Tokocrypto was born from a group of crypto enthusiasts with strong beliefs in the examples and benefits that blockchain technology can offer to society. So here's out first question from this segment....

1) Can you give a brief explanation about TKO .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this space?

Omar:
Nice start

In essence, TKO is the native utility token of our ecosystem i.e. Tokoscape. We came up with the idea for TKO to serve as the instrument through which Tokocrypto will be utilizing its unique blend of experience and expertise to venture into neighbouring countries that have similar economic prospects with those of Indonesia and thereafter all throughout the world.

In this regard, the distribution reach of TKO has transcended the four corners of the world with the token proving to be a hit in East Asian countries such as China and South Korea, Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Vietnam and Tokocrypto’s home ground of Indonesia as well as Eurasian countries such as Russia and Turkey.

Moving forward these are the geographical regions in which we are looking to build our international bases for TKO after which we will be connecting these international bases together with TKO's home base in Indonesia to form a network of global connectivity.

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other projects?

Omar:
The main feature of TKO is its function as a bridge between the CeFi and DeFi domains thereby allowing TKO users to benefit from minimum risks exposure through the stability of CeFi while at the same time maximizing their investment returns through the crypto rocket fuel that is DeFi.

In the crypto domain where trust is at a premium, the fact that TKO is issued by the most trusted exchange in Indonesia is the token's main advantage..

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Omar:
Ah let me introduce the team as well then!

Besides myself who is the Head of TKO and the Head of T-Hub which will be a ground-breaking crypto community center in the picturesque island of Bali in Indonesia, the other key members of our team behind the TKO project and their background are as follows:

-Pang Xue Kai who is our co-founder and CEO has since 2016 been a vocal crypto advocate across Indonesia, and he is a governing council member in the Singapore Chamber of Commerce Indonesia.

-Teguh Kurniawan Harmanda who is our COO is a key figure behind Indonesia's crypto asset trading regulations in his capacity as the Chairman of the Indonesian Crypto Asset Traders Association (Aspakrindo).

-Lai Chung Ying who is our CSO and who is also the Chairman of the INBLOCKS Conference and the Indonesia Blockchain Week (IBW) and Indonesia Blockchain Week (IBW) Binance Smart Chain Summit.

-Nanda Ivens who earned a double major in Political Science and History from Boston University in 1997, has over 25 years of marketing, communication, and advertising experience, as well as 13 years of experience investing and building startups.

Our team's vast knowledge of the crypto domain has enabled us to structure TKO in a way which meets the needs of the market in terms of product/market fit whereby our team's digital marketing abilities has also played a key role in the success of TKO by supporting our efforts to share TKO-related information through the digital sphere.

Fair to say, the team behind the Tokocrypto project is one of the best, if not the best, in the crypto town!

Q4) Now Share us about your Native Exchange token, What are the some of utlities of $TKO Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics of $TKO

Omar:
As of now, TKO's functional use cases include Binance Pay (which is a contactless, borderless and secure user-to-user cryptocurrency payment feature on the Binance App) and TokoMall (which is the first multi-category NFT marketplace in Indonesia) with more to come in the form of T-Hub (which will be a ground-breaking crypto community center in the picturesque island of Bali in Indonesia) and TokoSwap (which together with Toko Incubator and Tokocrypto Sembrani Blockchain Accelerator (TSBA) would form part of Tokocrypto’s upcoming T-Starter) though TKO users are advised to ensure that the use of cryptocurrencies as payment instruments is permitted by the laws of their respective country of residence prior to using TKO as a payment instrument on any platform which accepts TKO as a means of payment.

As for TKO's tokenomics, it takes the form of an elaborate scheme which is structured with the purpose of managing the inflation rates and liquidity levels of TKO to maximize the value of the token and to secure the capital growth prospects of TKO in order to optimize the investment returns of TKO holders.

The crux of TKO's tokenomics scheme is its quarterly burn arrangement whereby every quarter we will utilize a portion of trading volume generated on Tokocrypto's crypto-to-crypto platform to burn TKOs whereby the amount of TKOs burned may go up to 10% of total TKO token supply.

