AMA Recap: CRYPTO MINERS X XENO

XENO is a Web3 PvP game with GameFi. Players can battle using unique NFT characters and win the battles to earn Utility Token (UT). UT can be used to train and acquire NFT characters. The characters are tradable in the in-app marketplace. It is a tactic game with GameFi and e-sports aspects. Players who own NFT characters can acquire Utility Tokens (UT) and NFTs by playing this game. They can also trade NFTs seamlessly through the in-app wallet and marketplace. Their earnings are securely stored in the “General” in-app account with built-in swap functionality. Players equip their NFT characters with skills to battle. The strategy depends on the combination of the characters and skills you choose. Also, the tactic develops to predict the opponent’s actions during battle and assemble the skills you use.

We hosted an AMA session with Xeno on 10th October.

1. Make a concise and brief introduction about XENO. How it is playing it’s role in GameFi?

I know there’s lots of people who are aware about this game, but for those of you who don’t know, PROJECT XENO is a turn-based player vs player, PvP, strategy battle game.

Tons of strategies exist in this game to attack, defend yourself, summon some special units, save your skill cards and energy, or arrange your team formation and so on

Your choice of strategy is the key to win in the game rather than your characters that you hold. So it might be a good idea to have a great strategy.

Usually, players play blockchain games just because they want to earn, but our game is a game that you can both have fun and earn at the same time!

2. What are the features of XENO that makes it superior and special as compared to its competitors?

Okay, first of all, there weren’t that many blockchain games that were exciting and fun to play. So players ended up only concentrating on their earnings.

Like I said, our game is different. The playability and competitiveness in our game has a quality to be played in esports competition.

I know that the earning part is really important, but we are concentrating on making the fun to play type of game and we believe this is really crucial.

Players can earn while having fun playing with our game. This is the most distinctive part with the other projects and we are very confident

3.Can You provide an overview About NFTs? What types of NFT Characters are there now? What are the main functions of NFTs in your ecosystem?

PROJECT XENO | OFFICIAL:
In XENO, 6 different classes exists

The skill cards that players can choose depends on the class of the characters. The strategy and gameplay will change depending on the class as well.

So we have SAMURAI.

This class is skilled with melee attacks.
Has a variety of skill cards to destroy enemies in the front line at once.

BREAKER

This class is specialized with destroying summoned units.
Destroys the enemy’s strategy and controls the battlefield.

GUARDIAN

This class has high durability and is skilled to protect your team.
Protects attackers and gradually dominates the field.

PSYCHIC
This class has various types of long range attacks and special summoning skills. Will not be affected by the enemy’s battle formation and can destroy the enemy by attacking with precise accuracy.

NINJA
This class is extremely tricky that specialized to attack constantly, traps and abnormal skills. Combo with other skill cards will maximize the power.

Last but not least, GRAPPLER.
The class with maximum attacking power against “XENO”!
Critical hits and counters can quickly wipe out the enemy.

Depending on which NFT you have, the rate of earning and NFT drop rate will change.

There’s a rare model in each class called GENESIS and looks totally different from the other one. If you have this GENESIS in your deck, the earning rate will change drastically.

“XENO”, the character, has different types of passive skills. This skill will help you to win or make your skill cards stronger.

GXE just got listed on LBANK!!

GXE can be used in the game and you will be able to be a part of the GXE partner program.
More benefits are being considered and will be announced, so please stay tuned for the announcements.

Regarding tokenomics, our users are able to earn the governance token and utility token by using the NFT obtained from the marketplace, auction, or by playing the game. With the token that you’ve earned you may either train your character, buy even more NFTs, or swap.

Our team is working really hard every single day

XENO has been developed since last year and has been an iterative scrap-and-build process. The game system has been completed, and now we are working on the creative part, effects and animation of the game, and other aspects toward finalizing the game.

1.You mention in your Whitepaper: “Among some NFT characters, a special NFT character with an even more limited number of numbers called Genesis will be available”. So, can you talk more about the features, cost, profitability and benefits of your NFT Genesis?

PROJECT XENO | OFFICIAL:
Yeah sure!

GENESIS has 5 different categories from G1 to G5.

G1 is the only category with special appearance and the highest rarity and will let you have the highest earning rate as well

GENESIS has a special passive skill that increases the amount of tokens you can earn in the game.

We are still considering setting other benefits for the players depending on the number of GENESIS that players have, so please stay tuned for the further updates!

