AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X SUPER PROTOCOL

Super Protocol is a confidential cloud computing platform designed to protect data while it is being processed. It is a decentralized platform based on blockchain, meaning it can avoid shortages inherent to centralized services. Super Protocol uses the latest blockchain and TEE developments to create a universal decentralized protocol for distributed confidential computing. Super Protocol offers an alternative to traditional cloud service providers within the Web3 space and makes it possible for everyone to contribute to the development of innovative technologies for the future Internet.

We hosted an AMA session with Super Protocol on 21st April.

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about ‘Super Protocol’ .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Nukri:
Super Protocol combines blockchain with the most advanced confidential computing technologies on the market to create a universal decentralized cloud computing platform. Super Protocol thus offers a Web3 alternative to traditional cloud service providers and makes it possible for anyone to contribute to the development of innovative technologies for the future Internet.

A modern ecosystem owned by a large cloud service provider may offer hundreds of services, but nevertheless it is a closed ecosystem. Super Protocol permissionless community-driven nature allows for a potentially unlimited combinations of computational capacity, public and private data, and innovative services, integrated into the same open protocol.

So the idea was on the surface, Web3 is not fully decentralized yet and we could bring true decentralization of Web3 with our knowledge and 7 years experience in Confidential Computing

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Nukri:
Three distinct points set us apart from the pack:
— Fully decentralized cloud computing
— Confidential computing (data and code are hardware-protected using Intel SGX technology (Intel is our technological partner)
— Any types of computations possible using confidential containers (AI, VR/AR, GameFi, DeFi, NFT, big data, all that, anything that the classic providers can do — we can do)

Our competition might have one or two of the above features. But we are the only ones capable of achieving a complete trustless decentralized environment by integrating all three technologies combined.

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Nukri:
Great question! I’m Founder and CEO of Super Protocol. My name is Nukri Basharuli, btw. I’m Serial Entrepreneur and Confidential Computing Expert with over 7 years of perfection in the digital distribution space and license processing technology through a bunch of startup ventures and IT projects. I worked with multiple global companies, including Microsoft, Intel, Google, Disney, Pearson etc.

I truly believe in digital license processing along with relationship management between the digital objects. As the world is rapidly moving towards a global Internet of Things and Internet of Everything.
I have applied all my knowledge and experience to create something as super as the Internet. The New era of the Internet: Super Protocol.

My team and I had already built successful company in confidential computing before, for now on the challenge is to bring confidential computing into web3 and achieve its true decentralization. So we are the most capable team for this type of challenge

4) Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utilities of The Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Nukri:
Our native token is called TEE. It is ERC20 standard and it’s main utilities are the following:

+ Payments for hardware, services and data
+ Provider security deposits
+ Treasury replenishment
+ Staking and governance

The Tokenomics will be published in May and we will make a great contest regarding this event, so join our community to stay tuned.

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Super Protocol If possible could you please share road map with us.

Nukri:
Nice question! The idea of Super Protocol came up in 2020, in the beginning of 2021 we started developing Super Protocol and for now we already got MVP, in mid May we will launch our Testnet, so join us in Telegram or Discord to stay tuned

In Q3 we are planning to launch Mainnet and in the beginning of Q3 we will conduct our Public Sale via LBP on Copper. Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

Ramsy:
1) How does Super Protocol achieve stability over a Web3 alternative, and potentially secure an unlimited number of combinations of computing power, public and private data, and innovative services? How does this Web3 alternative ensure an unlimited number of combinations of computing power, public and private data, and innovative services? Do you really get adequate stability?

Nukri:
Super Protocol combines best innovations from blockchain and confidential cloud computing technologies.
It is fully decentralized chain agnostic EVM-compatible solution. The protocol will be managed by its community as a DAO.
Super Protocol supports decentralized general-purpose computing based on serverless architecture. So it is possible to run wide range of containerized applications. Trusted execution environment technology is used to provide data protection and code integrity.
All these features combined revolutionize cloud computing and make it ideal for Web3. The protocol has a wide range of use cases: decentralized infrastructure for dApps, open marketplace for developers and data providers, even new generation of SaaS applications.

Since confidentiality is the core feature of Super Protocol, data is secured at all stages of processing. On the Data Provider side, the encrypted data is immediately transferred to the TEE. It can only be decrypted by the trusted loader to execute a particular solution. The solutions for processing run in the TEE and the results are encrypted and stored in the external storage.

The protocol also allows the content of the solutions to be hidden, if it is considered a trade secret. In this case the Solution Provider can provide an encrypted solution.

2) Some DeFi and NFT projects are now difficult to identify because they require a wide interface that enables them to properly communicate data. What might these firms or users expect from the Super Protocol in terms of data security and system integration?

Nukri:
Successful companies are always on the lookout for new approaches that would enable them to communicate accurately and effectively with their respective target audiences, increasing their sales and making their offerings ever more competitive. In the modern world, this is most often achieved through the efficient use of all available data and information technologies.

Super Protocol offers an open, decentralized ecosystem of computational resources, innovative products and services, data sources (including those previously unavailable for confidentiality reasons), and data processing tools.

Ramsy:
3)One of the use cases of Super Protocol is “Go-to platform for confidential data monetization”. How can I monetize “confidential data”? What data do I have to provide? What will these data be used for? What will be the reward I get? And, what do you do to keep these data safe?