The first quarterly TKO burn which was carried out from 26-30 July 2021 involved the burning of about 200,000 tokens whereas the second quarterly TKO burn was recently carried out from 5-11 November 2021 during which 349,500 TKOs were burned. 5) What is TKO's CeFi+DeFi hybrid model?

Omar:
Ah yes, my favorite feature hehe

TKO CeFi+DeFi hybrid model is a first-of-its-kind token model which combines the time-tested stability of CeFi with the innovative flexibilities of DeFi.

In terms of CeFi, TKO leverages the stability offered by Tokocrypto as a centralized platform whereas for DeFi, TKO harnesses the financial innovation of staking platforms through the integration of the token with these platforms.

In this manner, TKO holders can best the both worlds by capitalizing on the strengths of the CeFi and DeFi domains while side-stepping their weaknesses.

Q6) How long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Toko Crypto? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Omar:
Hahaha it took us a while...

It took us a few years to develop TKO which culminated in its record-breaking launch on the Binance Launchpad on 7 April 2021 with 50,000% over subscription from 201,406 individuals, who transacted a total of 10,502,201 Binance Coin (BNB) (approximately USD 4 billion in value based on the price of BNB on 7 April 2021).

Moving forward TKO users can look forward to the addition of a host of functional use cases for TKO which would not only be driving up the utility value of the token but help support its capital growth prospects as well.

For the longer term, our roadmap envisages that by the Q4 of 2022 TKO's suite of services will comprise of an umbrella of CeFi and DeFi products, backed by Tokocrypto's mobile app and ecosystem.

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

Ramsy:
1) Trust and security are very important in any business, does it secure the information and deposits of investors, customers and users while working with #tkobytokocrypto project?

Here's our first one from Twitter 😃

Omar:
In terms of trust, TKO is issued by Tokocrypto which in November 2019 became the first entity in Indonesia to be registered with the the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency Indonesia (BAPPEBTI).

As for security, the protection of the deposits of TKO's investors, customers and users is warranted by the fact that TKO operates using Tokocrypto's network which is independently audited by blockchain security form Certik thereby guaranteeing the systemic integrity of the network.

The audit report for Tokocrypto’s network by Certik is available at https://www.certik.org/projects/tokocrypto Nonetheless as we are only humans and given the nature of life, they is always a factor in the equation which is beyond our control.

Accordingly, Tokocrypto has put in place a business continuity plan (BCP) to safeguard the deposits of TKO investors, customers and users in the highly unlikely event that Tokocrypto's operational systems are affected by a critical issue.

Other than the security of our network, we also strive to protect the privacy of TKO investors, customers and users through Tokocrypto's data information system which is certified with ISO 27001 and our cloud management system which is certified with ISO 27017 whereby this is a first for a crypto exchange in Indonesia.

Hence, TKO investors, customers and users can be rest assured about their information and deposits as Tokocrypto's operational systems which support the functioning of TKO are literally fool-proof.

2) Does your' TKO’project support staking program? if yes. how is your stake system work what is the requirement for user, if they want to stake in your platform?

Omar:
At this juncture, TKO holders can stake their TKOs on BiSwap, PancakeSwap Autofarm and Moonfarm.

The only requirement is that you would need to have some TKOs in your BSC wallet though since these are external platforms, you may need to register an account with the respective platforms as well.

Ramsy:
3) The project wants to be a bridge for people to transition from CeFi to DeFi in an easier way so I would like to know how simple and easy is your interface for the users? What basic education strategies will you implement for less experienced users?

Omar:
Whoa someone has been reading our paper 😁

As part of Tokocrypto's efforts to promote crypto education among less experienced users, we have devised our Kriptoversity initiative which takes the form of a mobile application through which crypto users from Indonesia and around the world can learn and earn at the same time.

The Kriptoversity application which is available on Google’s Playstore allows users to learn about blockchain in general and cryptocurrencies in particular while being rewarded with TKOs.

Ramsy:
4) Have you developed or are you planning to develop a program for ambassadors so that your project can attract more people?

Omar:
Yes and we are very excited about that program!!

We have recently initiated our local community outreach program involving TKO community groups in several countries/languages from around the world.

