Introduce yourself please. How did you get to be involved in crypto & Aqua Goat ?

I am Patrick, Project Manager for AquaGoat. I have been following crypto over the years starting with Bitcoin back in 2010. I have been investing in crypto on and off since 2017 but have gotten more into crypto trading at the beginning of this year.
I got into Aqua Goat as an early investor in the first day or so. One of the unique things about AquaGoat is how it is a community token, so the team only formed after token launch. Since then, we have accomplished a lot.

My name is Jhunehl, I'm the Charity and Outreach Coordinator for AquaGoat. I got started dabbling with crypto in 2018, but got more seriously involved early this year. I got involved with Aquagoat Day 4 of the project

Great start ! So guys can you give a brief explanation about 'AQUAGOAT' .What popped up in your mind to create such a platform in this space?

Patrick [won't DM first]:
For sure, so in the beginning AquaGoat had no purpose, so the team that came together after launch gave it a purpose; saving our oceans (since Aqua is in the name)
To put simply, AquaGoat is the start of a charity-based ecosystem and DeFi platform. Using our token, you earn interest from every trading volume and support our mission for ocean conservancy as a portion of transactions also go to our Ocean Blue Fund. Since the beginning, we have donated to 8 different organizations over $36,000 and have active partnerships to build a Sea Turtle Hatchery in Malaysia, and with Mrs California Earth as her environmental platform for the Mrs Earth USA Pageant in January 2022

That's absolutely a great initiative !! 👌So what are your main features that discern you from other projects and what robust advantages do you have?

Patrick [won't DM first]:
I would say our real world partnerships current and in the future are one of our greatest features. We have shown real world utility through the sea turtle hatchery and are working with organizations in the industry for further partnerships, such as opening crypto wallets to accept AquaGoat as a donation method to use in their financial strategy.
Apart from that, our upcoming swap provides mutual benefit to investors and the planet. Use of our DeFi swap will provide support in our mission to save our oceans!
Jhunehl:
Our team and our mission has a strong "why" driving it. Unlike many of the hype tokens that are currently popular right now, we are focused on longevity and quality. We have been acknowledged by over a dozen news outlets, showing that we are breaking past the boundaries of the crypto space and actually are reaching audiences in the real world.
Once a token's hype dies down, what does it have to offer? Will it be around next year or 5 years from now? Aquagoat will be and we actually have a real life purpose and mission that people in the field of ocean conservation have actually taken an interest in
That is more important for long term investors who want to put their money to something meaningful and something lasting

Jhunehl:
I worked 10 years for different media outlets as a video editor and a writer/reporter. The has helped me tremendously in our outreach needs and media relations

I personally have a background in the Solar industry and live right next to the ocean, so being environmentally conscious has been a major part of life. For the others that are a part of us, we have our Marketing Coordinator Eddie who has stepped up in the marketing team and takes his experience of business building and work with major companies such as Coca Cola and British Airways to help us in our growth. We also have James with a background in cyber security and works with the US military, and he helps to lead our dedicated Social Media team and graphics designers to help us create outstanding marketing material. We also credit our amazing community for their outreach and exposure of our project.
Everyone’s unique experiences from different walks of life has came together to help us build something more than amazing (:

Cool 👌🤝, so team can you share more details about the AQUA GOAT Tokenomics,is there any particular vesting schedule if so can you share more about it?

Jhunehl:
While Patrick is typing to explain, I’ll drop a little teaser about our upcoming swap

Patrick [won't DM first]:
Simply put, AquaGoat has a 4% fee on every transaction;
2% of every transaction goes to liquidity, and the other 2% is redistributed to all holders based on hold of the total supply. With 40% of the supply burned at launch, the burn rate is incorporated into the redistribution fee. This means we started with a burn rate of .8% (40% if 2%). At the moment, we have a burn rate of about .94% per transaction. The redistribution fee also includes our Ocean Blue Fund, a community-funded wallet which was put together and earns reflections to help us fund our donation and outreach initiatives.

So team how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from AQUAGOAT? If possible could you please share road map with us.

Jhunehl:
Our team came together after the token launched, so we care completely 100% community run and community driven ☺️ since the formation of our team 4 months ago, we have been working full force and non-stop to make this token a success

So far, we have only been around for about 4 months and we have accomplished much more than we thought so far.
Our full roadmap is available on our site aquagoat.finance, but to summarize, we are in Phase 3 which is essentially platform development and partnership expansion. Phase 1 and 2 were our “foundational” phases to help us create a solid footing. Now we are focused on expanding the network of partners and our utilities to provide use case in the real world and crypto space.
Future plans will include a stand-alone ocean conservation group, a scholarship to fund higher education for youth with a passion for the ocean, and physical community cleanups with AquaGoaters around the world, just to name a few.

We have been audited 3 times; by SaferDeFi (previously SafeFairMoon), ImmuneBytes and CertiK which are all available on our site aquagoat.finance in the menu. We have passed al audits with flying colours, with no vulnerabilities which pose a risk to investors. Our contract ownership is also renounced so absolutely no changes can be made, and liquidity is fully locked with all LPs burned so no chance of a rugpull.

Nearly 80% of investors only focus on short-term token price instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us the motivations and benefits for investors to hold your tokens in the long term?

Long term investors can trust in a project with a long term vision. AquaGoat is not just here as an investment, but we are here to create lasting partnerships and relationships in the ocean conservation industry. Our Sea Turtle partnership is only the beginning of what is possible with AquaGoat. This first partnership paves the way for more work with other organizations in the future.

What strategy will you implement to bring non-crypto-natives into your ecosystem? How do you keep a balance between developing the technology and also improving the value of your token ?

Our focus on providing real world impact and developments with our partnerships. Marketing initiatives work but primarily to crypto-space investors, while our greatest tool for the mainstream is news publication and spread through word-of-mouth; friends telling friends and etc. This is why we focus on these real world projects so the general public will become curious about us and want to learn more.
