AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X TOREKKO

TOREKKO is an ecosystem that allows users to acquire NFT collectibles.
Characters or places related to japanimation will be represented by these NFTs and can be bought with the $TRK token, as well as traded, collected or sold.

We hosted an AMA session with Torekko on 29th October at12:00 PM UTC.

Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. V.K. and Mr. Enzod was our guests from Torekko. They shared delightful knowledge and unique features of Torekko.

So Let’s Go with our first question 🏍💨

Q1) Can you give a brief explanation about 'Torekko' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this space?

V K:
TOREKKO is an ecosystem to decentralize the world of japanimation. We start with NFT collectibles related to jap- animation and manga.
Concretely, TOREKKO will propose to all to acquire collectibles on Japanese mangas and anime (with official licences).
We want to highlight the potential of NFTs, so it will be possible to do farming with our NFTs and especially we want to put in action our NFTs, it will also be possible to play the character in our metaverse that are going to release in 2022.
Torekko have a token, $TRK. $TRK users can stake their tokens to receive interest in $TRK.

The main problem of the current NFT market is that most of the NFT projects that are created have no real use. The NFT market is limited to only buying, selling or holding. Furthermore, the majority of projects creates unique NFTs that are not liquid. So there is a lack of liquidity and that is why our project will address this lack of liquidity with semi-fungible tokens.

Now Moving to our second one ...

Q2) So what are your main features that discern you from other projects and what key advantages do you have?

V K:
1️⃣NFTs will be semi-fungible tokens. The trend is to create unique NFTs and we want to differentiate ourselves from these projects to bring more liquidity to our NFTs.

2️⃣It will be possible to farm with our NFTs. The trend is also to create projects without a real utility and we want to give more value and credit to our NFTs. Staking and farming allows to obtain passive income and to give usefulness to our $TRK token and to our NFT

3️⃣One of the most important points of differentiation of our project is the real licenses. Indeed, our goal is to give credit to our NFTs. So we will make NFTs in partnership with real anime licenses.

4️⃣Most of the NFT projects do not have concrete applications. Torekko is willing to put its NFTs into action, so it will be possible with our metaverse that will be released in 2022 to play the characters/NFTs in the play to earn game.

5️⃣It will be possible to acquire boosters. Booster is another name used for collectible packs. The most interesting thing about our boosters is that the booster is an NFT on its own. This means that you have the choice to open it or keep it closed. So there will be speculation not only on our NFT collectibles but also on our boosters. Then, Torekko boosters are NFTs that can be stored, exchanged and farmed without being opened.

Torekko differs on many points and stands out from other projets. I have selected 5 main points of differentiation. If we were to talk about our future plans, the list would be very long. 🚀🌒

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

V K:
The project is primarily led by blockchain and japanimation enthusiasts. Passion is an important factor to develop a project on the long term. So we have an experienced team for blockchain development, fullstack development, design, animation and marketing. Regarding their background, some of them have been to renowned schools and have already worked on other blockchain projects. As our goal is to develop a project that is suitable for the blockchain community and the anime community, we also have a team of qualified graphic designers for our NFTS and our website.
Our diversity allows us to have a solid project with a team with different profiles that complement each other.
The project is also incubated by Oddiyana Ventures.
We have also Japanese people in our team, who have expertise in animation and Japanese culture, to ensure business development with the licenses.

Q4) Could you share a bit about security and also what benefits you provide to incentives user's choosing your Platform?

V K:
For the security of our project, $TRK will be a BEP20 and ERC20 token. We benefit from both the security that BEP20 can provide and also from the security of the Ethereum network with its proven track record. To do this, we will make a bridge

In addition, the proof of stake will secure our token and we have also applied a vesting for the team and investors which is a form of security, showing our willingness to create a project that lasts in the long term

Torekko is one of the first to want to collaborate NFT with real licenses to give more credit and value to its collectibles.
Torekko is a project with a lot of potential. Indeed, the thousands of licenses that exist in the anime world show the potential for expansion and scalability. Moreover, this potential is amplified with the integration in a metaverse, a play to earn game.

Torekko is also used for NFT farming and $TRK staking, where people can receive interest in $TRK.
So it will be possible to collect NFT and favorite anime characters and be able to earn thanks to our play to earn, but also to do staking, farming. We will be the pioneers who will link japanimation and blockchain

Torekko Has A Bright Future

Now moving to our last question of this segment...

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Torekko ? If possible could you please share road map with us.

V K:
We've been working on the project since early 2021. In a project, before starting the development, it is important to have a clear vision on the different stages of the project and especially to establish the different utilities that our project can bring. So we started by establishing the different uses that blockchain could have in japanimation and the different stages of the Torekko project.

After that we started to develop our website, our first NFT and our different smart contracts. Our website is already available and for the rest, it will be implemented in November.

For this end of the year, we plan to release our token, our first collections of NFT collectibles and boosters and also set up staking and farming.

For 2022, we plan to release a mobile version of Torekko, but especially the launch of our metaverse and our play to earn. We will also develop an animapp defined as a streaming platform for anime and also our own scan platform.

Our main goals are to decentralize japanimation, to highlight the potential of NFT, to put NFT in action especially in the metaverse, to show the usefulness of blockchain in japanimation, to popularize blockchain so that it is accessible to anime fans.

Segment 2️⃣: Twitter Questions

Q1) Torekko is moving up the rarity ladder by introducing our #NFT Moonstone from the "Torekko Originals" collection, i came to understand from social medias. Can you explain how this gonna be successful ? Can you give me an overview about your NFT collectibles?

V K:
Most NFTs that can be found on the market are unique. Therefore, even though there are tools available today to determine the rarity of an NFT, it is not liquid.