For starters, we will be establishing TKO Telegram Groups in 10 countries/languages: Turkey, Russia, India, Vietnam, Mandarin (for China, Taiwan, Singapore), Nigeria, Pakistan, Ukraine, Germany and Saudi Arabia whereby we will be hiring natives from each country to be the ambassadors of their respective countries whereby these ambassadors would be administering the TKO Telegram Group of their country which will be hosted in their native language

5) Almost 3/4 of investors are focused purely on the price of token in short term instead of understanding the real value and health of the project. Could you tell us on motivations and benefits for investors to hold TKO for the long term?

Omar:
This is a nice question to close thi ssession!

Right from the get-go we have devised TKO as a long term project which is built on strong fundamentals as illustrated by TKO's string of use cases which includes Binance Pay and TokoMall as mentioned previously.

Our vision of TKO as a long term project is the underlying basis for our policy of encouraging TKO holders to HODL their TKOs because just like how "Rome was not built in a day", it takes time to develop TKO to its full potential whereby the optimal strategy for TKO holders to leverage the capital growth prospects of TKO is to HODL their TKOs for the long term or at least for the next few years.

1)Non-crypto user is very important for mainstream adoption. How you are planning to attract non-crypto users towards your project?

Omar:
Lets start here!

We are doing big retail partnership; starting with Travala.com; hodlers now can book accomodations and flights using TKO..

At the moment we are on the late stage of negotiations for another retail channel partnership..

We believe retail adoption is key to mass adoption!

2) The cryptocurrency market is increasingly competitive, especially Defi. What is your unique "selling point"? and how will you take advantage of it?

Omar:
Good one!

DeFi is certainly a rising star in the crypto sphere. In many ways, DeFi brings to fruition the latent potential of cryptocurrencies as a financial tool whereby this is giving the traditional centralized financial system a run for its money. The exponential growth of DeFi can only be good for the crypto market as it showcases the immense interest in DeFi investments as well as the seemingly infinite possibilities of the DeFi domain in general.

DeFi will certainly disrupt the current financial system. In many ways it has already done so but the disruptions are positive in nature as they open a whole new world of possibilities for the financial world by challenging the centralized mode of operations of the current financial system.

Tokocrypto’s approach to the DeFi sector is to harness its innovative flexibility in a manner which does away with the instabilities that come with it. Hence, Tokocrypto has devised TKO’s unique hybrid token model which allows TKO holders to capitalize on the potential of DeFi through the integration of TKO with third-party DeFi platforms via farming pools, lending and borrowing, such as PancakeSwap, BiSwap, Autofarm and Moonfarm while minimizing the attendant risks to a minimum by harnessing the time-tested systemic stability of CeFi through programs such as TKO Daily quest, TKO Lockings & Staking, TKO Learn & Earn on centralized platforms such as Tokocrypto, Kriptoversity and Binance.

3) Do you have any plan for burning tokens in the future to reduce the supply of the token and increase its investment attractiveness thanks ?

Omar:
As promised in TKO litepaper and as part of our continuous efforts to control the inflation rates of TKO, every quarter we will utilize a portion of trading volume generated on Tokocrypto's crypto-to-crypto platform to burn TKOs whereby the amount of TKOs burned may go up to 10% of total TKO token supply.

TKO's first quarterly burn was carried out from 26-30 July 2021 during which about 200,000 TKOs were burned.

The second quarterly TKO burn has started on 5 November 2021 whereby so far we have burned about 350,000 TKOs.

4) Staking programme is very important for any project, I wanna know Can i stake your token? Do you have any plan of starting staking programme?

Omar:
This is important!!

Yes, TKO can currently be staked on Binance, BiSwap, PancakeSwap, Autofarm and Moonfarm.

As these are external platforms, the requirements for the staking of TKO on them differ based on the procedural arrangements put in place by the operator of the respective platforms.

5) Could you share with us your approach to the community and your strategy to expand your community? Do you have practices that increase and encourage motivation for the community?

Omar:
At the moment, we are focusing on our customer base for TKO in Indonesia and our target markets in Asia includes China, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, India and the Philippines. Nonetheless we do have plans to expand TKO globally particularly to European countries such as Russia, Czech Republic and Bulgaria as the crypto communities in these countries have shown a lot of interest in our services. A big thank you to everyone in these communities for your support and we hope to reach out and make available our services to you soon.

We are currently looking to create TKO Community groups in several countries/languages, and grow our community even bigger!
