We hosted an AMA session with Sidus Heroes on 10th December at 10:00 AM UTC.

Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Anthony from Sidus Heroes was our guest. He shared delightful knowledge and unique features of Sidus Heroes.

Q1) Can you give a brief explanation about 'SIDUS HEROES' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in This Crypto Gaming Space?

Anthony:
First things first, SIDUS HEROES is the first ever WebGL, AAA-level, Play-to-Earn, NFT and MMORPG game. Simply put, SIDUS HEROES is a high-quality gaming metaverse that offers breathtaking scenarios and multiple earning opportunities that can all be accessed from a browser in one click.

The game is set in a space metaverse at a time when technological advancements have reached the level of merging with all living beings. SIDUS HEROES provides users with multiple gaming scenarios: interstellar exploration, battles and settlements, as well as political, social and economic development. Advancing through the game, players are rewarded with in-game NFTs and SIDUS native tokens.

SIDUS HEROES started out as an NFT avatar collection, launched in August 2021. The collection features 6,000 unique characters. According to the lore, every Hero belongs to one of various different blockchain races and fled to the independent city of SIDUS to escape the intergalactic war. Once the collection was launched, our team saw an opportunity to develop the project further. What started as an NFT collection has now evolved into a gaming metaverse with multiple play modes, endless opportunities and room for self-expression.

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other projects?

Anthony:
Will try making it as short as possible.

SIDUS HEROES is, first and foremost, a play-to-earn MMORPG game that offers multiple gaming scenarios, so that each user is able to find something to their liking.

Users can choose any role (or combination of roles) for themselves. Players can fight in the Battle Arena, win tournaments and fights and be rewarded in SIDUS’ native tokens. By winning battles, players accumulate points and rise in the ratings. At the end of the fighting season, the Heroes with the highest ratings are rewarded with loot boxes containing exclusive content that their owners can use to upgrade their Heroes or sell in the marketplace. The game offers multiple game modes: Heroes can fight in PvP or PvE mode, one on one or in teams of 3 Heroes and 3 pets.

Some users will choose to mine resources or master a profession and become scientists, hunters, builders, pilots, mechanical engineers, navigation officers, etc. Heroes can also get into politics, create a party, get elected in the Council elections and eventually become President.

The key attribute that makes the project stand out is the team's approach to creating a high-quality, long-lived project with the longest possible operational period, an ageless setting and easy-to-master gameplay. SIDUS HEROES positions itself as an AAA-level game and from the very beginning, the team set the bar high and aimed for AAA-level quality of content, graphics, gameplay, economic model and all other components of the game.

Another feature that makes SIDUS HEROES stand out is the utilization of WebGL technology in the platform’s architecture, which makes it accessible through a browser in a single click. To start playing, users just type in the game URL and press ‘PLAY’, no need to download an application onto their Android, iOS, PC or Mac. Thus, SIDUS HEROES becomes available to a larger audience. Users who have been previously priced out of blockchain gaming (along with its many earning opportunities) can now gain access to this world. No matter what device or platform is used, the game starts up anywhere as long as it has access to the internet. Not many game developers can say that about their product.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Anthony:
It plays a crucial part! The SIDUS HEROES team counts more than 200 full-time employees that come from different domains and together make up a strong unit that’s capable of achieving the ambitious goal we've set for ourselves.

The team features a large number of highly skilled blockchain developers with years of experience in building DeFi and NFT products. It guarantees the game will have robust security features and well-thought-out tokenomics. In the future, we also plan to launch DeFi projects to encourage broader utility of SIDUS’ tokens. The team’s years of experience in the field is being put to great use!

Many SIDUS team members come from the game development industry and are skilled in applying cutting-edge technologies and multimedia solutions. Without this knowledge, it would be much harder to reach the point we're currently at.

Ramsy:
4) Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utlities of $SIDUS Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics of $SIDUS

Anthony:
The game will have two in-game tokens - SIDUS and SENATE. The SENATE is the governance token. Users holding this token will be able to express their political views and influence the development of the project. Voting power will be proportionate to the number of tokens each user has. The SENATE will also be used for purchasing accelerators and consumables that make the gameplay more effective and productive. SIDUS, on the other hand, is a gaming token that will also be used widely within the game, in the SIDUS marketplace and as a reward token.

The SIDUS team decided to have a two-token system to separate the different segments of players at the token level. Those who're truly invested in the game (in terms of time and energy), will have the SENATE token to express their opinion. SENATE will be also used to purchase items like plots of land, spaceships and station modules. Owners of these types of properties will have a lot of influence in the community, so we want to make sure these items are in good hands.