Nukri:
Data in the modern world is being created everywhere, while new, more advanced processing algorithms allow for an ever larger number of ways to use this data. However, there are quite a few challenges here. Obviously, large volumes of data are not originally meant to be public, which means it requires anonymization or confidential computing.

High-quality anonymization is not always possible without losing data utility. Additionally, many of today’s analytical tools enable successful data de-anonymization under many different circumstances: “To demonstrate its effectiveness on real-world networks, we show that a third of the users who can be verified to have accounts on both Twitter, a popular microblogging service, and Flickr, an online photo-sharing site, can be re-identified in the anonymous Twitter graph with only a 12% error rate.”

Almost any data owner would benefit from monetizing it — as long as it does not harm their business as a whole. This is borne out by the widespread development of technologies for analyzing big data.

Super Protocol offers data owners a simple, convenient route for monetizing their data — with no intermediaries involved, and while maintaining full data confidentiality.

Ramsy:
4) Super Protocol offers everything you expect from modern cloud computing. So what can we expect from this cloud computing and what can you offer investors?

Nukri:
The key Web3 concept is to create open, decentralized alternatives for all the platforms and applications at the core of modern Internet. At the moment there are quite a few ongoing projects that are trying to implement this idea. Little by little, they are filling the gaps that currently exist in the decentralized world.

But decentralization is not the only defining feature of the Web3 concept. It is expected that the following technologies will play a key role in the future: Big Data, AI, IoT, and VR/AR. These technologies require a lot of computational capacity and access to data, know-how and specific tools for creating cutting edge products. The lion’s share of the cloud services market at the moment is controlled by only three corporations. The same corporations and a number of other similar entities also control most of the data and technologies that will be fundamental for the Internet of the future.

Exponential growth in the number of data sources, the volume and variety of data, as well as ever more complex algorithms for data processing give rise to more severe requirements for data anonymization and confidential computing. In particular, to meet these requirements, CPU manufacturers have, for a number of years at this point, been honing the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology, which allows code to be executed in an isolated environment, protecting data integrity and confidentiality.

Super Protocol uses the latest blockchain and TEE developments to create a universal decentralized protocol for distributed confidential computing. Super Protocol offers an alternative to traditional cloud service providers within the Web3 space and makes it possible for everyone to contribute to the development of innovative technologies for the future Internet.

So it is clear, that we offer investors a legible way to join the Web3 revolution and partake in a project, that would definitely change the world very soon, as the World is ready for these changes. Web3 should become truly decentralized and with Super Protocol it definitely will be

5) Super Protocol was community driven and is regulated by the DAO. What type of decisions does users can make on Super Protocol platform? What is the minimum token of Super Protocol needed to vote and partake in your governance?

In general, we do not limit the right to vote to any minimum number of tokens — but the quota for the right to make proposals to change the parameters of the protocol or improve it will be determined later after discussion with the community

So the holder of even 1 Super Protocol token will be able to vote

but not everyone will be able to make a proposal, we will determine later together with the community, that’s what DAO really about 🙌

I read that one of Super Protocol’s Provides is the TEE PROVIDER. Can you explain more regarding these 4 providers especially the TEE PROVIDER? How do these providers work in Super Protocol? What are the purpose of these providers in your ecosystem?

Nukri:
First of all, TEE provider — the person who owns computational power. BTW, you got a lot of xp in mining, so you will definitely be capable of assembling TEE compatible device (contact me if you are interested btw)

Also, we got Data Providers and Service providers, Data providers are Data owners, who would like to monetize their data, as I mentioned before. Service provider — are service developers, who can create their services on Super Protocol and achieve true confidentiality of their code

You have Said that You Will give a Tough COMPETITION to the Computation Focused Protocols , May I know What are Your Competitive Features and What Strategy You have Made to Compete them ?

4) Carlos.:
Reading the background of Nukri Basharul, it caught my attention that he is a nuclear scientist but also the founder of Super Protocol. I am interested to know, what have been the similarities that he has found while he develops activities in these two worlds? And what were his motivations to develop Super protocol?

Nukri:
For the last 7 years I have been perfecting the digital distribution and license processing technology through a number of startup ventures and IT projects.

My PhD in Nuclear Physics and experience with distributed models shows that as the world is rapidly moving towards a global Internet of Things and Internet of Everything, the need to govern the interactions between the ‘particles’ is becoming as great as ever. Those are the origins of my obsession with digital license processing, the management of relationships between digital objects.

5) Pepensando:
Currently there are the AWS, a place where almost the entire internet is stored. Knowing this, how do you think you could compete against them? What things do you do better than AWS? Is it possible that Super Protocol will have more market than AWS?

Nukri:
It is definitely possible, cause you can clearly see by yourself that our World is moving towards decentralization, to bring back the power to community. So Super Protocol is 100% ready for those changes and we are the change itself, actually. As for the things we do better — it is obvious that true confidential computing should be decentralized, that what we do better, cause we have decentralization and AWS don’t

As for the competition, we are not looking into competition with AWS, we are moving our own way, occasionally or meant to be, but with the major part of the progressive internet who usually brings us the modern useful technologies. The wave of people who will definitely understand our sight on Web3 and join us to bring Web3 Utopia closer. Who also understands that the time has come.
