project that will be beneficial for us and the community.

With the P2E set to be launched a few hours from now, we are aiming to make the RO Slayers economy much more sustainable and be able to release more in-game contents for our players to enjoy.

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

Q1)Could you share with us some biggest achievements so far and some superior features of RO Slayers that you guys are building right now

Pesmerga:
There’s a lot of things we are proud of in regards to our RO Slayers project but I want to point out those that stand out. You see, in the first few months of our early access, we had an average of 10 to 20 players per day. Right now it has grown 10x more since we started.

Another is how we are able steadily achieve our goal in helping less fortunate kids around the world through our partnership with wesavethekids.org.

With the steady growth in our economy together with our supportive community, this enables us to move forward towards our most anticipated Play-to-earn update which will launch this 27th of November; that’s a few hours from now. This will give players the opportunity to earn while playing our game.

Another thing you all should look forward to is the mobile version of our game which will be launched very soon.

For in-game content, once we launch our P2E system, various updates like Illusion 17.1 and other events will also be released.

2) What is the target of the #RoSlayers team, from a business perspective .To be an extraordinary platform for both Investors and for it’s clients, Transparency and security is extremely significant. Would you be able to tell us a few insights about your security protocols.

Pesmerga:
As we launch our project, we always take it into consideration that our community is confident enough to trust us with their account security as well as be well informed of any important details.

That’s why RO Slayers has worked together with Solid group for our smart contract security and audit.
For in-game protection, we have implemented the Gepard Shield that has various functionalities to protect the game from harmful and illegal software that might affect the game and the players.
Another is an added command in-game such as the “@security” where it offers additional safety features to protect each individual’s in-game assets.
For information, we have GM Team and Moderators on stand-by to be able to give you much more detailed information with your queries from crypto currency up to in-game contents.

3) COVID 19 has slowed down many economies around the world but as a crypto business, does it affect you negatively or positively? Are you still on track to achieve your goals or are you planning a new development?

Pesmerga:
With the uncertainty of economic growth and increased unemployment brought about by the pandemic, we have taken this as an opportunity to share with individuals an alternative way to earn while being able to enjoy our game or at least be introduced to the gaming community. This is more than just a project for us but it’s more of an second chance to rise back up for others. Together with our successful project in helping less fortunate kids through wesavethekids.org, I could say that we are right on track for the right reasons.
Our current RO Slayers game project might just be one of many Play-to-earn portals that we introduce. If we are able to continue our current success, expect that there will be more projects coming from us.

4) Where in English is not spoken well so How Do you planning to promote your project in different countries ? Do you have a local communities for them to better understand your project?

Pesmerga:
We understand that if we were aiming for the international market, it’s a prerogative that we eliminate the language barrier to be able to cater to a wider audience.
Right now our community is mainly adept in using the English language, however; we are doing continuous efforts in seeking qualified people to moderate other individuals that use a different language other than the aforementioned.
For our future implementation, we will are developing a system to change the in-game language setting according to your preference.
In the long run, we hope to be able to cater to everyone’s needs and be as efficient and effective in what we do.

5) Is the platform suitable for crypto newcomers? Will it attract newcomers? Or does it only appeal to professional users? Can it meet the needs and expectations of the people?

Pesmerga:
When we planned on integrating our game with blockchain technology, we also put into consideration the involvement of marketing it to people who have little to no knowledge about the trade in cryptocurrency.. With that said, we knew that there will be a lot of educating to do on our part as well.

What we did is we assembled a team highly dedicated to give their time in teaching and encouraging people about how valuable crypto trading is in today’s reality and how they will be able to utilize this knowledge with our project. With 24/7 customer support in all our platforms, we make sure that no questions are left unanswered.

Furthermore, we have partnered with various streamers who can produce pre-recorded or live video tutorials about blockchain technology and they are ready to answer every question you throw at them.

In hindrance, having a Play-to-earn portal that is free and having a team that communicates concrete info is enough to meet the general public’s needs and expectations. Surely enough we have developed a system where investors will be guaranteed to receive what their money is worth.

Pesmerga:
RO Slayers is a community-driven project, actually. We encourage people to give feedback and requests as well as take setbacks and criticisms into account in a positive manner to help make our game better.

In fact, our present moderators are actual players from the community who, later in time, were offered the chance to share their ideas and expertise for the betterment of our project. Everybody who is willing to learn and show interest in our project is our target.
In retrospect, we, together with the team, highly believe that being proactive in the public’s demands can put us one step ahead towards our long-term goals of success.

2) Can you list some killer features of this project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about?

Pesmerga:
The biggest attraction we have to our project is the fact that our game is an MMORPG game, where the whole gaming community of our project can freely interact in-game no matter where they are. We are working on many more features and events for a more immersive gameplay for our community.

We have spent months designing our player-based economy inspired by other NFT and blockchain games that are currently in the market. We have designed it to be very sustainable in the long-term and make sure that we can satisfy our community and investor’s expectations.

And the most killer feature of it all, is that the game is already functional and could be played right now! There are already a ton of players currently having fun right now, and we have already attained a handsome amount of members in this community. We are really pleased and glad to tell you that we have developed a healthy growing community.

3) Following the success of the blockchain game Axie Infinity, which drew a large number of investors and players, a slew of Blockchain games have emerged, however they are all scams. How can I be sure and trust that this project (ROSLAYERS) is not a scam?

Pesmerga:
First off, RO Slayers early access is already playable since it’s early access back in June 2021.

Prior to finalizing our plans to integrate our game with blockchain technology, we implemented a donation system where part of what we receive is distributed to the development and sustainability of the game as well as to our affiliate charity organization, wesavethekids.org.

You can receive tokens in-game by playing the game and knowing the mechanics. You can’t receive the token just by holding the minimum amount required.

Even if you don’t have the time to play the game,, we have introduced a scholarship program wherein you can let other people play on your account on your behalf. Of course, we have various security measures implemented to make sure that your account, most especially your in-game assets, is secured.