2.I read that THE XENO PROJECT uses 2 types of tokens: admin tokens and utility tokens, which are GT and UT. What function does each token perform in the XENO PROJECT ecosystem? What token will the rewards be distributed to the winners of battles and game tournaments?

PROJECT XENO | OFFICIAL:
Okay, first of all, it’s not an admin token. I guess this question is referring to the governance token. I’ll first talk about UT, the utility token.

Utility token will let the players train their characters, or skip and advance to save their time. We are now considering to have the same utility with the PvE mode, meaning player against non player characters

Now the governance token, GXE. Again, GXE just got listed on LBANK

Oh, by the way, GXE is also listed on MEXC as well

Back to about GXE, we are considering the benefits depending on the amount of GXE users hold and distributing as the rewards for the seasonal ranking in the Arena

Planning to have a partner program until the launch of the game, but not after the launch of the game.

DAO can be considered, but don’t expect too much and should be kept to the extent that this is only being considered.

GXE can also be used for minting NFTs

3.In PROJECT XENO there are 5 classes in total for NFT characters. Each has its own status characteristics: Breaker, Guardian, Samurai, Psychic, Ninja. So, Can a user choose between the classes or should one start with a class designated by the game?

As I mentioned earlier, NFT characters have 6 different classes. It’s not 5.
All the details are the one that I have mentioned in the intro segment.

Users will be starting with the class he/she bought at the store or during the sale. We are still considering to have the Free to Play or not.

4.Community and player support is one of the biggest aspects of the success of an NFT Blockchain game project. Most projects have programs that interact with their users. Does XENO Game have any special plans to engage and expand the community and improve the user experience?

When it comes to the community and player support, as you can see, we’re having AMAs and it’s our 4th time. Our project has just started, but we are giving every effort to build up a community where players can have fun.

For example, the current idea that we have for now is to have a simple and easy to use discord community

5.Collaborations and partnerships are some of the most important cornerstones to help improve adoption. Can you tell us about your current partners, plans for partnerships and what everybody stands to gain from these partnership?

We currently have announced several partnerships.

We have Pancake Games. They are the gaming platform who has investors and users played an important role for us to boost up the awareness. We will keep on having this relationship with Pancake Games

Hikaru is the TOP YouTuber in Japan, and he has helped with the branding. He’s responsible for bringing in non crypto users who’s not aware of GameFi. We are taking the lead in the Japanese market so far in this respect.

To boost up the awareness and the number of users, we will keep on onboarding new partners. We especially are looking for influencers outside Japan and onboarding ambassadors to accelerate our growth.

I have read that the new program, GXE partner, has started. Can I have more details on this? It would be very helpful if you could explain about this.

PROJECT XENO | OFFICIAL:
This GXE partner program is really new, so let me get this clear for everyone. There’s lots of benefits for this program.

GXE partner program will give you a 50% discount from a certain box sale, but be aware that the number of times you can get this discount is limited.

NFT will be airdropped every month until the launch of the game

Invited to see the alpha version

In order to be the GXE partner, you must bid at the auction that’s being held right now and hold 5,000 GXE3

2) O:
I’m aware of the partner program and think it really is a great program. Regarding this program, there was a part mentioning that there will be a 50% discount on upcoming sales. Would this sale be an auction again, or just a normal sale?

We currently are planning to have an auction style NFT sale, but also have a raffle for the box sale as well.

If the sale is for the GXE partner, it of course will have 50% off discount.

Auction will end on the 11th 3:00 a.m. UTC. The minimum bid is from 50 BUSD. 200 BUSD bid will guarantee you the character NFT. You still have some time left!

Hikaru is your ambassador and looks like his NFT will be on sale. Are you guys going to have a Hikaru’s NFT sale and is he going to have gameplay videos? Wondering if he’s going to promote constantly on his socials.

Hikaru has talked about the NFT in his YouTube video, but we don’t have a specific plan for this sale so far.

We of course will announce as soon as we have decided on this.

Hikaru is our ambassador so he’ll be promoting constantly. Don’t miss his announcement as well.

5) Trooper:
GXE just got listed on LBANK, but do you guys have any other plans from now on? Would love to know those plans.

The alpha version is planned to be launched in December at the earliest, and in March at the latest.

This will be the starting point to onboard ambassadors and starting new collaboration to bring in the new users. We are expecting that the majority of the new users will be the non crypto users who are not aware about the GameFi. When these users come in, this will directly reflect the token value.

We still are getting offers from a few exchanges and still discussing. Stay tuned for the updates with this one as well.