Our NFTs will therefore be semi-fungible tokens, in other words NFTs with a limited quantity. We will use 4 types of rarity to make it easier to identify.

common rarity named Ruby

rare rarity named Gold

very rare rarity named Moonstone

non-booster rarity/NFT named Onyx

There will be less types of NFT but thanks to this form of minimalism, it allows us to focus on providing the best quality NFT and especially that are not automatically generated by an algorithm like most NFT projects.

Thanks to this, we stand out from the crowd.

Moreover, each NFT has value since it will be possible to play them in our metaverse and also to earn interest in $TRK.

In addition to all this, what gives credit and value to our NFTs are the licenses. Torekko is in negotiation with multiple renowned licenses in the world of japanimation that will be unveiled soon 😉

Q2) So upon researching, i saw you have an awesome discord community! May i know its only focused to English speaking users? Is it a good place to learn more about anime and block chain? Moreover, the key point os Learn2Earn! So is there any earnings there?

V K:
Our aim is to create a global community. This is possible because blockchain and japanimation are two sectors that have a worldwide craze.

This is even more true with japanimation, which today is developing a global community and not just a Japanese one. For example, France is the second largest consumer of anime & manga.

So to answer your question, it's not just focused on people who speak English. We have created channels for the French and Japanese community and we plan to expand our community worldwide.

Q3) So torekko is the first NFT collectibles platform that entirely focused on japanese animation. Can you fill me in why Torekko decided to focus on japanimation ?

V K:
I would like to mention that we did not choose japanimation simply because we like this sector. Indeed, it goes much further than a simple passion.

The world of japanimation is already in a way decentralized, there are more than 10 000 mangaka and more than 500 anime studios in Japan alone.

It's a world where instead of having big players there are many small players who participate in the development of the sector. So our goals are common: to bring more security in this sector, to eliminate the intermediaries and also to directly connect the creators with the investors, the community and the consumers.

Collectibles also occupy an important place in the japanimation market and we wish to modernize the collectibles with the NFT.

Ramsy:
Q4) Torekko is announced a new partnership with Moonwhale Ventures. Could you share some of other TOREKKO' partners? What partners do you have currently and is there any partnership that will be established in near future?

V K:
We have various partners who are driving the project forward, such as Moonwhale, Roseon and Lavender Capital as strategic investors and Oddiyana Ventures as an incubator. We will develop our partnerships on the two themes that are linked to us, blockchain and japanimation. We are currently negotiating with several licenses, I can't reveal them yet. Stay tuned! 😉

Q5) About torekko, Torekko is an ambitious team that aims to issue the 1st licenced #anime NFT’s. May i know whats the meaning of this name? Also explain how you get into this name?

V K:
Torekko is the contraction of two words in Japanese "Torēdingu" "korekushon", which means "Trading Collection" in English. We have therefore selected the "Torē" and the "ko". To link the two, we added a "k". The result is TOREKKO.

Furthermore, our will is to decentralize japanimation and our project will be much more than a simple NFT project and we wish to be the pioneers to link the world of anime & manga with the blockchain, notably with the partnership with real licenses.

First, we want to focus on the crypto and NFT community and then on the anime/manga community. Our goal will also be to popularize and simplify blockchain so that it is accessible to everyone and break the current complexity of blockchain.

1)Can you list 1-3 killer features of Your Project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your platform has that you feel most confident about?

V K:
To summarise what has been said above, There are 3 main features that make Torekko different from others and worth in the market:
Semin fongible tokens : The goal is to address the lack of liquidity in the current NFT market with a limited supply on each NFT collectible and booster
Real licenses : Real licenses bring credibility and value to our NFTs.
Boosters : Torekko boosters are NFTs that can be stored, exchanged and farmed without being opened.

2) Binance Smart Chain provides low fees, fast transaction speeds, reliable and easy-to-use services. Do you have any plan migrate BSC or others chains?

V K:
Through a bridge, $TRK will be a BEP20 and ERC20 token. It will therefore be on the Binance Smart Chain network and the Ethereum network. The Binance Smart Chain brings low fees, fast transactions and Ethereum brings security and versatility to our project.
In addition, we plan to build a bridge for our NFTs as well.

3) Nearly 85% of investors only focus on short-term token price instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us the motivations and benefits for investors to hold your tokens in the long term?

V K:
The objective is to decentralize japanimation and also the whole universe linked to anime and manga. So it goes much further than a simple NFT project. We did not choose our investors by chance. We have investors who are first of all passionate about the NFT universe, crypto-currencies and even the anime universe. We are building a healthy long term relationship with our investors to gradually decentralize japanimation and unleash the full potential of our project.

4) Could you please explain as an investor why should I invest to Your project in the long terms what are the benefits for investors?

V K:
Our desire to decentralise japanimation is not going to happen overnight. Indeed, we start with the creation of NFT and an NFT platform. But the integration of other elements will be done in the long term, such as the integration of licenses in our NFT collections, in our metaverse. We also want to develop our own animapp and our own collections. The goal is to give more and more utility to our token but also to our NFT. $TRK will be used as payment for NFT farming and $TRK staking.

$TRK will also be the official currency of our metaverse and our play to earn.
$TRK will also be essential for the purchase of our NFT collectibles and boosters which will be made only in $TRK
$TRK will also be used for our marketplace

5) Will you include the most famous character from Japanese anime like Eren Yeager, Naruto etc in your NFT’s, how are you planning to obtain rights of these characters?

V K:
Our goal is to include as many licenses as possible in our ecosystem. We are already in discussion with many studios, mangaka and Japanese licenses that will be revealed soon. We will start by targeting recent licenses from simulcasts. Stay tuned! 😁
