AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X SEOR

SEOR is a general data protocol platform that provides unified off-chain data for different blockchain systems. Through a decentralized unified protocol and on-chain governance, it provides accurate data for various DeFi applications with different architectures, different technologies, and main chain projects. 1) please tell us in detail about SEOR and the reason behind the creation of such a beautiful project in crypto space?

Winnie Wen:
Well

SEOR network is an independent Oracle system
Provides a common data protocol of unified off chain data for different blockchain systemAnd provides accurate data for many different types of DAPPs serving areas such as DeFi, Game, Tools etc, supported by our own uniquely designed architectures and technologies.

Q2) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from SEOR? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Nice question
Our first version of the public chain development progress has been completed 90%

The first middleware platform dApp-LCDP has also been launched in beta
In the recent public beta activity
For the whitelist application
We have more than 35k participants, more than 3,200 independent addresses have deployed contracts on it
And more than 1,900 independent addresses have flashcast NFT on it.

We did make a good start in launching these public events to interact with our community.

The platform now supports Ethereum, Polkadot, Polygon, BSC and other ecosystems
And will continue to support more public chain ecosystems in the future
Currently we are negotiating and cooperating with: Solana, Avalanche, Cardano, etc.

We will help these ecological DAPP projects to achieve business functions in a simpler way to gain a broader application market.

4) What makes SEOR special from it competiters?

Well

Almost all existing oracle systems have the following issues:

1. Insufficient data verification to prevent malicious data from spreading on the chain in a time effective manner

2. Possible difficulty in providing evidence of the perpetrator responsible for the malicious behavior

3. Possible insufficient compensation for malicious data

4. Inability to cross-chain flexibly; insufficient support for broader application scenarios

What sets SEOR apart from other competiters?

5)Why you choose the name SEOR to your project? Is there any interesting story behind this name? If yes please explain.

Winnie Wen:
Sure

The information we see in Blockchain is organized, standardized, and credible.

However, the real world is disordered, complex, and unreliable.

Oracle is a mechanism used to ensure that the data inputted into smart contracts are credible, essentially a bridge connecting the real world and blockchain systems.

SEOR is a set of Oracle mechanisms and Oracle protocol groups that provide reliable data for smart contracts.

This allows for smart contracts to be free of centralization issues, thus enhancing its functions.

Our goal is to build a completely decentralized oracle network.

Most of the current oracle systems in the market emphasize that they must be added to their ecology to be used.

Thus, there is no set of available cross-chain solutions for everyone to easily use.

As a result, we want to create a decentralized, intuitive, and instant query processing that doesn’t have third-party failure points and supports

SEOR or other payments for multiple mainnet assets and contract assets, multiple data types, the three technical interaction modes, and a variety of main chain oracle systems.

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

1)According to what I’ve read, your platform is still in beta. When will a full-fledged SEOR with all of its features be available? When do you intend to conduct an audit of your platform? Is there a bug bounty programme for people to participate in?

Winnie Wen:
We have launched SEOR's test mainnet. After the testnet finished, SEOR will launch the official version.

We will announce the specific time in our official Twitter and Telegram

And for the bug bounty program, we have our own Incentive systems.

2) As an independent Oracle system, that provide a unified general data protocol for off-chain data for different blockchain systems,how does SEOR ensure the authenticity of the data?
What are your sources for data collection?Explain does this data aggregation work?

Winnie Wen:
SEOR will use the oBFT consensus algorithm, which is a hybrid consensus algorithm combining Polkadot's GRANDPA protocol, NPoS with our LON (Lightweight Oracle Network) protocol.

oBFT brings natural cross-chain and cross-domain data interaction capabilities to SEOR Chain.

Through LON verification and collection of external data, and the Oracle data in the oBFT network we reach a second consensus, therefore guaranteeing the reliability and security of the data.

oBFT has the characteristics of unlimited expansion.