The SIDUS token, by contrast, is an in-game token and will be widely used by people mostly interested in farming and speculating on the price growth. We thought it’d be wrong to mix SIDUS’ different audience segments and so decided to introduce two tokens.

Alright, now let's see our last question from this segment...

5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Sidus Heroes? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Anthony:
Work on the project started in the middle of 2021. The key milestones for this period was the launch of the Genesis NFT collection (a.k.a. 'SIDUS: NFT Heroes') and the original website, development of the project’s architectural design, recruitment of missing team members to implement an AAA-level game and the launch of the updated website v2.0 with concept details.

We've managed to meet all these goals. The collection was published on OpenSea on August 30th. The demand for NFTs on presale exceeded the available supply and the collection was sold out in 10 minutes.

In the meantime, SIDUS closed the vacant positions and built a strong team of 200+ full-time employees from different domains. I can assure you the team that gathered around the SIDUS idea has many successful projects under its belt and will do everything to provide a high-quality immersive experience.

In October, SIDUS launched the demo version of the game and the new website. In the pre-alpha version, users can explore the SIDUS Central Station, choose between several Heroes and test them out in the Battle Arena.

And now, we’re preparing for the Initial DEX Offering scheduled for December 15th. Our team is working hard to ensure everything goes smoothly and to plan.

And we have such great plans for the future! We’ve published a detailed 5-year roadmap that contains key milestones for each quarter. Anyone interested in the project and the goals we are aiming for can go to the SIDUS HEROES website, under the 'Documents' section and see the detailed roadmap.

We'll be sticking to it and hitting each milestone but at the same time, we will listen to the community and their preferences. One of the ways for players to influence development is by participating in Council elections or putting forward issues for the Council to discuss.

1)As the native token at the game, is SIDUS TOKEN available at the exchange market? Where is is listed and available to be purchased?

Anthony:
SIDUS is an in-game token that will be playing a role of the reward token and base economic model for all the in game purchases.
As for the listing details, please wait for the list of exchanges to be anounced soon! We will publish it in our channels 😉

2) COVID 19 has slowed down many economies around the world but as a crypto business, does it affect you negatively or positively? Are you still on track to achieve your goals or are you planning a new development?

Anthony:
As for the covid situation, we do feel very sorry for everyone who has issues with such factors. As for us - it cannot be good when so many people suffer. Although, we are launching an NFT game that people will be playing despite the COVID factor, so I do not thing it has anything to do with that.

3) One of the problems with Gaming platforms is that they don’t have a lot of liquidity, does heros have the technology that enables the true supply and demand economy? Will this guarantee a large Gaming trading volume?

Anthony:
Good question. We are now actually oversubscribed by 60 times which in terms gives a number of 500 mil$.
Although, we have sold less than 20 mil worth of our tokens which means that the demand will be that huge that after the token’s release, it will have a massive positive market situation.

On the other side, we’ve made the game as interractive as possible in order to involve as many players as possible into our game, as well as using the WEBGL engine that provides us a big list of players coming a board even with an old setups or usual phones. Of course, as a game developers we know that nothing makes the gaming market but the gamers themselves. That’s why we have decided to leave the final economy up to the players but including the factor of AAA graphics and a virus-gameplay that will involve you 100% into the game;)

4) As we know that every project needs so much funds to survive in this competitive market. So how you planned for raise funds for your project ?

Anthony:
That’s a good one.

We actually differ from all of the other project since we DO NOT do an infinite fund raisings. Instead, we have decided to involve “human hours” so people can have an interractive gameplay as well as bringing joy to crypto and gaming communities.

We have done out fundraising part, and weven though we could raise over 500mil$ we decided to be limitied with only under 20. We understand like no one else that we do not need that much funds and we can only focus on the small part which will be enough for the next 2 years of the game development. And in the next 2 years our company pool will unfreeze, which means that we will have funds to resume the development regardless, especially with already stabilized market over 2 years.

5) Where can I buy your tokens right now what is your current contract and how can I buy them??" Will you have any other DeFI feature like staking, yield farm or NFT in the future?

Anthony:
We will definetely having a staking option. We are actually the first people to create the “Shadow staking” through our SpaceSwap project, which won’t be an issue for us.
On the other side, we will have an IDO soon coming on the various platforms : BLOKPAD, Ignition, TrustPad, SpaceSwap, Red Kite, GameFI and Seedify.
