AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X VISTAVERSE

Vistas Media Capital is quickly transitioning into Web 3.0 with its first blockchain venture: VistaVerse, the first indian incursion into the Metaverse, in an ecosystem with blending components of virtual land sales, P2E games, NFT marketplace and curated/branded and user generated content driven immersive Experiences. VistaVerse is a real-life representation of the Earth within the Metaverse, starting from the continent of India to later continuing its expansion to the rest of the 52 cities throughout the world globe.

We hosted an AMA session with VistaVerse on 22nd May.

Mr. Ramsy was the host from Crypto Miners and Mr. Dhruv and Mr. Jas was the guests. They shared delightful knowledge and unique features of VistaVerse.

First of all Please give us a brief explanation about ‘VistaVerse’ .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this Space?

Dhruv Saxena:
VistaVerse is the official home of the entertainment industry in Asia for the best of web3.
NFTs, virtual land, metaverse experiences and p2e games.
Unlike most other projects this is a well-backed and well-resourced project.
It starts with India give the size and demand of the market from both creators and buyers and will expand to rest of Asia

We had Animoca Brands, Bitmex founders and a few other OGs seed our project last year

Step 1 was the NFT marketplace named Fantico that went live in Dec last year which is where movie houses, music labels, famous artists etc. dropped their NFTs — so we did only curated launches

The company was incubated by Vistas Media Capital out of Singapore which has 8 businesses across the entertainment industry with about 0.5 billion of assets under management across Asia

We signed a lot of major celebs and brands to come build on our land, marketplace and curated experiences (our take on the metaverse)

Why we started: we saw that major people wanted to work with people they could trust. it was less about the tech and more about the quality and building on something they knew will stick around for 5 years

and longer.

which is a comfort they did not have from other first time builders

Q2) So what are your main features and advantages that discern you from other Projects?

Jas:
I can come forward here for this one! my name is Jas and I’m the product owner of VistaVerse

Ramsy | Crypto Miners:
Go ahead 👍

Jas:
Off the top of my head, there are two main differences between us and other metaverse focused projects. The first difference is that we’re coming from an established company in the media and entertainment industry. We’re a team of over 350 people that are already running successful projects and endeavours. VistaVerse represents the shift of our entire company into the web3 space.

By already being an existing company, we’ve already got resources and a reputation to uphold. We’ve also got a “DNA” of being flexible and agile enough to adopt new technologies. We’re not just two guys straight out of university — we’re an entire team of passionate individuals who see this technology as the logical next step of our industry.

Our reputation as an entire company is what we risk here — we wouldn’t be taking this so seriously if we didn’t think it was appropriate for us!

The second major difference is that we’re focusing on India first. There wasn’t really anything stopping us from targeting the entire world as part of our stage one release. But building on the previous point, Vistas Media Capital (our parent company), has already been running projects in the media and entertainment space in India. Our ties to the Bollywood industry and other Indian celebrities and our name in the industry really sets us up to bring these individuals into the web3 space — we have 20+ people and brands signed already.

There’s always room for expansion, but for now, we’re going to focus on the region we’re good at, which is India!

We truly intend to go full decentralised over time and will bring together the absolute best of talent across ideas, tech, marketing to the choicest of community — and ensure offline fun as well.

There are definitely a few more features that I want to highlight, but let’s start with this first and open up the floor for questions whenever everyone is ready ☺️

Q3) How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

Dhruv Saxena:
Core team is a mix of developers and business.
On the business side we have 10+ years of experience with movies, music, arts and influencers in product, finance, marketing, operations

On the tech: our developers are ex AI and blockchain entrepreneurs and builders with cumulative 20+ projects under their belt

Our advisory ofcourse is from some of the major investors in the world and NFT collectors from the region — who we work with on a dail basis

This has helped us have sharp focus on building what matters most — and earn trust of those we onboard very rapidly

I think in the past week, and in the coming week there will be a lot of press community can use to verify that

Example of pace. We announced an NFT collection of a famous actor on the 18th at the Cannes film festival — and till date we have 10,000 email signups for whitelist

4) Now Share us about your Native token, What are the some of utlities of $Vvio Token in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share to us the Tokenomics

Dhruv Saxena:
So token is due Q3 2022, we will do a small round there for only community members and OG investors

Token use cases will be across land, games, NFTs and soon to invest into movies and tv shows around the world. (access given via our incubator Vistas who invest in Asia and Hollywood movies)

Tokenomics will be shared in community, but truly land ownership and the 2 NFT drops which are live and upcoming will be the entry points

Let’s move to our last question from this segment

Q5) So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from VistaVerse If possible could you please share road map with us.