Through VRF, the randomness and fairness of each consensus group generation are guaranteed, and at the same time, it can quickly reach the state finality.

This is why:

SEOR is a decentralized system specifically focused on serving oracle territory.

This is the reason why we do not use any mature consensus algorithm or rely on the underlying security of other public chains

In a nutshell, there are three main characters in SEOR system, data supplier, data verifier and data user.

Data verifier is responsible to verify the data provided from supplier, and save the data on chain.

The process that data verifier executed is very different with normal blockchain transaction verification.

The data verifier of Seor, needs mainet nodes to confirm the authenticity, so as to prevent the data supplier providing wrong data, apart from normal signature verification.

To execute the process, we developed OBFT consensus, and the independent verification mechanism of external data source is set up.

The data which only has been verified from this mechanism would be imported to the trading pool for encrypting on chain.

3) The oracles are extremely necessary for the handling of large amounts of data, could you tell us if SEOR has any alliance with projects that use it for this purpose? Cloud services, prediction and more?

Winnie Wen:
Seamless access to the high-performance public chain Seal-Oracle (SEOR)

Self-developed unified access SDK: multi-chain-js, as well as contract customization for different blockchain systems, support for codeless contract deployment of EVM compatible chains
The data of the LCDP platform provides standard common data for different blockchain systems through a common data protocol, and provides accurate data for various Dapps such as DeFi, Game, Tools, etc.

4) So Most of the current oracle systems in the market emphasize that they must be added to their ecology to be used.Will this be necessary with SEOR?Or will you provide complete control to the users? & what makes u different from competitions like chainlink ?

Winnie Wen:
SEOR a complete set of oracle protocols, can support various multi-chain/cross-chain requirements and support for all off-chain data without joining SEOR’s ecology.

Compared with the mainstream oracle systems currently on the market, SEOR has the following advantages:

SEOR is a decentralized oracle system
SEOR provide intuitive and instant query processing

5) Could you explain to us in simple terms what is the purpose of “SEOR”? What is the strongest advantage that you think will make this team lead the market? How will you attract investors and build the trust and win the hearts of millions of people in your project?

Winnie Wen:
One of the important goals of SEOR’s LCDP platform is to effectively reduce the technical cost of major public chain ecological technicians when they cross-chain to other public chains
As well as the difficulty of technical development and application implementation for traditional Internet developers to the blockchain world
Allowing users to more conveniently and quickly access and use the ecological capabilities of different blockchain technologies
Expand the ecological boundaries of different public chains, and link heterogeneous public chain systems

SEOR can provide the most decentralized security, the highest anti-manipulation data, rapid integration
And deployment capabilities, diversified decentralized services, and the high-speed and efficient oracle network outside the blockchain world (Internet)

2) One of the highlights that I see on SEOR is your use of '’Hybrid Consensus Algorithm’’. This is my first time hearing about this algorithm. Can you share more about how this algorithm works and what benefits it brings to SEOR?

Winnie Wen:
oBFT is a Double-layer consensus algorithm designed by SEOR for the Oracle field. This algorithm will combine dPoS, VRF, our unique LON (Lightweight Oracle Network) and other protocols, which is a hybrid consensus algorithm combining multiple protocols.
Data suppliers will collect, store and verify external data through LON, and implement the data consensus of the first layer.
After the data is confirmed by the LON layer, the certificated information will be transmitted to the SEOR mainnet for the second-layer’s consensus and verification process.
oBFT uses VRF technology to ensure the randomness and fairness of each consensus group. It also ensures that it can reach the final result of the state at a high speed by the same time.
oBFT brings natural cross-chain and cross-domain data interaction functions to SEOR Chain. Reaching the second consensus by LON verification, external data collection and Oracle data in the oBFT network, it can ensure the reliability and security of the data.

SEOR’s token haven’t issue yet, and IDO’s schedule is about to come. The specific centralized exchanges has not yet been determined, and we haven’t make any officially announcement. The launch on Binance is within our plan.