Jas:
We’ve been thinking about the blockchain space for more than 18 months, but really took an interest during the HOTTT NFT days mid 2021. We were close to launching our own NFT project before realising that there was so much more potential in this technology than just doing a simple NFT launch without much utility. We have the content part of the business sorted due to our existing business and relationships. The real part here is making sure our implementation of web3 technology is user friendly enough that we can educate the non-crypto natives and bring them into the space. The VistaVerse Metaverse concept began in Q3 2021.

Now in terms of future plans, virtual land is ready to launch sometime in late June/early July.

Two major NFT collections — one is live; one shortly after

We were just joined by 2 major heads on gaming ex- Gods unchained; ex GTA V, ex Max Payne (So game demo will be out in 2 months or so).

Keep your eyes out for the limited land available in 2 cities : Mumbai and Chennai as those will be the first cities to launch.

We’re trying to keep our interface as web2 friendly as possible, so community can deepen and spread.

Native token will be coming later this year like Dhruv mentioned earlier!

We’re also going to be taking more of a brand partnership focus as maintaining the integrity and validity of the project by incorporating brands is always a good “litmus test” to ensure that we’re taking decisions in the right direction. As mentioned previously, we’ve already got more than 20+ strategic players we’re dealing with, but that number needs to expand, increasing our exposure to the community.

furthermore, we really want to bring in the help of the community into the entire space. I’m talking across the board in marketing, tech, strategy the works! if any of you have good ideas and want to develop the VistaVerse by our sides, make sure you reach out to us ;)

1) VistaVerse is India’s First Metaverse, India has a large population. Will your project be available only in India for now or can we use your project in all countries globally?

Dhruv Saxena:
its available to everyone! We are just focussing on India relevant creators in short term coz there are 10–15 million crypto/ NFT aware people to bring into our community.

We already have interest from other markets like US, Canada, Thailand, South Africa, Middle East

what we’re making is very scalable and we have major interest from Hollywood as well

its important to make it inclusive and relatable

2) Partnership is essential for every project. How do you maintain your partnership now and in the future? What steps have you taken now or will you take in the future? You can show us some of his highlights!

Dhruv Saxena:
We have a seasoned team focussed on this — product, creative, brands and celeb side

major companies are looking to buy our land and we have offers for equity as well (which we are only saving for community)

3) Can you give some information about security measures? How safe are investor funds? Currently hackers are very active in the market and almost every day we hear about another hack attack. There is any audit?

Dhruv Saxena:
So we offer transactions in FIAT and Crypto + custodial for the people still building trust

Our team, like I mentioned has worked on 10+ large projects for defi etc. so well-versed with safety norms

we’ve also got two independent crypto audit teams who are reviewing all of our smart contracts and code, helping us ensure that we’re as secure as we can be

the celebrities and businesses that we’ve onboarded also have very stringent security necessities. we’ve been working with them to ensure that we’re covering all of our bases

4) To increase the validity of your product, what marketing strategies do you have planned to create large user traffic in MetaWander so as to be sustainable over time? What strategic patnerships have you made so far?

Dhruv Saxena:
We’ve touched upon this before so very quickly:

3. Some of the best crypto marketing agencies onboarded (we’re sparing no expense)

4. Aggressively inviting OG investors to buy in and be advisors

5. Aggressively inviting famous NFT artists to buy in and create

number of land depends on the real world space that the city occupies (for example, Delhi will have more land parcels than Chennai).
our whole land concept takes 50m x 50m in the real world into 1 land parcel
you’ll be also be able to build and host on your land too, but this process will start after we launch the first few cities

Jas:
check out vikram.vistaverse.io! it’s the start of our blockchain endeavours. the virtual land is coming out around end June, that will mark the official launch

Can you tell me how many P2E games do you have for now? Is it necessary to have the NFTs to start earning from the VistaVerse P2E games? Do you also have plans to launch more games in the upcoming quarter?

Dhruv Saxena:
We have three total, launching one at a time starting q3. not necessary but a cheaper way to get in earlier.

Do you allow us to be betatester of your incomming games?

the announcement for KH’s VIKRAM trailer/NFT happened at the Cannes Film Festival. It’s arguably the worlds biggest film and media festival. it all launched a few days ago (google search Vikram NFT Cannes and you’ll see it all!)
